– Jonas Rushworth, Great Britain, 12.966
8. Mamikon Khachatryan, Armenia, 12.800

(Apologies, Ivan Rudyi’s score hasn’t been posted anywhere yet but I’m going to assume he’s 9th because he’s not showing in the top 8 standings on the stream)

10:12 am. Sara Caputo ITA UB: Ricna, Pak, Chow, toe half, stalder half to front giant half, toe full, some leg form and a bit late, double pike, good landing. Honestly with of those stalders and toe-ons, I probably got the entries wrong on a couple because this angle made it hard for me to see, but she had a lot of them! 13.266

10:10 am. Ivan Rudyi UKR SR: Pike sit through to saltos to pike sit, arched over his first handstand SO FAR he basically bent in half backwards, also a significant arch on the next one, hit the full-in dismount.

10:09 am. Ellie Lewis GBR UB: Clear hip, blind full, blind change to straddle Jaeger, some softness in some of her lines at times but at other times she straightens up well, toe-on to toe shoot, double tuck, steps into the salute. 12.133

10:08 am. Jonas Rushworth GBR SR: Pike to pike sit, swings through to saltos to pike sit, every junior has the same exact rings routine. Presses to handstand. A little arched in the front giant to handstand, hit the dismount with a step. 12.966 (3.9, 9.066)

10:06 am. Angela Pennisi SUI UB: Blind change to big straddle Jaeger, some bent arms there, Pak, Maloney to Gienger, blind full was pretty late, high double tuck with a hop. Some good work in there! 12.433 (4.7, 7.733)

10:05 am. Diego Vazzola ITA SR: Saltos to pike sit were nice, presses to a solid handstand, got a little arched and then shaky in the front giant to handstand, but a great landing on the dismount. 13.166

10:04 am. Helen Kevric GER UB: They didn’t show the beginning, I hate this stream. Caught from the toe half to Jaeger, REALLY close to the bar, Pak, van Leeuwen with legs GLUED, and a stuck full-out dismount. 14.066

10:03 am. Yoan Ivanov BUL SR: Inverted pike, front pike to pike sit, then through to the piked and tucked saltos to straddle sit, nice on everything. Short in the handstands pressed out of the straddle, and then really muscles in the back giant to handstand. Double double is a little deep but stuck! 13.133 (4.1, 9.033)

10:02 am. Just finishing the touch for the second half!

9:59 am. Anthony Mansard FRA SR: Sorry, wasn’t typing, thought they were going to the touch warmup but I guess not? Everything I saw was done pretty well, including a nice double double dismount! Small hop back there. 13.033 (4.4, 8.633)

9:57 am. Ema Kandalova GBR UB: Maloney to Gienger, some leg separation and it’s REALLY low. Blind change to straddle Jaeger, nice height there. Toe-on, blind full, handstand positions could be better in both, bail to toe shoot, straight double full dismount, lands a bit short with a step. 12.100 (4.9, 7.200)

9:56 am. Tommaso Brugnami ITA SR: Pike sit, saltos to straddle sit, a little shaky in one of his handstands, and then arches and shakes a bit in the one right after, piked double front dismount, landed on his toes with a bit of a wobble. 13.233 (4.3, 8.933)

9:54 am. Benedetta Gava ITA UB: Maloney to Tkachev, short handstand before the bail to toe-on to clear hip to toe shoot, caught a bit close, muscled the handstand after but nearly got it straight, blind full, blind change to front giant half, double pike dismount with a hop forward. 12.433 (4.8, 7.633)

9:53 am. Cas Keser NED SR: Pike up to pike sit, inverted pike through to a swing into a handstand, a little shaky…saltos with an intermediate swing between them to straddle sit, presses to handstand, a little muscled and not as tight as it could be. Back giant to handstand is better. Full-in with a small step. 12.966 (4.2, 8.766)

9:51 am. Vanesa Masova CZE UB: Stalder full, a little short before the Chow half, inbar to stalder half to straddle Jaeger, Pak, van Leeuwen with some leg separation, and a tucked toe front half with a step back. Her lines are everything! 12.933 (5.2, 7.733)

