The top 10 will qualify to nationals!

10:11 pm. Jazlene Pickens FX: Big full-in for her first pass, goes OOB though. Front tuck through to double tuck, big bounce back. Low back legs on her leaps. Hit the last pass. 11.100 (4.8 D)

Tatum Drusch UB: Great routine! Wasn’t typing but she hit everything including a double layout dismount. 13.050 (5.2 D)

Sorry, I’ve been ignoring beam this rotation, I keep missing when they start!

10:08 pm. Camie Westerman FX: Hit the first pass. 1.5 to front full also hit. Fun routine! 12.200 (4.8 D)

Kieryn Finnell BB: Bhs loso loso, leg up on the end of the series but controlled it well. Hit a front aerial to split jump to Korbut. Hit the dismount. Lovely work! 13.600 (5.5 D)

Sophia Buechler UB: Didn’t see most of this but again jumped in right as she had a HARD fall, onto her back. Looks okay though, and finishes the routine. 10.450 (4.9 D)

10:04 pm. Carly Weinberg FX: Double pike, good! Stumbled out of the second pass. Overall such a fun routine! 12.000 (4.7 D)

Ella Kate Parker UB: I missed a lot of this but she had the most TERRIFYING slip off of the high bar right before her giant? And landed basically on her head/neck. So that’s cool. She got up and looks okay but lord almighty.

10:03 pm. Addy Fulcher VT: Yurchenko full, big bounce back.

10:00 pm. Claire Pease VT: Yurchenko double, kind of rough tbh, but gets it around with a bit of a weak landing. Does a clean but deep Yurchenko full for her second vault.

Reese Esponda BB: Hit a wolf turn and then a standing full! Stepped back out of it but nice. Side aerial to layout stepout. Double tuck dismount. She has killed it today. 13.050 (5.4 D)

9:58 pm. Ally Damelio UB: Shaposh to big Pak, stalder to another shaposh (I missed the entry on both) to Gienger, nice! Blind full, blind change to double front, stuck! Oh YES! 13.850 (5.6 D)!

9:57 pm. Cambry Haynes FX: Arabian double front, really strong! 1.5 to front full is good. Front layout to front double full, steps a couple of times but good work overall! 11.650 (4.1 D)

Maliha Tressel VT: Strong Yurchenko full, step back.

9:56 pm. Sage Bradford VT: Really nice Yurchenko full! 13.200 (4.2 D)

9:55 pm. Nicole Desmond BB: Bhs loso loso, chest is a little low but that’s being picky, it was solid. Double tuck dismount. 12.700 (5.0 D)

Payton Chandler UB: Hit routine, just a front layout dismount though. 11.600 (3.9 D)

9:53 pm. Tyler Turner FX: Just a layout for her first pass. Hit the second pass. Absolutely love her choreo. Clean double wolf turn. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Goes REALLY slow in her run into the last pass, a double tuck, ends up short and puts her hands down. Ughhhh, nooooo! 11.500 (4.3 D)

Lacie Saltzmann VT: Yurchenko layout/pike I think. A little ambiguous. Vaults a second time with a handspring front tuck, better! Just a hop forward.

9:52 pm. Isabella Anzola VT: Yurchenko full was huuuuuge, got so much distance! 12.800 (4.2 D)

Charleigh Bullock UB: Hit everything at the beginning but then arched over a handstand on the low bar and came off. High full-in dismount. 11.850 (5.1 D)

9:50 pm. Catherine Guy FX: Double tuck, bounce back. 2.5, some leg form and a hop forward. 11.750 (4.5 D)

Ly Bui BB: Gets the bhs loso, switch leap to straddle jump, oof, stumble on a back acro skill, looked like a hard fall. Hit a split jump to wolf jump after, side aerial, double full dismount. 11.350 (4.5 D)

9:47 pm. Rotation 3 Standings

1. Kieryn Finnell 39.250
2. Claire Pease 39.200
3. Tatum Drusch 39.150
4. Reese Esponda 38.750
5. Isabella Anzola 38.550
6. Maliha Tressel 38.400
7. Tyler Turner 38.300
8. Payton Chandler 37.850

