2014 Senior Pan Am Championship Guide

The 2014 Senior Pan American Gymnastics Championships, to be held August 30 through September 1 for the women at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Canada, brings together the top gymnasts from the American continents for an “international celebration of gymnastics.”

The competition is the Pan American Gymnastics Union (PAGU) qualifier for the 2015 Pan Am / Parapan Am Games. It will determine which countries and gymnasts will compete at the 2015 Pan Am Games, to be held in Toronto from July 10 through July 26 next year. Athletes from 22 countries will contend in the women’s competition.

When are the Senior Pan American Championships?

The women’s artistic gymnastics events will be held with from Saturday August 30 through Monday September 1. The first day of competition will act as the team and all-around final in addition to the qualification to event finals. Event finals will be held on August 31 and September 1.

The women’s artistic gymnastics field is comprised of 93 athletes from 22 different nations. In addition to our previously reported full list of competitors, we now have the complete qualification start lists below.

Gymnastics Canada and SportsCanada.TV are hosting a live stream of all events, including every qualification subdivision as well as award ceremonies. Links for all webcasts are currently available on the SportsCanada website and will go live once the event is set to begin. The website features a full schedule alongside broadcast times.
