11:45 am. Reese Esponda USA FX: Double double, small hop back. Whip to double layout, DIVA. Triple wolf turn. Front half to double tuck, seriously a legend. Leaps are a bit short I fear but she is slaying the tumbling. Double pike with a hop back.
11:44 am. Louane Plisson FRA UB: Toe full to Maloney with huge backswing into the Tkachev, awesome. Inbar to Pak. Van Leeuwen. Stalder to blind half to front giant to full-out with a great landing. Maybe some form in the full-out but overall awesome set. 13.850
11:41 am. Maïana Prat FRA FX: Double L turn. 1.5 through to double tuck, chest low but sticks it! Switch ring to split ring full, wow! I didn’t pay close attention to her ring form. Front full to front full, small hop. Split ring leap half. 2.5, great landing. Double wolf turn. Stunning! 13.400
11:40 am. Sydney Williams USA UB: Maloney with great bakcswing before the Pak, great handstand before the van Leeuwen, clear hip to blind change to Endo half to straddle Jaeger, great! Blind full, full-in, some leg form in the air and a step on the landing. 13.000
11:39 am. July Marano ITA FX: Triple wolf turn. Full-in with the tiniest bounce. Double L turn to full turn. 1.5 to front full, stuck! Mostly clean in the air. Lovely Memmel turn. Double pike, nice, just a small hop. Switch leap to switch full. 13.350
11:36 am. Kylie Smith USA UB: Stalder half to front giant to big straddle Jaeger. Stalder full, a little late, connects to a nice Pak. Toe-on to van Leeuwen, minor ankle separation. Stalder, full-twisting double layout with a small step. Lovely work! 13.300
11:34 am. Angelica Finiguerra ITA FX: Comes out of her opening 2.5 pretty short, pushes for the front layout but it’s a bit messy and short, somehow keeps it on her feet. Double tuck in the second pass was good. Switch ring to split ring leap. Lovely Memmel turn. Double pike, lands forward, but then sits it after she pulls it back. 11.200
11:33 am. Sofia Frenna ITA UB: Inbar to inbar full to toe-on to Maloney to Pak, really clean! Stalder half was really short but got it to the Ray to the high bar, caught a nice straddle Jaeger, short handstand on the half turn before the dismount, a double pike. The first half of this was really nice, just needs to clean up the second a bit. 12.750
11:30 am. Touch for the second half!
11:28 am. Simone Rose USA FX: Whip to full-in, some form in the air and ends up with a low landing, takes a couple of steps. 2.5 to tucked barani, nice. Maybe a little low. Think she had a switch half through to tour jeté half for her leap series. Double pike, pretty clean in the air, hop back. 12.800
11:27 am. Chloe Jurado FRA UB: Straddle Jaeger, clean Pak, toe-on to inbar full, some leg separation, Maloney to stalder half, ends up short in her handstand, double tuck with a tiny bounce on the landing. 13.000
11:24 am. Zhang Xinyi CHN FX: 2.5 to front pike, mostly good in the air. Switch ring to tour jeté half, lovely. Split jump full. Stuck the double tuck. Great extension on the switch half. Also stuck the double pike! Okay sticky queen! 12.800
11:23 am. Michelle Tapia ITA UB: Toe full to Maloney to bail to stalder full, a little rushed on that last element but nice overall, toe shoot, great handstand before the toe half to front giant to huge piked Jaeger, some leg form on the catch, stalder to double tuck, small hop. Nice! 12.900
11:21 am. Long Zirong CHN FX: 2.5 to front tuck, little hop forward OOB. 1.5 to front full, some form throughout and lands a bit low/squatted with a stumble. Switch ring to ring leap half. Double tuck with a step to the side. Switch ring half. 12.350
11:19 am. Victoria Valeros ESP UB: Toe-on to blind change to front giant half to Pak, nice. Maloney to Gienger, some pike in her hips and caught a bit close. Clear hip to blind full, really late on the finish, dobule pike dismount with a step. 12.350
11:18 am. Alexia Blanaru ROU FX: Think she started a triple wolf turn. Front layout through to triple full, wild form in the air and ends up a bit short with a hop. Double tuck was clean and solid. Switch ring to tour jeté half, and then a switch half to Popa. Double pike with a hop back.