9:42 pm. Carly Weinberg BB: Bhs loso loso, bent legs but solid! Side aerial, big break at the hips but fights through it. Front aerial, straddle to Korbut, double wolf turn, switch leap, gets the double full dismount! Little things throughout but a GREAT hit for her. 11.650 (4.4 D)

9:39 pm. Cora Burke BB: Solid flight series. Unfortunately split the beam and fell on a switch leap, looked like she went REALLY big on it but couldn’t really spot the landing. Good recovery on the side aerial. 10.350 (4.6 D)

Claire Pease FX: 1.5 to front double full. Tucked full-in. Solid on both. 2.5 with a step forward. REALLY low double pike at the end but stands up out of it. 12.100 (5.1 D)

9:36 pm. Maliha Tressel FX: Double wolf turn. Tucked full-in, step back. Has a lot of fun dance. 1.5 through to double full, lots of leg form in there. Switch half. Front tuck through to double tuck, deep but solid. Great work! 12.850 (5.0 D)

9:34 pm. Cambry Haynes BB: Ooh, gets the triple flight series! Strong side aerial. Front aerial, sissone to Onodi, get it queen! Some knee form throughout, just needs to tighten up her legs. Switch leap, misses the connection to the wolf jump. Front layout full dismount, nearly stuck. 11.900 (4.4 D)

9:33 pm. Kieryn Finnell UB: Toe full to Maloney to Pak, nice! Van Leeuwen, slight ankle form, blind change to huge straddle Jaeger, stalder, bent elbows there, full-in dismount, great landing. 13.650 (5.3 D)

9:32 pm. Sage Bradford FX: Whip whip to double tuck, nice! Hit the second pass, I think that was the combo twisting pass. Double pike, good landing. 12.900 (4.8 D)

9:30 pm. Tyler Turner BB: Love her roll at the beginning. Side aerial, big wobble but brings it back under control. Good bhs loso. Swtich to split jump, misses the connection to the next jump and falls after. My feed froze and I missed the rest. 11.650 (4.9 D)

Lavi Crain UB: Inbar to Pak, lovely. Toe full, toe shoot, my feed froze and I missed the rest. 10.450 (4.0 D)

9:29 pm. Lacie Saltzmann FX: Bounce back out of the double pike. Switch ring to switch full. Front tuck through to layout full, good. Split jump full. Strong double tuck. Great comeback after beam! 12.250 (4.5 D)

Ella Kate Parker VT: She put a Yurchenko full to her hands in the touch. Gets it around this time, a bit short and iffy in the air but great to see that hit. 12.500 (4.2 D)

9:28 pm. Reese Esponda UB: Solid Pak and van Leeuwen. Blind change to straddle Jaeger. High full-in dismount but landed with her chest a bit low. 12.850 (5.3 D)

Trinity Wood VT: Decent Yurchenko full! 12.700 (4.2 D)

9:27 pm. Catherine Guy BB: Hit the beginning but off on the side aerial about halfway through. Double full dismount. 11.550 (5.2 D)

Ally Damelio VT: Yurchenko full, almost looked like she didn’t touch the table, but had a nice landing. 12.550 (4.2 D)

9:25 pm. Isabella Anzola FX: Full-in to start, good! Strong double tuck. I missed her third pass, either a 1.5 or 2.5 to front tuck? Double pike at the end, great! 12.600 (5.3 D)

Nicole Desmond UB: Ricna, toe full (legs), Pak (legs apart), toe shoot, blind change to front giant half, and a double tuck dismount with a step. 11.900 (4.6 D)

9:23 pm. Jazlene Pickens BB: Bhs loso, knees are a bit bent on both. Pretty short in her jumps as well. Off on her side somi. 1.5 dismount, hit. 10.750 (4.4 D)

Charleigh Bullock VT: Decent Yurchenko full with a step back. 12.950 (4.2 D)

9:20 pm. Tatum Drusch VT: Powerful Yurchenko full, step back. Also did a Yurchenko 1.5, looked really strong!

