11:25 am. Simone Biles USA FX: Triple double, step back. Front full through to double double, small hop. Switch to tour jeté full into a lunge, some lack of control there but it’s minor. Double wolf turn. Biles with a step forward, toe maybe OOB? Switch full. Double layout, hop back. That’ll do it! 15.066!
11:21 am. Rebeca Andrade BRA FX: Hit the first pass, front full through to double double, big step back OOB. Full-twisting double layout had a small step back. Double layout, great landing, tiniest bounce in place. Excellent on the leap series after. Double pike with a bounce back into a lunge. 14.033
Helen Kevric GER UB: 14.466

11:16 am. Sunisa Lee USA FX: She needs above a 13.534 to get in ahead of Alice D’Amato in the all-around. Her team final score was a 13.533. Stuck the full-twisting double layout. Switch ring to tour jeté half. 1.5 to front full with a small hop forward. Double L turn to full turn. Triple wolf turn, some minor arm waves. Double tuck, a bit short, big hop forward. 13.666

9:20 am. The key rotation here will have the Americans, Rebeca Andrade, the Italians, and Kaylia Nemour, very exciting, I’m watching the world feed instead of the individual apparatus feeds so my focus will be this top group but they did a fairly decent job yesterday showing some of the men outside of the top group. Just worried today’s feed will be like “here’s Simone breathing for 10 minutes.”
9:18 am. Kicking off the competition any second now! Touch is underway.
Dream
Neymour- Andrade- Biles
let a girl dream okey 😂

how did you find the world feed? i only have the US feed, with even fewer routines.

okej, soo, the little frogjump that D’amato does in her floor, is it in the pointssytem or is it only for artistry??
I’m so conflicted if i like it or not 😂

ugh…I need to get my frustration out of me…the German commentator is soooo negative about Helen Kevric! It has been bothering me since the first subdivision. Elli seitz is the co-commentator…and all he has to say is „ah well…hard time for the Germans and they will never be as good as Elli 2021“, „oh, if you didn’t know Elli won’t be there, because the committee cared more for a couple of points“ and stuff like that. I am so, so glad, that Helen has shown that she deserves to be there and IS better than Elli. 9th place AA at 16 and her first olympics is extremely deserved! (Sorry for my rant 😅)

Oh! That’s bad. They should be more supportive of Helen. I see similar negative reactions from some Romanians towards the Romanian gymnasts. Why can’t they just be happy for their compatriots and be supportive of how these athletes represent their countries?
Oh! And Helen is 8th, not 9th, it seems.

Couldn’t agree more! I just don’t understand it – I get it, it was a tough decision to make who’ll get the spot and it was sad for Eli but you’re right, Helen deserved this so much! And today he sounded more like “oh, what a surprise” instead of looking at her all around and be aware that her best apparatus was still to come at the end (not that she needed to prove anything in my opinion, it speaks for itself what she’s already achieved, it just bothers me when commentators do not seem as prepared as they should be 😅).

That’s just horrible!! And it’s not even accurate when it comes to the Olympics. Seitz got 10th and 17th AA at the 2 Olympics she’s been to. Helen just got 8th.