11:17 am. Anni Sohnsmeyer GER UB: Toe half to straddle Jaeger, minor form. Pak with some flexed feet. Toe-on to van Leeuwen, some leg separation there. Blind full, stalder, double tuck, basically stuck it, nice solid start!

4. Louane Plisson, France, 12.900
5. Lilou Marliac, France, 12.800
6. Giulia Asaftei, Poland, 12.750
7. Bianca Holban, Romania, 12.475
8. Amia Pugh-Banks, United States, 12.000
11:08 am. Zhang Xinyi CHN BB: Big wobble and fall on the punch front mount, then a beautiful roundoff layout series. Cross split jump half to Yurchenko loop, landed too far forward I think, no real support. Gets the wolf turn and a little chest cartwheel after, nice. Dismounts with a double pike, big hop back.
11:05 am. Amia Pugh-Banks USA VT: Oh lord, goes for a Yurchenko double full but her arms are kinda bent on the block, gets mostly no height, did kind of a twist and a quarter before really losing her air awareness and crashing, she’s crying as she waits to do her second vault, ugh, gutted. I honestly don’t know how they’ll credit this. Oh, they gave it a full I think, yeah that seems right. 11.400
So now if she does a full for her second vault it’s like…not gonna count? Okay, just does a Yurchenko layout, doesn’t really attack it, so it’s kinda soft and bouncy on the landing. Poor kid. 12.600
11:03 am. Breanna Scott AUS BB: Really went for a quick connection in the leap mount to another leap but had a big bobble and fall. Hit the roundoff layout. Side aerial with a lot of amplitude but maybe too much, ends up taking a step back and then falling. Front aerial was nice. Off again on the double wolf turn, which just looked rushed, which is like…the theme of this routine I think. Bummer. Hits the punch front tuck. Double pike dismount with a step forward. 10.750
11:01 am. Giada di Pietro ITA VT: Yurchenko double full, some messy leg form in her flight, lands with a big step to the side.
Yurchenko full, also some form there but an improvement from the first run. Also a step on the landing.
10:59 am. Elena Colas FRA BB: Hit the mount, came out of the front handspring REALLY low into the front tuck, grabs the beam, then falls. Ugh. Nice double wolf turn. Bhs loso loso with a big wobble. Switch to split jump half, not at all in a split on the latter. Got the front aerial to jump series, but again the jumps aren’t quite there. Side aerial was really nice. Double pike with a step back.
10:58 am. Addalye VanGrinsven USA VT: Yurchenko full, arms looked kinda bent on the block so she doesn’t get a ton of height, but still gets it around without any major problems, just form and a low landing.
Yurchenko 1.5 is MUCH better in pretty much all aspects! Nailed the landing. 13.500
10:56 am. Maïana Prat FRA BB: Layout stepout mount, nice. Also hit the bhs loso loso really well. Switch to switch half, little bobble. Side aerial to split jump half to split jump, really nice! Switch ring, back leg not quite there. Double tuck set was a bit low and she lands low as a result but strong set overall! 13.550
10:54 am. Lilou Marliac FRA VT: Hit the Tsuk full, mostly solid form, small hop to the back. 13.300
Second vault is a handspring front pike half, not the cleanest and she lands with her chest a bit low and a big step to the side. 12.300
10:50 am. Touch for the second half!
10:49 am. Caroline Moreau USA BB: Hit the switch mount to the split jump half to back tuck, though the half was pretty short. Double wolf turn went well. Side aerial loso, bent knees in the loso and she ends up overrotating her hips kinda, falls. Front aerial to solid jump series. Double pike, chest down and a small hop. 13.000
10:47 am. Aniela Tudor ROU VT: Tsuk layout full, lots of power for this style of vault! Some form throughout but good height and gets the landing with a step back.
Good Yurchenko full for the second vault, same minor form and big step back but good for her going for different family vaults!
10:45 am. Li Rongjinyi CHN BB: Roundoff layout went a bit crooked and she couldn’t hold it. Fall. Ugh. Wolf jump to sissone, lovely. Side somi, chest down. Cross straddle jump to Yurchenko loop, nice! Had to grab the beam on her wolf turn. Front aerial to split jump to back handspring, lovely. Switch ring. Double pike, chest ends up a little low, small hop back. 12.250
10:43 am. Louane Plisson FRA VT: Clean Yurchenko full. Big hop back but that was really nice overall. 13.100
Yurchenko layout for the second vault, also pretty clean with a hop. 12.700
10:42 am. Simone Rose USA BB: Switch leap vault, got the wolf turn around with minor issues. Side aerial loso, leg up on a wobble there but controls it quickly. Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump. Switch leap. 2.5 dismount, lands a little low with a big step to the side.
