Lauren, did you get your eyes on a video of Iordache’s bars? Surely she didn’t add difficulty did she? If I saw the scores correctly, she scored well more than a point higher than she did in the team competition?! I am so curious about this. I know she added difficulty on floor. Hated to see Mustafina’s fall, but love this podium.

Well, I see that she had 2 stalder fulls on the low bar that she could’ve connected to her Shaposhnikovas but instead she added another stalder inbetween which could make her lose the connection bonus. Who knows, I was just happy to see that it was such a close race between her and biles.

Agreed. Biles would not have won this thing with a fall, as many thought she could. We had a competition! Loved Iordache’s excitement after her floor score and rank came up. She wants this bad.
Loved Biles’ smiles and sportsmanship the whole time (that should be a thing, shouldn’t it? “Biles’ Smiles 🙂 And can we just add that Kyla Ross is a rock star?
