Eastern Michigan 194.000, Illinois State 192.550 [Results]
The host team fought past counting a fall on bars to finish with an excellent floor rotation to get the win against Illinois State. Emili Dobronics led with an excellent day in the all-around, winning that title in addition to the beam and floor titles while leading the team on vault, while Megan Marino was excellent on beam and floor, Jada Rondeau put up a solid floor set, and both Lacey Rubin and Kendall Valentin were lovely on bars, leading a rotation that fielded only five gymnasts.
Illinois State didn’t count any major mistakes on bars, beam, or floor, but unfortunately had a rough go on vault to come up short. Gabrielle Cooke was the standout here, leading the team on vault, beam, and floor in addition to coming within half a tenth from the all-around title. Brianna Barrett and Savannah Remkus were both great on floor as well, while Anna Marema led the team on bars and Kylie Meyer showed off steady work on beam.

Winona State 183.325, Eau Claire 182.125 [Results]
Winona State picked up the WIAC rivalry win at home this week, ending on a high note with a mostly stellar floor set to seal the deal as visiting Eau Claire gave up their lead on beam in the final rotation. Specialist Alana Currin led Winona State on vault, both Katie Carling and Anna Hiller showed solid work on bars to top the program there, Hiller also put up the top score on beam in a rotation that saw lots of falls and major mistakes, and Kennedy Utz led the team on floor in a lineup that also saw strong work from leadoff Ashley Wright, Leah Messelt, and anchor Emily Woitchek.
After a rough start on bars, Eau Claire picked up steam with great vault and floor rotations, but they suffered the same beam fate as Winona, counting a number of rough sets to hold them back over a point from challenging for a win on the road. The top scores for this team came from Ashley Benes on vault, Megan Fayler and Hannah Lewis on bars, Sydney Dame and Erin Hillegonds on beam, and Tori Erickson on floor, who also put up a strong vault but struggled through bars and beam to fall short of her usually strong all-around performance.
AA: Tori Erickson, Eau Claire, 36.000
VT: Ashley Benes, Eau Claire, 9.500
UB: Hannah Lewis, Eau Claire, 9.650
BB: Anna Hiller, Winona State, 9.175
FX: Kennedy Utz, Winona State, 9.550
