3:35 pm. Final Standings

1. Madray Johnson 106.600
2. Jayla Hang 104.850
3. Alicia Zhou 104.350
4. Dulcy Caylor 103.400
5. Izzy Stassi 103.050
6. Hezly Rivera 102.600
7. Zoey Molomo 102.550
– Audrey Snyder 102.550

3:33 pm. Ella Kate Parker FX: Triple full had some form and was slightly shy but got the landing. She’s just a joy to watch, I hope she can clean up over the next year because she’ll be so good (I mean like she once was…sad to see her lose so much over the past six months but the talent is there, I think she was just doing way too much way too soon). 2.5 to punch front, stuck! A little iffy in the form on a switch ring. Double pike, legs apart in the air and she comes up a bit short, a fall there unfortunately. 10.750

3:32 pm. Dulcy Caylor UB: Maloney to Pak, clean, good handstand before the van Leeuwen, very clean there, toe-on to stalder, a little late, blind full, blind change to front giant to straddle Jaeger, REALLY had to reach for that but gets it! Double layout, maybe comes off slightly early, steps on the landing. 12.850

3:31 pm. Why this stream loves to show replays of routines instead of what’s happening live is so confusing. Got a glimpse of Norah Christian’s routine, which looked mostly good. A little iffy in a leap series but had good toe points on the jumps to back pike. Double full dismount.

Tiana Sumanasekera UB: 10.250

3:29 pm. Madray Johnson FX: Jumped into this late, saw she landed a tumbling line, then hit a split jump full. I think that was probably her second pass based on the music. Tour jeté half landed well. Double tuck with a lunge back.

3:28 pm. Norah Christian UB: I didn’t have enough time to start typing for this but this was a hit routine, including a piked Jaeger and double layout dismount. 12.250

Kelise Woolford BB: Big break at the hips on the bhs loso. Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump, that looked nice. Switch to switch half, latter doesn’t make it near 180. Back tuck. Double full with a small bounce. 12.200

3:26 pm. Claire Pease FX: Caught it as she was landing something, ran several steps OOB on that. Double pike with a step to the side at the end. 12.100

3:24 pm. Audrey Snyder BB: Bhs loso loso is super solid, side aerial, front aerial, extended well but has to bobble out of it, split jump to straddle jump, some very nice toe point, hit another jump series, double tuck with a step back. 13.000

Zoey Molomo UB: Toe full, a little sway in her back, to Maloney to Pak, van Leeuwen with some leg form, slightly short on the handstand before the blind change to straddle Jaeger, but then she has to pause on the bar before the front giant into the double front, runs forward out of it. 12.100

3:21 pm. Hezly Rivera FX: Great set into the double layout! Little bounce on the landing. Full-In with a little bounce as well. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Double wolf turn. Front tuck through to double tuck, looked close to stuck to me! Switch side. 1.5 with a little step at the end. Fabulous! 13.250

Christiane Popovich BB: 12.150

3:20 pm. Alicia Zhou BB: A bit off on the flight series, has a little stumble, switch half, full turn, side aerial, switch leap, front aerial, double full with a hop back. 12.150

Gabrielle Hardie VT: Yurchenko full, a little lacking in the block, but pretty clean, small step back. 13.050

Lacie Saltzmann UB: 12.050

3:19 pm. Myli Lew VT: Yurchenko full, great landing, just not super powerful. 13.000

Ella Murphy FX: Only saw the last pass, a great landing on the double tuck. 12.650

3:17 pm. Malea Milton BB: Hit the mount, sissone, front aerial, bhs loso loso with a slight check, switch leap to split jump, some leg form but it’s slight, full turn, dances out of it smoothly, side aerial, side somi, double full with a lunge back. 12.450

3:16 pm. Payton Chandler UB: Toe-on to toe full I think to Maloney to Pak, stalder to Ray, blind change to front giant half, double tuck with a hop. 12.100

Izzy Stassi VT: Yurchenko 1.5, hop forward. 13.750

Kieryn Finnell VT: Yurchenko full, pretty clean, small bounce. 13.100

3:15 pm. Avery King FX: Full-in with a step back. Lunge back on the double pike. 1.5 to front full with a step. Double tuck with a step back. Some solid tumbling in there! 12.750

Michelle Pineda UB: Oof, just a 9.750?

3:13 pm. Nicole Desmond BB: Full turn, side aerial, hit something else after that but I didn’t see what, pretty solid on the bhs loso loso, split jump to wolf jump, front aerial, double…tuck I think? With a lunge back. Good work! 12.700

Jayla Hang VT: Yurchenko double, maybe slightly deep in the landing, takes a step, but very nice overall! 14.050!

