Yeah, in the replay she literally lands right on her shoulder. 8.9

11:05 pm. Just what I needed tonight…Miss Val leading a seance in the bathroom complete with candles and chanting. I’m super into The Craft so I’m kinda here for this.

11:03 pm. They just showed Hallie Mossett doing a pak like, into her chest and face and then crumbling to the mat so it’s highly unlikely she’ll compete tonight. 😦

11:00 pm. Get ready for the Sophina DeJesus FLUFF SHOW everyone!

10:48 pm. Anyway, Utah beat Washington 197.125 to 196.25 in what was a great meet for both. Stanford and Arizona also both had awesome meets, with Stanford winning 196.65 to 196.15.

10:47 pm. It seems like Schneider is gonna have to do her routine again. LAAAAAAAWD. Never mind, now it looks like she doesn’t get to go again.

10:45 pm. Seems like Schneider got an OT deduction which is why she’s crying…she’s leaving the arena. Tabitha is still yelling about things. Why would you give someone an OT deduction when it’s not the athlete’s fault, especially when she deals with the music randomly starting again in the middle of the routine?

10:41 pm. Schneider, Arizona, FX- Something wrong with her music so she has to wait a hot minute. Still problems with her music so she’s going without it, Brenna Dowell-style. Opens with great double pike. Front layout to front full. They’re putting the music back out in the middle of her routine which is probably 100% worse than no music at all?! JUST KEEP IT OFF. It seems to be somewhat close to where she actually should be in the routine though. Stuck double tuck cold to two feet, chest slightly down. Great job. She’s crying for some reason? And Tabitha Yim is stomping out of the arena???? LOL??? 9.725

10:39 pm. Chuang, Stanford, BB- Solid bhs loso, way short on her switch leap (she was at like 90 degrees) into a ring jump. Full turn, side aerial is way off but she fights to keep it on the beam, gainer full stuck with her feet apart. 9.675

10:37 pm. Sisler, Arizona, FX- She starts off her routine basically asleep laying down hahaha. Bless. Rudi loso to start. Double pike is a bit low but solid landing. Double full to punch front tuck, great. 9.9

10:34 pm. Hughes, Utah, FX- Excellent double pike. 1.5 to front layout, hit. Sticks double tuck COLD with feet together. 9.975

Daum, Stanford, BB- Front aerial, nice. Bhs, looks like she balked into a series, judging by the look on her face. Tries again and hits the bhs loso this time, nice. Switch to split jump. Slight check on side aerial. 1.5 with a slight hop. 9.675

10:32 pm. Mattson, Arizona, FX- Good double pike to start. 1.5 to front layout. Nails double tuck, a tad bit short. 9.775

Northey, Washington, BB- Caught it from the middle, though the first part was hit. Front toss to beat jump, stuck 1.5! 9.9 and she gets a 39.55 in the all-around!

10:30 pm. Price, Stanford, BB- Front aerial with a slight tiny weeny check. Bhs layout is SOLID. Switch to split jump, big double pike, just a small step to bring her feet together. So good. 9.875

Schwab, Utah, FX- Nails opening pass. I really do love this routine a ton. Good 1.5 to front layout. Beautiful 2.5. 9.925

10:29 pm. Edwards, Arizona, FX- Nice double pike to start. 1.5 to front pike with a step. Front layout to front full with a step forward coming REALLY close to going out-of-bounds but she holds it. 9.775

Goings, Washington, BB- GORGEOUS bhs bhs loso! Straddle to straddle 1/4, side aerial to layout full with a step back. Lovely work. 9.775

10:26 pm. Duranczyk, Washington, BB- She fell Monday but I think everyone did, whoops. Tonight they’re killing it. Anddd jinx because she was a little off to the side on her second loso in her loso loso series, and she fell. Hit jumps. Nice full turn, 1.5 with a hop. 9.125

Hong, Stanford, BB- Beautiful press mount into a stag handstand, check on Onodi into the bhs, not sure if that’ll count as a connection. Doesn’t matter, does a bhs loso. Full turn, split jump to sheep jump, stuck gainer pike. 9.75

10:25 pm.Felix-Terrazas, Arizona, FX- Stuck messy-ish tucked full-in. Big 1.5 to front layout. Double tuck is a bit low. 9.85

10:16 pm. Merrell, Utah, FX- Front double full to punch front tuck, good. 2.5 to punch front tuck. Love that she punches out of both just for fun. Nice Rudi. Great work. 9.825

10:14 pm. Rose, Washington, FX- Split jump mount, lovely front aerial to bhs, little check on her full Y turn, nice switch to beat jump, cat leap to side aerial, lovely. Side aerial to layout full, chest slightly down and she steps at the last second. Excellent leadoff as always! 9.75

10:12 pm. Going into the final rotations, Stanford continues to lead Arizona 147.75 while Utah leads Washington 147.6 to 147.25. Honestly I thought the gap between Utah and Washington would be MUCH wider than Stanford and Arizona’s gap, so look at Washington keeping the hell up! That is awesome.

10:07 pm. Spector, Stanford, FX- Double arabian, great! Front layout front full with a step forward. Solid enough double tuck. 9.925

10:02 pm. Price, Stanford, FX- She’s smiling and giggling at someone off to the side right before she goes, bless! Huge double layout, nearly stuck on two feet. 4:53 pm. Babalis, Georgia, BB- Fans are chanting “let’s go Georgia” but it’s to pump up this beam, they’re not jeering Sarah’s fall. They chant something before and after Georgia goes on beam. Front aerial to loso, slight check. Switch leap to cat leap to full turn. Front toss with a slight check. Stuck front layout full! YAS. 4:05 pm. Broussard, Georgia, VT- FTY with a little bounce back and some leg separation on her pre-flight. 9.825

4:04 pm. Watching Georgia vs LSU now! Funny that the SEC Network still calls this “Friday Night Heights” even though it’s Saturday afternoon. As if gymnastics wasn’t confusing enough for non-fans.

It’s not the real SEC broadcast tonight for Florida, and these commentary peeps are fully blaming falling on beam last week on Georgia’s fans being too loud, as if Florida has never been in a loud arena slash screamed in the middle of Rheagan Courville’s standing arabian slash walked into a restaurant at nationals last year screaming and screaming and screaming. Florida, screaming = you. You love screaming. You THRIVE on screaming. Don’t give me “screaming” as an excuse!
