  1. Emily Lee’s beam score like WHOA

Also poor Emma is riding the strugglebus hard this year. Wonder what happened to her bars this time. Give that it was 4.4 D/5.0 E, I’m guessing some requirements missing? Or some major errors? Or both?

    • ….she placed 2nd……. in a competition that didn’t have Biles, McCusker, Lee, McCallum, Skinner, OR McClain competing AA, and she only went 14+ on vault. Not that impressive tbh. The Leanne hype REALLY needs to stop.

      • I agree. I mean, obviously there’s still more time to prove herself, but the training videos have not been adding up to what she executes in person. Videos of her performing competition ready Amanars and Chengs have been posted off and on for the past year. At this competition she scores a 14.8. So either she performed a decent DTY (whyyyy though if so?) or she did an Amanar/Cheng and executed poorly.

    • I don’t think she’s back to full difficulty yet, so if she isn’t those scores actually don’t read to me like they’re bad execution wise. If she’d splatted everywhere her scores would be much lower. I think we can definitely expect to see her at Classics.

  3. Aside from Skinner and Emily Lee, the scores seem a bit low here. Particularly from the Gage girls. Yea, Covid happened and it’s the beginning of the season, but these scores are lower than 2019 I believe. Maybe playing it safe to secure a spot on the team?

      • wow very good move. What I find interesting though is that the WCC instagram posted that they are very proud of Simone, Jordan, Amari and Olivia but there was no mention of Sydney. I’m happy for her, she got out of TD before they destroyed her!

  4. What is the source for these results? Are there videos anywhere? It’s insane Skye and Konnor did not make the national team, the top 2005 competitors for Tokyo.

    Waiting for US Classic…!

    • A coach sent them to me. Gymnasts knew going in that they had to compete all four events to make the national team, so Skye and Konnor didn’t expect to make it here, but still wanted to show the events they did!

  5. Is it possible to watch the routines anywhere? I know the whole thing with FloGymnastics but has anyone posted them anywhere, would love to see Emily’s beam and others!
