    • She just moved last year! She went to Paramount Elite, but then her coach moved from the LA area to Washington state IIRC? Something north, haha, and I don’t think they had any other high-caliber/elite-level coaches left at her old gym, so she started looking into other options and TCT was her favorite. I believe she’s with a host family. But yes, the move happened after nationals last year and she’s only been there for a few months.

  2. I thought Karis and Olivia H were already Elites? And maybe even Lyden? What’s the process or regulations that require them to qualify again?

    • Karis and Lyden were junior elites last year, so they had to qualify to senior elite this year. Olivia was a senior elite last year, but she didn’t make it to nationals, so she didn’t have any opportunity to get her elite score for this year, meaning she had to re-qualify for elite again this year.

      • Thanks! That makes total sense. I do recall Olivia not getting to Nationals from Classics. So then this also means Sydney Morris didn’t qualify for senior elite either, correct? Looks like she might have had a rough time on vault.

      • Is that true of all junior elites? I mean, if someone like Konnor makes the Nationals podium her last year as a junior, would she have to go to qualifiers the next year?

        • Since she’s regularly at camps, they probably use that as her way of “qualifying” her as a senior because the camp verification counts as a way to qualify (which is why someone like Kayla DiCello didn’t have to attend a qualifier).