Ayla Miller FX: Double pike, good landing, tiny bounce. 1.5 to front full. 12.400 (4.9 D)

Ly Bui UB: Caught the straddle Jaeger, nice Pak, toe shoot, stalder…1.5? Looked like she arched over a full and did an extra half turn by accident? Or maybe it was intentional? Love that for her. Her coach looked shocked so I’m thinking accident. Hit the dismount. 11.900 (4.5 D)

9:17 pm. Addy Fulcher FX: Double tuck, bounce back. Switch ring to tour jeté half, nice. Front layout to front full. Think she finished with a 2.5. Lots of good work in here! 12.250 (4.6 D)

Camie Westerman BB: Off on her side aerial, the first skill. Bummer! Double spin, nice! Hit the dismount.

Sophia Buechler VT: Tsuk tuck full, legs were all over the place but she got the landing. 12.350 (4.2 D)

9:13 pm. Rotation 2 Standings

1. Claire Pease 27.100
2. Tyler Turner 26.650
3. Camie Westerman 26.100
4. Isabella Anzola 25.950
5. Reese Esponda 25.900
6. Tatum Drusch 25.650
7. Kieryn Finnell 25.600
8. Maliha Tressel 25.550

9:11 pm. Sage Bradford BB: There’s a terrible kid-sung version of “We Are Family” playing in the background. If I were on beam with this playing I’d stage a protest. She’s doing well so far. Just hit a front aerial, split jump to sissone, slight knee form on both. Side aerial with a break at the hips but a good correction. Switch leap. 1.5 dismount. 11.850

9:08 pm. Ally Damelio FX: Lovely triple full to start. Memmel turn, stumbled it around and back. 1.5 to front full with a slight stumble. Switch ring, no ring shape there, to tour jeté half, hopped it around. The first tuck in her double back rotated SO slowly I thought she was ending with just a back tuck, shockingly got the second one around. 12.000 (5.0 D)

9:05 pm. Lacie Saltzmann BB: Looking forward to this! Double wolf turn, back tuck, front handspring front tuck, stumbles a bit and then falls. Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump. Off again on something after that. Big wobble on a side straight jump full. Just throws a timer dismount, looked a bit rattled after the first fall sadly. 10.650 (4.8 D)

9:03 pm. Payton Chandler FX: Double pike to start, a little short. Hit a combo twisting pass after that. Some nice leap work. Low set into her double tuck but gets it around. 12.400 (4.8 D)

9:02 pm. Isabella Anzola BB: I sadly missed most of this but her jumps were FANTASTIC, I think she connected four of them. Double pike dismount! 13.650 (5.4 D)!

8:58 pm. Charleigh Bullock FX: Her music is Nicki Minaj and Kelis so far, I’m laughing so hard I can barely watch her tumbling and missed the details of the first two passes, she’s like a teeny wee one and this music is just so funny to see her perform to. She hit her first two passes. Also had a nice 2.5 at the end before a death drop. I’m dying, this was hilarious and perfect. 11.950 (4.7 D)

Cambry Haynes UB: Arched over on her first handstand but corrected into the Maloney to Pak, nice. Toe full, a little short, missed the toe-on for the van Leeuwen, did it again and it was the best van Leeuwen of the day I think, blind change to front giant to double front, hop. 12.150 (4.4 D)

8:57 pm. Ayla Miller BB: Missed the beginning, had a big wobble on her front aerial but a nice save. Some leg form in the jumps, looked like a 1.5 dismount. 11.450 (4.7 D)

8:54 pm. Tatum Drusch FX: Double pike, good landing and pretty nice shape in the air. Double L turn. Front double full, nice! 1.5 to front full, some leg form there. 2.5, lands with her feet together, just some twisting form in the air, but she’s pretty powerful. Switch leap to switch full. 12.550 (4.9 D)

Tyler Turner UB: Had a stalder Tkachev, hit everything else I saw, double layout dismount, a little buckled in the knees with a hop forward. Nice work overall! 13.550 (5.5 D)

8:53 pm. Catherine Guy UB: Looked like she had a mishap at the start, corrected quickly into a Pak, blind full went a little slowly, double pike, good landing. 10.950 (4.3 D)

8:52 pm. Ugh, NOOOO, I missed Claire Pease on beam and she got a 13.650 (5.4, 8.250)!!!