10:40 am. Bianca Holban ROU VT: Tsuk full, soft hip and knee form throughout but a nice hit. 13.300
Tsuk back tuck for the second vault, also some form throughout and not a ton of height off the table. 11.650
10:39 am. Isabella Ajalla ARG BB: Back handspring mount right into two layout stepouts, nice! Also hit the leap series, second leap was a ring, looked okay. Full turn. Switch ring, that back leg wasn’t quite there this time, also a wobble. Front aerial to split jump, good. Onodi. Piked gainer full off the end for her dismount. Nice hit!
10:37 am. Giulia Asaftei POL VT: Solid Yurchenko full. Pikes it down a bit mid-twist and ends up a bit short on the landing, has to take a step forward. 12.950
Second vault is a Yurchenko layout, slight bend in the hips, hop back. 12.550
10:32 am. Touch now getting underway for the seniors on beam and juniors on vault!
10:22 am. They’re doing awards for the first four finals! Will be back soon.

8. Maha Feniuk, Germany, 11.550
10:15 am. Elena Colas FRA UB: Inbar half to Endo half to Maloney to stalder to Ricna to Pak, FAB. Clean van Leeuwen. Inbar full was a little arched, to stuck full-in. QUEEEEEEN!
10:13 am. Kylie Smith USA FX: Full-in, solid! 1.5 to front full is clean. Lovely tour jeté half to switch full. Double wolf turn. Whip full through to double tuck, hop back. 12.700
10:12 am. Giulia Perotti ITA UB: Toe half to Endo half to Maloney to Ricna, nice! Clean Pak and van Leeuwen. Toe full, doesn’t quite have the strength to muscle it around, ends up bending her knees and then has to hop off sadly. Toe-on to full-in, small hop. 12.950
10:10 am. Louane Plisson FRA FX: Front layout full through to double tuck, goes REALLY far on that pass and ends up taking a big step back OOB. 1.5 through to 2.5, step forward, that was nice. Tour jeté half to switch half, nice. Clean double full. Ends with a clean double pike, hop back. Fab! 12.650
10:09 am. Charleigh Bullock USA UB: Endo half to Komova II to Pak, nice! Inbar full, a little late, to van Leeuwen, nice connection. Inbar half to straddle Jaeger, maybe a little low, full-in form gets a little iffy but she gets it around and only has a slight step on the landing. 14.000
10:07 am. Addalye VanGrinsven USA FX: Double wolf turn. Full-in, minor leg separation, small hop on the landing. Front tuck through to double tuck I think was her second pass, I blanked out for a sec. Popa, switch leap to switch…half? I think. Double pike, slightly deep landing but nice overall, small hop. Solid! 12.600
10:05 am. Li Rongjinyi CHN UB: Van Leeuwen, minor ankle separation, blind change to big piked Jaeger, Ray, lovely handstands on the high bar, beautiful Pak, Maloney, noooo, doesn’t get the height she needs and kinda touches the high bar but can’t catch it, flies backwards in a hard crash to the mat. Back on for a Gienger, pretty low there, blind full, double layout dismount with a small step. 12.400
10:04 am. Martina Borsoi ITA FX: Think she had a triple wolf turn at the start. Whip to double tuck, chest down but otherwise solid landing. Excellent double pike. Switch leap, low back leg, to tour jeté half. Double L turn to full turn. Front tuck through to double full, that one’s a little tough to get around BUT she does it with just minor form. 12.800
10:00 am. Touch for the second half!