3:12 pm. Sage Bradford FX: Double tuck with a step to start, and she hit her 1.5 to front pike I believe for her second pass? Also had a switch ring in there. Lunge back on the double pike. 11.850

3:08 pm. Tiana has a good cushion right now but she’s going to bars and Jayla is going to vault so I expect to see them swap.

3:05 pm. Rotation 7 Standings

1. Madray Johnson 93.550
2. Tiana Sumanasekera 92.200
– Alicia Zhou 92.200
4. Jayla Hang 90.800
5. Dulcy Caylor 90.550
6. Zoey Molomo 90.450
7. Hezly Rivera 89.550
– Audrey Snyder 89.550

3:02 pm. Claire Pease BB: Bhs loso loso with a slight hip adjustment. front aerial to straddle jump to back handspring, side aerial, slight check, switch leap to split jump, a little shy of 180, to Onodi, full turn with a wobble, double tuck with a big lunge back, and then a second step on top of it.

3:00 pm. Just one routine left in this rotation, on beam.

2:58 pm. Hezly Rivera BB: Had a wolf turn at the start, I love these red leos from a distance. Little check on the side aerial. Bhs loso looked crooked from this angle and she had a wobble. Switch leap to switch half, little check. Front aerial slow to the split jump to straddle jump. Switch ring. 2.5 a little underrotated with a step. 13.000

2:57 pm. Getting some vault replays! Tiana Sumanasekera’s Yurchenko double was mostly clean, but a bit short, big lunge forward. Dulcy Caylor’s didn’t get a ton of punch off the horse and she landed a bit low.

Zoey Molomo VT: Yurchenko 1.5, hop forward. She sat one in warm-ups so good that she improved here! 13.900

Norah Christian VT: Yurchenko full had a big leap back. Also tried a Yurchenko double but put her hands down. I think they’re counting the score for the full, which was 13.000.

Ella Murphy BB: 11.250

2:56 pm. Audrey Snyder UB: Hit a pirouette before a Tkachev to Pak, short handstand before the toe-on to van Leeuwen, some ankle form there, blind change to front giant half, tucks her legs and has to cast back to handstand, double layout with a step back. 12.250

Avery King BB: 11.650

2:54 pm. Kieryn Finnell FX: She has the most gorgeous orange and white leo on, I’m obsessed! Popa. Piked full-in with a step back OOB. Memmel turn goes super wild, has to really jerk it around. Double tuck with a lunge back. Hop L turn through to switch 3/4, think it was supposed to be a full. 1.5 to front layout, dances right out of it. Double pike, chest forward and a step. 11.650

2:53 pm. Christiane Popovich UB: Came in late to this. A little rushed in a full pirouette, straddle Jaeger, missed a handstand out of it and had to cast back up, full-twisting double layout with some form in the air and a step on the landing. 11.200

2:52 pm. Izzy Stassi FX: Full-in with a hop. Hop L turn to tour jeté half. Double tuck with a little hop back. 1.5 to front full was clean. 2.5 with a step forward. Some great work in here! 13.150

Sage Bradford BB: 12.400

2:50 pm. Ella Kate Parker BB: Little check on the side aerial loso, front aerial to a solid jump series, switch leap to switch half, a bit short there with a wobble, full turn finishes sideways, double full with a step. 12.100

Lacie Saltzman VT: Think she does a handspring front tuck? 12.400

2:49 pm. Malea Milton UB: Toe full was a little late, Maloney with leg form, doesn’t connect out of it, the stream froze on what I assume was a Pak, toe half to straddle Jaeger, stuck the double layout! 11.850

2:48 pm. Jayla Hang FX: Full-in, really strong landing. Popa. Double pike with a little bounce back. Switch half. Had a big bounce forward out of the third pass. Double wolf turn. Double tuck finishes short with a little punch forward, leg up. 12.400

Payton Chandler VT: Yurchenko full, 13.150

Alicia Zhou UB: Stalder full, a little late, Maloney to Pak is very clean, van Leeuwen with slight ankle form, stalder half to straddle Jaeger, full-in stuck! 13.450

2:46 pm. Madray Johnson BB: Bhs loso loso, the second loso came up really high and tight, no distance out of it, and it causes her to finish short with a little stumble. Onodi, side aerial, both solid. Front aerial to split jump to back handspring was very nice. Switch to switch half. Double tuck, a bit deep with a big lunge back to steady it. 12.950

