Friday night is actually a pretty low-key gym night, with the only major meet an 8 pm showdown between the SEC’s two big Tiger teams, #2 LSU and #9 Auburn. The teams will meet on Auburn’s turf, though LSU still has the advantage, as they’re one of only two teams to break the 198 mark so far in 2015, and though Auburn is having their best season to date, they tend to max out in the low 197s.
Other top teams to compete on Friday include #5 Michigan at #29 Michigan State, #4 Florida hosting #34 Missouri, #6 Alabama hosting #12 Boise State, #14 Arkansas hosting #48 SEMO and #67 Illinois State, and #10 Oregon State at #20 Cal.
In addition, three invitationals are hosting NCAA meets, including #1 Oklahoma facing #21 Kentucky at Oklahoma City’s Perfect 10 Challenge, part of this weekend’s Bart Conner and Nadia Comaneci Invitational.
On Saturday, #8 Georgia will travel to #35 North Carolina for a 1 pm meet to start the day. We’ll also be treated to back-to-back Big 10 rival meets, as #11 Penn State and #24 Ohio State will compete on the Lions’ turf at 4 pm followed by a 7 pm meeting between #7 Nebraska at #22 Minnesota. On the Pac 12 side, #16 Stanford will host #13 UCLA and #3 Utah will travel to #17 Washington, also at 7 pm.
Sunday is a slow day, though there’s lots of ECAC and EAGL action. The big highlight will be #12 Boise State hosting #32 Utah State in an MRGC showdown at 9 pm. Finally, on Monday night, #19 Arizona will host #43 Arizona State.
