The Japanese Gymnastics Association announced their team for the 2014 World Championships, according to their website.
The women’s team boasts a wealth of experienced athletes, including 2012 Olympians Yu Minobe and Asuka Teramoto, 2013 World Championship team members Mai Murakami and Natsumi Sasada, seasoned World Cup competitor Wakana Inoue, and first-year senior Yuna Hiraiwa, who competed at Gymnix in 2013.
The 2014 World Championships will be held in Nanning, China, from October 3-13. The meet will feature team, all-around, and event finals, and will be the fourth time the artistic gymnastics World Championships will be held in Asia.