9:58 am. Sofia Tonelli ITA UB: Chow to Tkachev, bent arms into the Tkachev but gets it around, I think then a Downie or Church to Pak, I missed the root skill, hands slip and she falls. Back on for a van Leeuwen, toe half to front giant to double front, good landing there, tiny hop. 12.900
9:56 am. Clarissa Rinaldi ITA FX: Double tuck, clean in the air, big hop back. 1.5 to front layout, nice! Hop forward. Looked like something was amiss in her leap series footing? But she got both leaps. GORG switch half into the corner before her last pass, a clean double pike, great set, small hop back. Fab! She’s very clean and has a lot of amplitude on everything. 12.600
9:55 am. Alba Petisco ESP UB: Hop change to straddle Jaeger, short handstand before the Church to Pak, some leg separation on the latter, Maloney to bail to toe-on to toe shoot, nice. Really short on the handstand before the blind full, but gets that into a full-in, slightly short with a step forward. 13.400
9:53 am. Taïna Virlogeux FRA FX: Popa. 1.5 through to double pike, a little wild on the landing but not bad, just causes some steps back. Switch to tour jeté half, a little low in amplitude on both. Switch half looks better. Whip whip through to double tuck, low in her set and lands with her chest down but otherwise a solid pass. Front layout to front pike with a hop forward. Her face acting in her choreo at the end is very cutesy. 12.550
9:52 am. Sira Macias ARG UB: Hop change to straddle Jaeger, nice air. Ricna, goes into a dead hang after catching and has to kick start her swing before going into the Pak, stalder to van Leeuwen, nice on that, toe full with minor ankle separation, slow twisting throughout her full-in dismount and ends up a bit short, hops on the landing. 11.900
9:51 am. Stefania Boboc ROU FX: Oversplits a bit on the Popa! Clean double tuck with a small hop. Front tuck through to layout full, also clean. Split ring leap to switch half. Back layout 1.5, good. Tour jeté half, minor leg form. Another good set! 11.900
9:49 am. Caroline Moreau USA UB: Weiler half to Maloney to clear hip to Church, some leg form on the Church but nice series overall! Pak, great handstand before the van Leeuwen, just minor leg separation in the air, blind full, double layout with a hop back. This was mostly very controlled and tidy! Was locked in on those handstands today. 13.500
9:48 am. Maha Feniuk GER FX: Kinda fell back out of her double wolf turn right at the start. Double pike was clean! Hop back. Lovely Memmel turn, into a full turn. Switch half. Front layout full, minor form and a little leap forward. Switch leap to switch ring. Pretty clean double full to finish. Good work! 11.550
9:47 am. Touch warmups for seniors on bars and juniors on floor! Should be back shortly.
9:45 am. SENIOR VAULT FINAL STANDINGS
1. Benedetta Gava, Italy, 13.675

3. Aitana Pacheco, Spain, 13.225
4. Adelina Ionescu, Romania, 13.175
5. Emma Fioravanti, Italy, 12.675
6. Miruna Botez, Romania, 12.200
9:43 am. JUNIOR BEAM FINAL STANDINGS
1. Louane Plisson, France, 13.200
2. Sydney Williams, United States, 12.850
3. Michelle Tapia, Italy, 12.650
4. Kylie Smith, United States, 12.400
5. Giulia Asaftei, Poland, 12.350
6. Giulia Santinato, Italy, 12.200
7. Delia Jitea, Romania, 11.900
8. Lilou Marliac, France, 10.400
9:39 am. Ming van Eijken FRA VT: I completely forgot she was also in this final so scratch my Gava “title is hers to lose” comment! Mostly because Gava’s second vault is very low value. Handspring rudi, lots of power, pikes it a little, loses her knee form in the twists, and lands really short with her chest at her knees and a step forward and OOB. Very clean in her block! 13.750
Second vault is a Tsuk full, really nice, actually overrotates slightly and takes a hop back.
9:37 am. Louane Plisson FRA BB: Switch leap mount has a big stumble but good recovery. Side aerial loso, really bent knees in the loso, also has to pull her chest up a bit. Switch to switch half was a little slow and the half was a little short. Lovely triple wolf turn! Front aerial, some knee form, to split jump to straddle jump, split was a little meh but the straddle was nice. Dismounts with a double pike, small hop back. 13.200
9:35 am. Benedetta Gava ITA VT: Well this title is hers to lose. Yurchenko double full, really clean in the air and drills that landing, similar to how she did it yesterday. Fabulous! 14.200
Second vault is a Yurchenko half-on front tuck, hop forward but that was a lot of power for a forward vault.
9:34 am. Kylie Smith USA BB: Side aerial was lovely. Full turn. Bhs loso, minor form but overall pretty clean and solid. Switch leap to switch side to cross straddle jump, short in the switch side and also a little short and wobbly in the cross straddle jump. Front aerial, dismounts with a double tuck, really nice height there, small hop back.