Michelle Pineda VT: Yurchenko full, 13.150

2:45 pm. Gabrielle Hardie FX: Started with something to a front tuck, we missed the very beginning. 1.5 to front full was landed well. Switch leap to switch full. Full L turn. Double tuck with a hop back. 12.900

Dulcy Caylor VT: Yurchenko double, 13.600

2:44 pm. Nicole Desmond UB: Stalder to toe full, some leg separation, Pak with leg separation, toe shoot, toe half to front giant half, a little late, double pike with a step. 11.100

2:43 pm. Kelise Woolford UB: Maloney to Pak, some flexed feet but tight legs, van Leeuwen, blind change to a nice high straddle Jaeger, stalder to full-in, leg form is kind of messy with a stumble back. 12.450

Tiana Sumanasekera VT: Yurchenko double, we haven’t seen it yet, 14.000

2:41 pm. Myli Lew FX: Double pike with a lunge back. 1.5 comes out a little short but she still gets the front layout around. Her finger placement in most of her arm movements is exquisite. And it’s without her wrists being bent! Switch half. Switch to tour jeté half. Hit the last pass. Good work! 12.250

2:40 pm. These breaks feel endless but there are like ~8 gymnasts per rotation group and they’re not doing halfway point warm-ups so I guess it’s fitting. I just obviously am impatient.

2:33 pm. Rotation 6 Standings

1. Madray Johnson 80.600
2. Alicia Zhou 78.750
3. Jayla Hang 78.400
4. Tiana Sumanasekera 78.200
5. Malea Milton 77.600
6. Audrey Snyder 77.300
7. Dulcy Caylor 76.950
8. Hezly Rivera 76.550
– Zoey Molomo 76.550

2:31 pm. Lacie Saltzmann FX: Double pike is clean with a little bounce. Switch ring to switch half. Front tuck through to layout full, clean. Popa. Double tuck with a baby bounce. Not the most difficult routine but very clean and very typical Texas Dreams with lots of cute little moments in the choreo, which she’s great at doing.

Gabriella Van Frayen BB: 12.250

2:29 pm. Think we’re just waiting for maybe one more floor routine to start for this rotation!

Payton Chandler FX: 12.500

2:25 pm. Ella Murphy UB: Straddle Jaeger, great handstand before the Ray, another lovely handstand before the Pak, inbar half, think that was supposed to be a full, she casts back to handstand but looks off and decides to hop off. They cut away while she re-chalked, we only saw the full-in when we came back. 11.550

2:24 pm. Izzy Stassi BB: Wasn’t typing but everything looked pretty nice! I saw it from the tour jeté half. Also had a clean jump series. Punch front with a check going out of it into her choreo. 2.5 with a big lunge forward. 12.850

Madray Johnson UB: This happened a million years ago but we just got the replay. Stalder full, slightly late, to Maloney to Pak, legs apart and too arched, van Leeuwen was mostly clean, toe half to straddle Jaeger, full-in with a step. 13.450

Avery King UB: 12.000

2:23 pm. Michelle Pineda FX: Triple full! Some leg form and a little hop to the side, then a really long pause before her next bit of choreo starts. This is the artistry stuff that the U.S. needs to work on, no one should have to just stand there for multiple seconds! Memmel turn, 1.5 to front layout, switch to switch full I think after the opening pass. Double wolf turn finished a little early in rotation from the looks of it. Double pike with a hop back. 2.5 with a step forward. 12.000

2:21 pm. Jayla Hang BB: Got the wolf turn, standing loso to loso, slight wobble, check on the side aerial, didn’t connect to the jump series. Double tuck, a little low with her chest and a step. 12.700

2:19 pm. Dulcy Caylor FX: Tucked full-in, practically stuck it, just clicks her feet together. 1.5 to front full with a hop. Switch ring to tour jeté half. 1.5 comes up a little weird in the rotation and she has to take a big step to steady it. Double wolf turn. Great landing on the double tuck, little bounce. 13.200

2:18 pm. Gabrielle Hardie BB: Hit her flight series and a switch leap, split jump to sissone was clean, side aerial, 1.5 dismount with a hop. 12.500

Sage Bradford UB: Front giant half, blind full, double tuck, step back. That’s all we saw. 11.650

2:16 pm. Tiana Sumanasekera FX: Double layout goes really high, good landing. Double tuck with a little hop back. Switch ring to tour jeté half. 1.5 to front layout was good. Double pike was clean with a big hop back. 13.600!