Also missed Sophia Buechler on floor – 10.650 (4.7 D)

Addy Fulcher BB: Off on her bhs loso, had kind of bent knees throughout. Switch leap was nice. 11.800 (4.6 D)

Lavi Crain VT: Yurchenko full, technique was a bit bizarre, kind of whipped it around. 12.850 (4.2 D)

8:49 pm. Nicole Desmond VT: Yurchenko 1.5, pushes forward on the landing, has a step but that was pretty solid if not perfect! I think she may have balked it on the first run, though, I thought I saw her just kind of doing a timer.

8:48 pm. Camie Westerman UB: Pirouette to Maloney to bail to toe shoot, good transitions. Think she caught a release after that, then blind change to front half, double pike, pretty open, almost stuck from the looks of it. 13.100 (4.8 D)

Ly Bui VT: 13.100 (4.2 D)

8:47 pm. Ella Kate Parker FX: Hit the first two passes, a little short on a switch ring in her dance pass, not bad from what I saw but I missed the second half. 11.450 (5.0 D)

8:45 pm. Adele Ossi VT: Not super tight in her Yurchenko full but gets it around. 12.500 (4.2 D)

Carly Weinberg UB: Maloney to clear hip (leg form) to Tkachev, blind full with some leg separation and then on the Pak as well, arches over a bit on the next handstand, toe shoot, a little muscled out of it, and then it looks like a really open double pike for her dismount. Good fight throughout! 11.650 (4.6 D)

8:43 pm. Trinity Wood FX: Solid double pike. Really great landing on the second pass, a combo twisting pass. Great routine! 12.300 (4.6 D)

Maliha Tressel BB: Clean side aerial. Switch leap. I missed the rest. Sorry y’all, I’m awful at multitasking today.

Kieryn Finnell VT: Didn’t see it but I imagine a Yurchenko full. 13.200 (4.2 D)

8:41 pm. Rotation 1 Standings

1. Claire Pease 13.450
2. Cambry Haynes 13.300
3. Tyler Turner 13.100
– Tatum Drusch 13.100
5. Camie Westerman 13.000
– Reese Esponda 13.000
7. Jazlene Pickens 12.850
– Lacie Saltzman 12.850
– Charleigh Bullock 12.850

8:32 pm. Reese Esponda FX: Casual double double to start, took a step back OOB. Full-in. Double pike with pointed toes! Love. Finishes with a front tuck through to double tuck. OKAY? 13.000 (5.7 D)

Charleigh Bullock BB: Didn’t see a ton of this but saw she hit the bhs loso series and a 2.5 dismount! 12.850 (5.1 D)

8:31 pm. Nicole Desmond FX: Full-twisting double layout, a little short and some leg form, lunges forward. Popa. Double layout, legs apart and she’s deep in the landing again, lunge forward. Front tuck through to double tuck, lunge back. 12.100 (5.4 D)

Tatum Drusch BB: Switch leap to sissone. Gets the bhs loso flight series. Hit the dismount. 13.100 (5.2 D)

Isabella Anzola UB: Straddle Jaeger, stalder to Pak, some leg separation, toe-on to toe shoot, hit the dismount. 12.300 (5.0 D)

8:29 pm. Ella Kate Parker BB: I missed this but scored a 12.65 (5.3 D).

