Ends up short and has to run out of it but saves a fall. 2.5 to front tuck, legs are a bit wild and so is her landing. Switch to switch half. Good on the front full in her third pass. Double tuck, set is really low and she lands really low, but gets it around. 11.600 (5.1, 6.600, -0.1)

11:13 am. Mai Liu Hsiang-Han TWN FX: Love the drama at the start of her routine. Think she went for a quad turn! Ended up losing control in the final rotation but still love it. Double tuck from a roundoff, a little low with a hop. 1.5 to front tuck. 1.5 with some leg form. Switch to tour jeté. She’s so lovely. 12.133 (4.9, 7.233)
11:10 am. Luis Il-Sung Melander SWE SR: Maltese, legs a little lower than his hips. Inverted pike immediately pressed out to maltese, that was cool. Through to iron cross. Saltos to iron cross. Front giant to handstand, a little arched, back giant to handstand ends up a little short, and a double double dismount, whips it around and ends up a bit low on the landing with a big hop. 13.400 (5.5, 7.900)
11:08 am. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR FX: Beautiful split jump full at the beginning. Her extension is SO nice on everything. Double tuck, good landing. Split ring leap to switch half, some form on the ring. 1.5 to front full, little adjustment on the landing. Switch ring. Some lack of control on the Memmel turn. 2.5 with a step forward but it was really nice in the air. GREAT routine overall. 13.000 (4.9, 8.100)
11:06 am. Balazs Kiss HUN SR: Inverted hang through to maltese, nice position. Another maltese, then swings through to planche, body line isn’t quite there. 11:02 am. Aida Bauyrzhanova KAZ FX: Memmel turn, could be a little cleaner when it finishes. 1.5 to front layout, good landing. She walked into that, love that for her. Tour jeté. Just a roundoff into the double pike but doesn’t get the set she needs and puts her hands down. Wild in the double wolf turn. Split jump full. Switch leap, bent back knee, to switch half. 11.667 (4.6, 7.067)
11:00 am. Igor Radivilov UKR SR: Swings through to maltese then opens out into an iron cross. Inverted hang with a front giant to inverted cross. Front giant to handstand, then into his saltos, planche, legs a bit lower than his hips, back giant to handstand, and a double double dismount, twists a bit slow, chest slightly down, but doesn’t move his feet at all. 14.200 (6.0, 8.200)
10:58 am. Bengisu Yildiz TUR FX: Double wolf turn. Double pike, a little deep in the landing, hop back. Nice Memmel turn. 1.5 to front full, some leg form and a hop to the side. Switch leap to tour jeté half. Good double full to finish. 12.833 (4.8, 8.033)
10:56 am. Nikita Simonov AZE SR: Maltese pressed up to planche, love. Swings through to maltese. Inverted hang to giant to inverted cross, nice. Saltos to maltese. Inverted hang, through to planche, maybe could have held it a half second longer. Back giant to handstand, clean. Full-twisting double layout, maybe a little low coming off the rings which causes him to pike a little, but gets the landing. 14.900 (6.2, 8.700)
10:54 am. Nikolett Szilagyi HUN FX: Triple wolf turn, awesome control. 2.5, comes out of it a bit rushed and has to take a little run forward. Front handspring front full, clean and solid. Lovely leap pass. Clean double pike, chest forward but feet almost don’t move. Hop L turn, Popa. Lovely work again after winning a beam medal. 12.400 (4.7, 7.700)
10:52 am. Mehmet Kosak SR: Inverted cross, really nice. Swings through to planche and presses down to maltese. Great! Inverted hang to inverted pike through to the saltos to maltese, took him a second to get there. Iron cross. Inverted pike to front giant to handstand, back giant to handstand, and then a double double dismount, some form in the air but a really strong landing! 14.450 (6.0, 8.450)
10:50 am. Lucija Hribar SLO FX: Double full to start. Switch ring to split ring leap half, lacks some control in the air and on the landing. Double pike rotated a bit slowly, ends up with her chest forward and a step. Tour jeté, a little short. 12.400 (4.5, 7.900)
10:48 am. Yunus Gündogdu TUR SR: Planche to maltese, swings through to iron cross, inverted hang through to saltos to maltese, nice position there. Inverted hang to front pike to iron cross, inverted hang to front giant to handstand, muscles it slightly, back giant to handstand, better getting to handstand, there, and a piked double front with a small hop. Great routine! 14.000 (5.8, 8.200)

10:39 am. Bozhidar Zlatanov BUL VT: Kaz 1.5. Twisted so fast, really strong. 14.500 (5.2, 9.300)
Yurchenko double for the second vault, not as nice as the first, but still good! Looked like a hop OOB. 13.600 (4.8, 9.100, -0.3)
Averages a 14.050.
