Hi, Lauren! Thank you so much for posting these results. I was looking for them and couldn’t find them anywhere. Do you know where I can find the results for the men? Thanks!

I seriously dislike the new scoring system. How is it a good thing that the scores keep going down???

It doesn’t really matter if they go down? It’s not a good thing or a bad thing…they aren’t compared to any other quad. It’s not about making the scores lower, but it was about taking away a credit requirement so that some gymnasts don’t get major penalties for not having D dismounts. They could’ve just as easily added a CR and it would’ve made scores two points higher this quad. It’s annoying when codes change and you want to compare scores to other quads, but that aside it doesn’t really mean anything.

Wow I didn’t even know Sydney was competing. Was there some sort of announcement from USAG? Anyways, she killed it. I saw the videos and she was fantastic! Loving the new floor routine! I have high hopes for her this quad!

No, she went with her club gym, not sent by USA Gym. She can do that because she’s not a national team member at the moment. She was great though!

Oh ok! I’d love to see her at American Cup but they will probably go with someone else

Yeah, I don’t think her scores were quite high enough.

Ugh I was looking at elite canada scores and these and I kept being like oh 14.0 that’s like not very good, but really in 2016 COP it would be a 14.5 which is pretty good!