Christiane Popovich VT: Yurchenko double, looked solid! 13.900

2:15 pm. Ella Kate Parker UB: Caught it from the toe shoot, couldn’t get a pirouette around on the high bar, tried to muscle it around but legs fell apart and she had to pause. Double layout was low with steps forward. 10.000

2:14 pm. Myli Lew BB: Saw the switch to switch half, didn’t connect to the back tuck. Front aerial to split jump to Korbut, THE TOE POINT!!! It’s everywhere. You can see it from a mile away. Triple wolf turn. Solid bhs loso. Side aerial. Clean double full with a step to the side. 13.350

2:13 pm. Malea Milton VT: REALLY nice Yurchenko 1.5! Small hop forward, looked like it had a ton of power. 13.700

Norah Christian FX: Tucked full-in, some leg form with a hop back. Arabian double front, nice! Small hop forward. Switch ring, low back knee, to tour jeté half. Popa. Switch full, kind of. Maybe 3/4. Double tuck with a little hop to the side. 12.850

2:12 pm. Simone Rose BB: Think she started with a bhs loso loso, landed it so smoothly. Side aerial. Front aerial with a medium bobble, leg up. 2.5 with a hop forward. 12.950

Kelise Woolford VT: Yurchenko full, 13.100

Nicole Desmond VT: Yurchenko full, powerful, big lunge back. 12.850

Alicia Zhou VT: Yurchenko full, super clean and almost stuck! 13.500

2:11 pm. Claire Pease UB: Strong straddle Jaeger, toe-on to Pak was clean, toe shoot, nice handstand before the giants to double pike dismount, stuck it cold with her feet apart! Not her strongest event but that was really solid. 12.350

2:09 pm. Kieryn Finnell BB: Bhs loso loso, little bobble. Switch leap, low back leg, wolf jump to sissone, back leg again isn’t quite there. Front aerial, a little slow to split jump (not 180) to back handspring, side aerial with a step back. Switch side. Full turn. Double pike with a lunge back. 12.400

Audrey Snyder VT: Yurchenko full, clean, lunge back. 13.350

Hezly Rivera UB: 11.550

2:07 pm. Zoey Molomo FX: Big air on the Popa at the start. Her knees are SO heavily taped AND wrapped, I hope she’s okay! Piked full-in was solid. Full Y turn. Dobule pike with a few steps back. Switch leap to tour jeté half, nice split! Front layout full was clean with a hop. Double wolf turn. Double tuck was stuck! Some landings weren’t as on today, probably due to her knee issues that she has going on, but overall it was a really strong set. 12.500

2:06 pm. Should be wrapping up the touch any second now.

2:02 pm. Rotation 5 Standings

1. Madray Johnson 67.150
2. Jayla Hang 65.700
3. Alicia Zhou 65.250
4. Hezly Rivera 65.000
5. Tiana Sumanasekera 64.600
6. Claire Pease 64.150
7. Zoey Molomo 64.050
8. Audrey Snyder 63.950

1:59 pm. Michelle Pineda BB: Bhs loso loso, good finish! Front aerial to split jump to Korbut is clean. Switch leap to split leap. I think an Onodi after that? I only saw her coming out of it. Hit the dismount, IIRC it was a double full.

1:55 pm. Dulcy Caylor BB: Slight check on her flight series, switch to sissone, front aerial to split jump, back tuck, good landing on the double full dismount. 12.350

1:54 pm. I wasn’t typing during either Alicia Zhou or Malea Milton on floor but saw both routines and was impressed by both! Zhou went 12.800, Milton went 12.750.

Ella Kate Parker VT: Yurchenko full, 12.600

1:52 pm. Jayla Hang UB: Stalder to Ricna, short handstand before the clean Pak, toe-on to Ray, a little close on the catch, toe full, very close to being there, double layout with leg separation and a step. 12.700

1:51 pm. Tiana Sumanasekera BB: Feed jumped in at the switch ring, good side aerial, big bobble on the ring jump, switch half with a slight check as well, double pike with a small step forward. 13.350

1:49 pm. Norah Christian BB: Got the jump series to bhs loso today! Love that for her. Punch front, almost connects to straddle jump but it’s a bit slow. Switch to switch half, a little short in the hip rotation on the latter. Side somi is good. Double back dismount, nice work! 12.300

Just got a replay of some of the WOGA vaults, Avery King had a stumble back on her Yurchenko 1.5, Claire Pease landed her DTY really short with a big step to the side OOB. Sage Bradford’s score came in at a 0.000 so I’m not sure if she scratched or sat it, she’s not listed as a scratch for her other events.