Ayla Miller UB: Nice straddle Jaeger and a clean Pak! Van Leeuwen (legs, everyone’s struggling with that today), and a full-in (also some leg form but got the landing). 12.400 (4.8 D)

8:27 pm. Ly Bui FX: Hit the first couple of passes, 1.5 to front layout was pretty clean. Overall a nice routine. 11.350 (4.6 D)

I think while I was gone I missed Claire Pease on UB. She got a 13.450 (5.8 D)! Normally a weak event for her!

8:26 pm. Addy Fulcher UB: Hit some pirouettes on the low bar, including a stalder full, Maloney to Pak I think, van Leeuwen with slight leg form, and a deep full-in with a lunge forward. 12.300 (5.0 D)

8:25 pm. Sorry, had to run downstairs for a minute but I’m back!

8:19 pm. Maliha Tressel UB: Muscled through the blind full a bit, Pak with some leg separation, double tuck with some leg form and a step. Hit routine! 12.650 (5.0 D)

Jazlene Pickens VT: Yurchenko full, form isn’t quite there in the air, but gets the landing. 12.850 (4.2 D)

8:17 pm. Kieryn Finnell FX: Piked full-in to start, and then a double tuck, lunges back on both. Switch side half. Hit a twist for her third pass, I missed the entry, but the landing was good. Nice tour jeté. Double pike for her last pass. Lovely work throughout even with the tumbling not at 100%. 12.400 (5.2 D)

Carly WeinbergVT: Only saw the back half of this vault but looked like she went HUGE. Or had a bg bounce back. 12.800

8:16 pm. Cora Burke VT: Yurchenko full with a lunge back. 12.550 (4.2 D)

Ally Damelio BB: Layout stepout mount. Hit the acro series and then a mixed series, both pretty good. Also has solid splits. Hit the dismount. Good work!  12.500 (4.7 D)

Sage Bradford UB: UB: Blind change to straddle Jaeger. Toe full on the low bar went a little crooked, van Leeuwen with some leg form. Hit the dismount. 12.700 (4.7 D)

8:15 pm. Cambry Haynes VT: Yurchenko full, looked pretty solid. 13.300 (4.2 D)

8:14 pm. Lacie Saltzmann UB: Stalder full, Maloney, doesn’t connect to the toe-on to bail to Ray, blind change to front giant to big straddle Jaeger, double layout with a good landing.

8:12 pm. Lavi Crain FX: Second pass was a little iffy as was the double full at the end, twisting form is just a bit rushed on everything. 10.850 (4.1 D)

Payton Chandler BB: Saw most of this and it was a hit, with a double tuck dismount! 12.200 (4.8 D)

Vault is kinda hard to watch but I’ll do what I can.

Tyler Turner VT: Clean Yurchenko full, chest slightly forward, hop back. 13.100 (4.2 D)

8:11 pm. Literally can’t tell who’s who but we’ve officially started! For some athletes I’m gonna have to do the quick hit and then add the name after when the score comes in…

8:08 pm. Touch is underway! This is fun. Just spotted Fake Al Fong!

8:04 pm. No, the timed warmup is now over. Athletes are lining up for their first events so we should still have the touch coming. Probably after the national anthem as well. Everyone’s favorite.

8:02 pm. Video is back! Looks like maybe the touch is wrapping up. Also, the start list on the live results is in alphabetical order by first name instead of by competition order so this should be entertaining.

7:58 pm. I’m guessing the start time is actually 8 pm and they just said 7:45 pm because they hate me.

7:52 pm. Still getting a “competition will begin shortly” notice but we did see some training for a bit so hopefully it’ll be back soon.

7:38 pm. The competition should begin in about seven minutes!

As a reminder, this meet serves as a qualifier for national championships. Juniors need to earn an all-around score of 50.000 to move on. So far, only eight juniors have qualified – here’s the list of everyone who has, as well as everyone who still needs to get there. If they don’t make it happen today, the U.S. Classic in early August offers one final chance.

Live scores are available on MyUSAGym, and the event is streaming on FlipNow (subscription or pay-per-view purchase required).

Will be back shortly!