9:50 am. Hamlet Manukyan SR: Had a nice pike sit before his saltos up to straddle sit, presses to handstand, very clean and solid. Front giant to handstand is also clean, then a back giant to handstand, and a full-in dismount with a little bounce. Great routine! 13.666 (4.4, 9.266)

9:49 am. Astria Nélo FRA UB: They keep cutting away from her and changing angles, I’m going to scream. Caught a Jaeger, toe-on to Pak, missed a toe-on on the low bar and had to come off. Hit the rest when she remounted, including a blind full and a full-out dismount, small hop. 11.833 (4.9, 6.933)

Mamikon Khachatryan ARM SR: I missed this entire thing aside from the dismount, which he hit. 12.800 (3.9, 8.900)

9:46 am. Touch warmups are just wrapping up.

Pommel Horse Final Standings

1. Mamikon Khachatryan, Armenia, 13.966
2. Serafeim Eminidis, Greece, 13.633
3. Dachi Dolidze, Georgia, 13.300
4. Hamlet Manukyan, Armenia, 13.233
5. Elias Breche, France, 12.933
6. David Ivanov, Bulgaria, 12.866
7. Alex Niscoveanu, Great Britain, 12.700
8. Jonas Rushworth, Great Britain, 12.233

9:24 am. Sorry about the lack of scores, Elevien gave up on WAG lol.

9:21 am. Gabriela Vanoaga ROU VT: Yurchenko full, big leg split onto the table and leg form off the table, landing could also be tighter. 12.833

Second vault is a tucked Yurchenko full, also some form issues throughout, but not as severe as in the first. Hop back on the landing. 12.366

12.599 average

9:19 am. Vanesa Masova CZE VT: Really nice Yurchenko full, just takes a big step back. 13.400!

Strong Yurchenko layout! 12.800

13.100 average, puts her in third place!

9:16 am. David Ivanov BUL PH: His routine was excellent in quals. Scissors to handstand and then down into his circles, gets a bit stuck in the Busnari and it takes him a second to get into the flairs, but he gets there eventually. Flair work starts to deteriorate near the end, though…he loses leg form and then loses his rhythm before coming off. 12.866

9:13 am. Jemima Taylor GBR VT: Yurchenko full, form isn’t quite there in the air and she has a really deep landing that she has to bounce out of. 12.300 (4.2, 8.200, -0.1)

Yurchenko layout is much better, still a bit forward on the landing though, and she takes a step forward. 11.833 (3.2, 8.633)

12.066 average

9:11 am. Elias Breche FRA PH: Can’t really see the beginning from across the arena, but when we jump in he’s doing good work until one single pommel skill where he loses his leg form, good recovery though, he works so slowly and steadily, lovely work getting into the dismount. 12.933 (4.6, 8.333)

9:10 am. Ema Kandalova GBR VT: Really strong Yurchenko full! Clean in the air and a small hop on the landing. 13.200 (4.2, 9.000)

Yurchenko layout, flares it, but ends up a little short, bends forward on the landing and takes a step forward.

9:08 am. Hamlet Manukyan ARM PH: Scissors through to circles, NOOOO, bends his legs while doing the Russians on the single pommel and has to come off. DEVASTATED. Is great after remounting, super fast Russians between the pommels, travels well, more Russians at the end of the horse, and no problems with the dismount. 13.233 (5.5, 7.733)

9:04 am. Benedetta Gava ITA VT: A little iffy in her DTY, lands short, and then puts her hands down. Noooo! 12.733 (5.0, 7.733)

Yurchenko full for the second, better on the landing, just a small hop back. 13.200 (4.2, 9.000)

12.966 average

9:01 am. Dachi Dolidze GEO PH: Scissors to circles, a little tentative but no big issues. Single pommel Russians, opens up for a flare up to handstand for a Busnari, then back down into flairs, awesome. Oh no, made it to handstand for the dismount but then his arms kind of gave out and he had to rush it around. Ughhhh!!! 13.300

8:58 am. Finishing up the touch for the second half of the pommels competition!