1:48 pm. Gabrielle Hardie UB: Maloney (some leg separation) to Pak, toe-on, tried to connect to a van Leeuwen, but misses her feet on the bar, tries it again and gets the connection but doesn’t catch the van Leeuwen, slips off. I think the people editing on the fly for the stream thought that was her dismount because they went to the next routine lol? Okay, we’re back. Stalder on the high bar, arches over, blind full, double layout, buckled with a hop.

This has been a ROUGH bars group today and it’s some of my favorite junior U.S. bar workers??? Simone Rose only went 11.850.

1:47 pm. Nicole Desmond FX: Lunge back on the tucked full-in. Popa was strong. Double layout with some leg separation and a hop. Switch full. Switch ring to tour jeté half with a little bobble. Front tuck through to double tuck with a step back, toes maybe went OOB? Good work!

1:46 pm. Myli Lew UB: Stalder full was lovely, I think she had a rough routine night one? Maloney to Pak was so pretty, toe point! Chow to Gienger was nice, good handstand before the toe half to piked Jaeger, ugh falls over in the wrong direction out of handstand. Casts back before her giants, and then comes off short on the double layout and puts her hands down. 11.700

1:44 pm. Zoey Molomo BB: Front aerial, 2.5 with a hop to the side, that’s all we got on the stream. 12.700

1:42 pm. Payton Chandler BB: Hit a clean flight series, side aerial, lovely jump series to back tuck, good double tuck dismount. 13.050

Kelise Woolford FX: Saw it from the front layout to front pike, really nice switch ring to switch half, I think she did that right to a Popa maybe? 1.5 at the end had some leg form issues in the air and was a little short on the landing. 12.550

1:41 pm. Madray Johnson VT: Yurchenko 1.5, looked really sharp in the air! Big step over, though. OOB. 13.600

Before her…

Avery King VT: Yurchenko 1.5, 13.200

Ella Murphy VT: Yurchenko full, 13.100

Hezly Rivera VT: Went for the Yurchenko double today, 13.750

Claire Pease VT: Yurchenko double, 13.350

1:40 pm. Audrey Snyder FX: Wasn’t typing during this but she hit everything I saw. 12.500

Lacie Saltzmann BB: Saw the side aerial, she then ran forward for her dismount and balked the roundoff, went back and did it a second time, double back. 12.750

1:38 pm. Kieryn Finnell UB: Toe-on to Maloney, ugh, pings off. Back on and gets the toe-on to Maloney to Pak to stalder, arches over and comes off again. Back on for stalder to van Leeuwen, blind change to straddle Jaeger, hit the dismount. Sad about this not going as well as she’s capable of doing it! 10.500

1:37 pm. Izzy Stassi UB: Weiler half, Maloney to clear hip toe Ray to Pak, nice, some leg form on some elements, van Leeuwen, bigger leg separation there, blind full, double layout with leg separation and a hop. 12.750

1:35 pm. Christiane Popovich FX: Double pike with a lunge back. Double L turn. Switch ring. Front layout front full with a hop forward. I think I saw but didn’t write down her second pass and therefore it is lost to my brain. Finishes with a 2.5 with a step forward. 12.100

1:33 pm. Or maybe not. Still a big crowd at vault but that always takes the longest for everyone to get their ish together.

1:32 pm. Okay, should be heading into competition stuff now!

1:28 pm. WOGA will start on vault here, on bars it’s Van Frayen, Stassi, Finnell, Rose, Lew, Hardie, and Hang, beam is Chandler, Saltzmann, Molomo, Christian, Sumanasekera, Caylor, and Pineda, and on floor it’s Popovich, Snyder, Woolford, Desmond, Zhou, and Milton.

1:25 pm. National anthem just wrapped up, so we should be heading to the touch any moment now!

  1. I went back and watched some of Tiana’s bar routines and she has very clean work but very low difficulty. Soft in low back on some elements but great toe point and extension (from what I saw). Wonder if she has fear of the apparatus or not a great bar swinger? Or maybe she is just like Chuso and hates bars.

    • Her form is gorgeous (as it is in everything she does) but her swing is very labored and her routine just doesn’t ‘flow’. It makes me so sad because if she could develop a good swing she’d be a stunning bars worker to watch even if her difficulty isn’t very high.

  2. Does anyone know what happened to Ella Kate Parker. She finished dead last!! I hope she isn’t injured. She won Winter Cup twice.

    • She had lots of falls and mistakes here. Likely going to happen as WOGA tries to fix all the bad habits and execution she learned at CGA.
