West Chester 192.250, Ursinus 186.075 [Results]

The DII host squad had a strong meet for an easy win over the DIII visiting team, bringing in fantastic routines on beam and floor after also putting up mostly good routines on their first two events. Jessica Meakim led the team with a standout vault, while Myranda Marshall anchored bars with a 9.7, Yolanda Nodarse brought in a 9.775 on beam, and the floor lineup built from a weak start to end up counting a pair of 9.75 in the latter half from Madison Brent and anchor Emily Loughery.

Ursinus struggled a bit on bars, their first rotation, but quickly brought the meet under control to put up good numbers on vault and beam while showing excellent work on floor. Heather Brubaker anchored bars with a weaker than usual set, but anchored vault with the team’s best score there and also brought in a 9.675 on floor, while Abigail Schwerdt put up the top bars score, Kelly McLaughlin led on beam, and Eleanor LaFountain had the team’s best score overall on floor, where she put up a 9.775 to take the title.