8:56 am. Leire Escauriaza ESP VT: Yurchenko full, a little soft in the air, but landed well. 13.100 (4.2, 8.900)

Yurchenko layout for the second vault, just a small hop to the side. 12.700 (3.6, 9.100)

12.900 average

8:55 am. Serafeim Eminidis GRE PH: Sorry, I keep missing the beginning of pommel as I’m wrapping up talking about vault, this was a hit routine and looked excellent from what I saw, but I couldn’t type fast enough to get details. 13.633 (4.6, 9.033)

8:52 am. Sara Caputo ITA VT: Yurchenko double full, just some knee bend/twisted legs as she gets closer to the landing, but her landing is excellent! 14.033 (5.0, 9.033)

Second vault is a pretty clean Yurchenko full, small hop, but not as severe as Kevric’s. With their first vaults tying, I think Caputo can get ahead based on the second? 13.366 (4.2, 9.166)

13.699 average, puts her ahead of Kevric by 0.016!!

8:50 am. Jonas Rushworth GBR PH: Wasn’t typing during this, but an overall good routine until he got kind of stuck on a transition at the end and had to come off. Got back on basically just for a few circles into the dismount. 12.233 (4.6, 7.633)

8:48 am. Helen Kevric GER VT: Yurchenko double full, veers a little to her right off the table and she has a big hop back, but overall it’s a solid attempt and she showed a good amount of power. 14.033 (5.0, 9.033)

Yurchenko full is very similar, maybe even a little further to the right off the table, and a hop there as well, but powerful and clean. 13.333 (4.2, 9.133)

13.683 average

8:47 am. Mamikon Khachatryan ARM PH: Scissors to circles, one-arm circle, then circles on the single pommel, more one-arm work, his hips could be straighter but overall he’s doing tricky transitions very well. Travels in circles, Russians at the end, beautiful transition into the dismount, he’s SO good. 13.966 (5.4, 8.566)

8:45 am. Kea Walser SUI VT: Does a Yurchenko full for her first vault, the camera is still panned all the way out with the arena wide shot, so couldn’t really see details, but looked like she was just a little short on the landing, step forward. 13.100 (4.2, 8.900)

Yurchenko layout for her second vault, went a bit crooked off the table so she landed off to the side, and she had two big hops back. 12.466 (3.6, 8.866)

12.783 average

8:43 am. Alex Niscoveanu GBR PH: Love that his floor final was 25 minutes ago exactly. I guess a good thing that they wasted time with a medal ceremony in that case, hehe. Scissors to single pommel work, good transitions, travels in Russians, then stays in Russians at the end of the horse, travels again in circles, but his legs get stuck on the horse and he ends up sitting before hopping off, ugh, so close to the end. Back on to continue with circles, into the handstand for the dismount. 12.700 (5.2, 7.500)

The stream thought he had finished when he fell and stopped showing his routine lmaoooo. Thankfully you could see it in the back of the wide shot of the arena…

8:39 am. Here’s the start list for vault!

Kea Walser (Switzerland)
Helen Kevric (Germany)
Sara Caputo (Italy)
Leire Escauriaza (Spain)
Benedetta Gava (Italy)
Ema Kandalova (Great Britain)
Jemima Taylor (Great Britain)
Vanesa Masova (Czechia)
Gabriela Vanoaga (Romania)

And for pommel horse!

Alex Niscoveanu (Great Britain)
Mamikon Khachatryan (Armenia)
Jonas Rushworth (Great Britain)
Serafeim Eminidis (Greece)
Dachi Dolidze (Georgia)
Hamlet Manukyan (Armenia)
Elias Breche (France)
David Ivanov (Bulgaria)

8:37 am. Well, that went pretty quickly at least. It looks like they’ll be doing pommel horse and women’s vault at the same time, just waiting for athletes to come out.