9:32 am. Emma Fioravanti ITA VT: Handspring front layout, her form is honestly a disaster, I fear there’s no other way to say it. Super arched in the air and her legs are fully straddled, especially while blocking, she tightens them up a LITTLE in flight but it’s still rough. Gets it to her toes kinda but then falls back and sits it. 12.200
Second vault is a Yurchenko half-on front layout half, slightly short with a step to the side but the form is much better there.
9:30 am. Giulia Santinato ITA BB: Nice punch front mount. Check on the side aerial. Lovely bhs loso. Switch to split jump half, very short on the latter. Front aerial went low and long, little stumbles after. Double wolf turn, clean. 1.5 dismount with a hop forward.
9:28 am. Reese Esponda USA VT: Yurchenko double full, came a little low off the table I think, went a little low and long instead of up, she nearly gets the second twist around but is too close to the ground and crashes pretty hard. 11.750
Was checking her elbows after and talking to officials, I think she’s scratching her second vault.
9:26 am. Sydney Williams USA BB: Switch leap mount, good amplitude. Front aerial, slight bent knees, bhs loso had slightly better extension, lovely triple wolf turn. Clean side aerial. Leap series to back tuck was good. 2.5 dismount, sneaks around that last half twist with a step forward. Great routine overall!
9:21 am. Touch for the second half of the rotation underway now!
9:20 am. Michelle Tapia ITA BB: Switch leap mount, minor form. Front aerial, bhs back tuck, came out of the bhs kinda awkwardly and the back tuck ended up kinda low and short but no major wobbles. Switch to switch half, really short on both splits. Side aerial was good. 2.5 wolf turn, not bad, thought she was gonna fall at the end because she had a kind of lean back but she corrected! 1.5 dismount with a hop forward. 12.650
9:18 am. Adelina Ionescu ROU VT: Yurchenko 1.5 to start, tucks her knees a bit throughout but gets the rotation around and the landing is solid! Just a small hop back, but good chest position.
Second vault is a handspring front tuck half, really arches and turns her body into a banana on the block, lots of leg separation as well, and ends up a bit short on the landing. 13.175 average
9:16 am. Lilou Marliac FRA BB: Punch front tuck mount, little hop. Switch leap was short, as was the split jump, connected that series to a back tuck that got really wobbly and ultimately she had to come off. Bhs loso, bent knees and another fall. Punch front tuck was good. Got the wolf turn around. Double tuck, small hop back. 10.400
9:15 am. Aitana Pacheco ESP VT: Tsuk layout full with a step back, not bad!
Second vault is a Yurchenko full, gets it around well with a little flare and minor form, step on the landing. 13.225 average
9:13 am. Giulia Asaftei POL BB: Hit the back handspring mount and leap series, minor leg form. Bhs loso also with some bent knees, just a slight check at the end. Front aerial, clean double wolf turn, side aerial, 1.5 dismount with a hop forward. 12.350
9:11 am. Miruna Botez ROU VT: Yurchenko full, maybe slightly loose at moments with her hips and knees in the air, but nicely controlled overall, and a really solid landing, tiny step back.
Second vault is a Tsuk tuck full, ends up really low off the table and kinda lands it in a little ball. Not a fall but close to one. 12.200 average
9:10 am. Delia Jitea ROU BB: Back handspring mount and bhs loso, good! Switch leap to switch half, big break at the hips but holds on. 1.5 wolf turn. Side aerial, split jump half, a little weak in that jump and on the leaps previously, sissone to split jump, also not quite at a full split, solid double full dismount with tiny steps. Good overall! Just little things to clean up. 11.900
9:06 am. Oh wow, already into the touch warmup! That was quick today.
Seniors will start on vault and juniors will start on beam.
8:58 am. Looks like introductions are about to get underway for today’s apparatus finals! Will be back with you shortly, but for now and for your awareness, I’m watching on SportFace and following live scores on GymResult.
Reese! So glad she’s ok I need her to make worlds!

Same! I wasn’t super worried after her vault, she was kinda checking her elbows but not in a way where she needed medics or anything, so I’m glad it was just a little tweak or something. She really came back from that and did such a fab job on floor!
