  2. It’s nice to see Katelyn Jong right up there with the contenders in 6th. She’s got some great skills and if she cleans up more, she would be someone to watch in the future.

    • Yes, that was a big surprise! I figured top 10 would be possible, but not top 6 in this field. I think with so many falls from others it kind of opened up the gates. Like Addison Fatta wasn’t also someone I predicted for top 8 but she was pretty high up there until she had falls in the last couple of rotations IIRC, and there were a few others like that where they were just going back and forth in and out of the top 6-10 or so. It’s so fun having everyone being kind of close outside of the top 3-4!

    • The camp will be Sep 18-21, and yes, the two competition days will be streamed! I think they do their competition on the 19th and 20th, and then the team is named the following day.

        • Thanks so much Lauren. So to bug you just a little, on the flipnow, you are correct it does offer renting. So are both days full competitions? Or is one day a full competition, and the second, like gymnasts re-doing events they may have had issues on? Dont want to rent the wrong day, etc.

        • If they do it like they’ve done in the past, the first day will be a full all-around competition, and then gymnasts can pick 1-2 events for the second day, which is more relaxed and just a way for gymnasts to show anything else they’d like to show the selection committee. I’d go with the first day!