8:30 am. Yup, waiting for the medal ceremony. Organizers, WHY?!?! I guess I’ll be back in 15-20 ish minutes. I’ll post on Twitter when the next event is ready to go so you don’t have to keep refreshing here.

8:28 am. Getting ready for either the next athletes to march out or for the medal ceremony? Stop doing medal ceremonies in between events and just save them all for the end!!! It literally wastes a full hour with all of the stopping and starting combined.

8:25 am. Men’s Floor Final Standings

1. Tommaso Brugnami, Italy, 13.833
2. Anthony Mansard, France, 13.533
3. Robert Gyulumyan, Armenia, 13.066
4. Oliver Lewandowski, Sweden, 12.933
5. Elias Breche, France, 12.700
– Aaron Enser, Netherlands, 12.700
7. Carlo Riesco, Switzerland, 12.666
8. Alex Niscoveanu, Great Britain, 12.600

8:22 am. Carlo Riesco SUI FX: Full-in to start, small hop back. Front double full, bit of a bobble on that landing. 2.5 to front layout, lands it REALLY deep but stands up out of it. Clean and stuck layout down the side. Front layout full. Finishes with a clean, stuck double full. Really just that third pass that’ll get him, otherwise I think he would have medaled. 12.666 (4.5, 8.166)

8:18 am. Alex Niscoveanu GBR FX: Punches into a randi at the start but lands a bit short. Front double full to barani was better. I think a double tuck after that, the camera zoomed in so close, I couldn’t really see. 2.5 to front tuck, little hop forward. Triple full, some form and a hop to the side. Finishes with a solid double full, just a small hop. Long wait for his score… 12.600 (4.7, 7.900)

8:15 am. Anthony Mansard FRA FX: Double double, nearly stuck, the tiniest bobble. Punches into a rudi for the next pass. I believe an arabian double front half after that, which was landed well. Double full down the side, nice. 2.5 to front layout, a little low and long but no problems getting it around. Stuck the triple full at the end with just a little wobble in his arms. 13.533 (4.8, 8.733)

8:12 am. Oliver Lewandowski SWE FX: Good double front, front double full to front layout, 2.5, layout down the side, and a clean double full at the end. Good routine with no major deductions! 12.933 (4.3, 8.633)

8:09 am. Tommaso Brugnami ITA FX: Excellent double double. Punches into a randi after, good landing. I think a 2.5 to front layout for his next pass, then a double full down the length. He’s looking great. Triple full to finish, another strong landing. Fab routine once again. 13.833 (5.0, 8.833)

8:06 am. Robert Gyulumyan ARM FX: Punch rudi to start. Good landing. 2.5 to barani, goes low and long on the latter and lands with a foot OOB. Triple full, solid and stuck. Loooovely layout down the side. Beautiful double tuck, just a little short on the landing with a hop forward. Double full to finish is strong. 13.066 (4.3, 8.866, -0.1)

8:03 am. Aaron Enser NED FX: 1.5 to front full, lovely. 2.5 to front layout, a little arched, a little hop forward. Double tuck, a little unsure on the landing. Layout full side pass, stuck with his feet apart. Triple full at the end, little bobbles but gets it around! 12.700 (4.4, 8.300)

8:01 am. Elias Breche FRA FX: Triple full, hop back. 2.5 to front layout, a little arched in the latter but gets it over. Stuck the double tuck. Clean double full down the length of the floor. Rudi at the end, small hop. Good work! 12.700 (4.5, 8.300, -0.1)

7:59 am. It looks like Aaron Enser (Netherlands) will go in for Vincent Lindpointner.

7:55 am. Good morning! Kicking off today’s event finals with MAG on floor. Here’s the start list:

Elias Breche (France)
Vincent Lindpointner (Austria)
Robert Gyulumyan (Armenia)
Tommaso Brugnami (Italy)

Anthony Mansard (France)
Alex Niscoveanu (Great Britain)
Carlo Riesco (Switzerland)
