10:04 am. Noe Seifert SUI HB: Tak full, tries to make it perfectly to handstand but can’t get all the way over and comes down the wrong way. Ends up just jumping off instead of trying to fix it. 10:00 am. Robert Tvorogal LTU HB: Front full pirouette, Tak full, Tak half, layout Tkachev to piked Tkachev, lovely, stalder, blind full, triple back dismount, a little deep with a hop. 14.300 (5.4, 8.900)!!!! OH MY GOD, even with that dismount landing!!!!

9:54 am. Athletes are being introduced for the high bar final! I guess they’re saving the floor medal ceremony for after and they’ll do the two together?

9:53 am. WAG FLOOR FINAL STANDINGS

1. Ana Barbosu, Romania, 13.833
2. Manila Esposito, Italy, 13.700
3. Alba Petisco, Spain, 13.566

6. Karina Schönmaier, Germany, 12.966
7. Ming van Eijken, France, 12.200
8. Jennifer Williams, Sweden, 11.933

9:49 am. Alba Petisco ESP FX: Excellent full-twisting double layout! Small hop back. Excellent landing on the arabian double front as well, tiny step. Hit the third pass, I think it was a double tuck? I didn’t type it immediately and already forgot. Double pike to finish, small hop. FABULOUS. 13.566 (5.7, 7.866) – she comes in and gets the bronze!!!

9:44 am. Karina Schönmaier GER FX: Full-in, huge! Hop back. 1.5 to front full, kinda stumbles the landing, then hops forward. Switch full. Double wolf turn. Hit the switch ring to tour jeté half I believe it was. Double tuck with a hop back. 12.966 (5.1, 7.866)

9:39 am. Ruby Evans GBR FX: Great double layout to start. Hit the second pass with a hop back, think it was front layout to front double full. Almost looked like she skidded a bit, good save I think. Tour jeté half to switch half. Front full to front full, tiny hop forward. Solid double tuck to finish. Ooh, a podium finish for her maybe?! 13.433 (5.4, 8.033) – currently third place!

9:36 am. Jennifer Williams SWE FX: Double L turn to full pirouette. Arabian double front has a skid but she avoids a fall with a big step back. 1.5 through to double tuck, really short, doesn’t avoid a fall there unfortunately. Hands down. Switch ring to switch half. Double pike, really clean. Step back. 11.933 (5.1, 6.833)

9:31 am. Ana Barbosu ROU FX: Whip to full-in, hop back. Triple turn. 2.5 to front full! Ooh, an upgrade! I think she just did the layout in quals and the AA? Oh wait, no, she did the full in the AA, I just checked. WELL, it was great. Little hitch kick moment through to a leap, good. Stuck the double tuck. Switch full. Beautiful! 13.833 (5.7, 8.133)

9:27 am. Ming van Eijken FRA FX: Full-twisting double layout, pikes down and lands to her knees, noooooo! Front full through to double tuck, great landing there. Full-in with a lunge back. Double pike with a hop back. Ugh, shame about that first pass. 12.200 (5.7, 6.500)

9:23 am. Emma Fioravanti ITA FX: Excellent front layout to double front! SO freaking clean. Double layout, small hop back. Her power! Switch leap to switch full, her precision on the landing for that was WILD. 1.5 to front pike, small hop. Big Popa. Strong double tuck. This was excellent. 13.233 (5.5, 7.733)

9:19 am. Manila Esposito ITA FX: Lovely triple wolf turn. Double layout, some leg separation in the air but fab overall. Great landing. Switch full, some foot form. Memmel, kinda falls out of it into the illusion so it ends up a bit sketchy. Leap series after that went well I think. 2.5 to front layout with a hop forward. Double pike with a couple of steps back. 13.700 (5.7, 8.000)

9:18 am. Touch warmups are underway!

9:16 am. The athletes are being introduced for the WAG floor final!

IT’S FINE, WE’LL BLOG THE LAST TWO FINALS AND THAT’S ALL.
