1:37 pm. France ends up with a 158.797, currently behind both Romania and the Netherlands.

Canada still to finish, and then Brazil coming in the final subdivision…not looking likely for France to be in the team final.

12:52 pm. Marine Boyer FRA FX: The turn at the beginning wasn’t super sharp but nothing severe. Front full through to double tuck, short, punches forward. Good on the leap series. Double pike, low set, low chest on the landing, but good landing overall. Mustafina, came out of it a bit early but snuck it into a full pirouette.

12:27 pm. Coline Devillard FRA BB: Hit the switch mount and the side aerial. Stumble and fall on the bhs loso. Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump, a bit weak in the form throughout. Off again on the side somi. Stumble back on the double pike. 10.866

12:22 pm. Still no real live scores, the FIG scoring is here but you can’t really watch live scores in the way you can on the Olympics site. But at least it’s working? Just annoying to have to click through every apparatus instead of having a rotation list.

12:17 pm. Mélanie De Jesus Dos Santos FRA UB: Komova II to inbar half to Ezhova, whoops, lands It on her hips and circles the bar. Doesn’t come off. Maloney, tries to get it into the full pirouette but can’t. Arches over and comes off. Back on for theMaloney to full pirouette, piked Jaeger, Pak, looks a bit labored, not really fully casting to handstand, van Leeuwen, full-twisting double layout with a hop. 12.233

12:14 pm. Shallon Olsen CAN VT: Cheng, bent arms onto the table, like really bent, tucks her legs throughout, lands with her chest down, but gets it around. 14.433

Yurchenko double for the second vault, form throughout in the air is a little soft but not nearly as weak as the Cheng. Lands it well.

STILL NO SCORES FOR ME. Gonna try the FIG’s site, but it low key sucks.

12:13 pm. Ellie Black CAN VT: Second vault was a tsuk 1.5, great landing, looked a bit cleaner than her first vault.

12:12 pm. Ming van Eijken FRA UB: Straddle Jaeger, just some foot form, nice on the Pak, clear hip to shaposh to clear hip full, good! Solid double layout.

12:11 pm. Scoring has gone down for me, it happens at the start of every subdivision!!! Will try to post scores once they go back up.

12:10 pm. Ellie Black CAN VT: Handspring front layout full, some leg separation coming onto the table and then some soft leg/hip form coming off but the landing was solid enough, a small hop forward.

12:09 pm. Marine Boyer FRA UB: I wasn’t typing at the very beginning but she got the opening combo with leg separations, van Leeuwen, got the piked Jaeger, toe full to full-in, kinda low, messy in the air, but got it around!

12:07 pm. Lynnzee Brown HAI FX: Double layout, great! 1.5 to front full also went well.

12:06 pm. Morgane Osyssek FRA UB: Toe full, misses her toes on the connecting skill and comes off. Ugh. Back on for a Maloney to Pak, legs apart. Good handstand before the van Leeuwen, but massive leg separation in the air. Clear hip, blind change to straddle Jaeger, toe half was really short, double front with a deep step forward.

12:04 pm. I had scheduled a bunch of previews to go live last night but think only the first subdivision actually posted so I am THRIVING right now. But basically for this subdivision, France is nearly a guarantee for the final, Canada could go either way but I don’t think they necessarily have the correct team here…would love a South Korea surprise but also am not sure.

12:02 pm. The stream still hasn’t started for me and is just showing me the Eiffel Tower. Gymnastics now? Gymnastics now queen?

11:56 am. Y’all, I truly missed the final MAG subdivision and the first THREE WAG subdivisions at the OLYMPIC GAMES because I tested positive for Covid yesterday morning and it has taken me OUT. But I feel physically capable of watching gymnastics once again and am caught up on this morning’s drama, so let’s gooooooo!