10:37 am. Angel Wong Hiu Ying HKG BB: Punch front mount, tiny adjustment. Front handspring to back tuck, a little wobbly. Side aerial to split jump to straddle jump, the first jump looked a little bit short. Switch half, a little low. Side somi, also a little low with a check. Switch to split jump half, nice connection, second jump is – you guessed it – a little low. Front full dismount, tiny hop. 12.467 (5.1, 7.367)
10:35 am. Benedek Tomcsanyi HUN VT: Didn’t see what his first vault was but he had some form in the air and a hop back.
Second vault is a kaz full. A bit cleaner than the first.
Averages a 13.475.
10:32 am. Lucija Hribar SLO BB: Nice on the side aerial to back handspring, but was a bit all over the place on a switch ring after. Good side somi. Front aerial, tiny check at the hips. Split jump to sissone, some floppy feet. Switch leap. Front layout dismount with a good landing. 12.100 (4.7, 7.400)
10:30 am. Tseng Wei-Sheng TWN VT: Handspring…oof. Well, he was going for a double front half, twisted earlier than most do on this vault, and looked like he was almost lost in the air, ended up crashing hard to his head and crushing his ankle, ends up needing help off the podium.
10:28 am. Anna Lashchevska UKR BB: Front handspring front tuck, great! Switch ring, good landing. Switch leap to sissone. Full turn is clean. Swithc half to back handspring, the back foot on the leap was fully turned in and flexed. Front aerial, side aerial, hit the 2.5 dismount really well. 13.767 (5.7, 8.067)
10:26 am. Krisztofer Meszaros HUN VT: Handspring front double full, lovely in the air, super flared on the landing, step to the side OOB and a little off the mat.
Second vault is a Kaz full, really clean in the air again, just a tiny movement of his feet on the landing.
Averages a 13.750.
10:21 am. Mai Liu Hsiang-Han TWN BB: Punch front mount is solid. Cross wolf jump full, LOVE!!! Side aerial to Korbut, a little sketchy in the form and thought she was going to miss for a second but she gets it around. Side somi. Hit another jump from the side position and then a strong jump series and full turn, good landing on the gainer full. 12.333 (4.9, 7.433)
10:20 am. Abdulaziz Mirvaliev UZB VT: Didn’t see his first vault? 14.800 (5.6, 9.300, -0.1)
Piked handspring double front for the second, looked strong in the air but steps forward/to the side on the landing and has to finish off the mat. 14.150 (5.6, 8.850, -0.3)
Averages a 14.475.
10:17 am. Rose Woo CAN BB: Bhs back pike, some leg separation but solid. Switch ring, wobbles there but quickly gets it back. Solid side aerial. Front aerial to split jump to tuck jump half, nice series. Side somi, cross split jump half, lovely extension. Full turn is clean and confident. Switch half, nicely done. Double full, some ankle form, small hop back. 13.167 (5.3, 7.867)
10:14 am. Kevin Penev BUL VT: Kaz 1.5, small step on the landing, but great air and overall really nice. 14.300 (5.2, 9.300)
Second vault is a Yurchenko 2.5, a bit short in the rotation, he tries to really push it around, but can’t quite get there and ends up too far back to stand it up sadly. 13.200 (5.2, 8.300, -0.3)
Averages a 13.850.
10:13 am. Nikolett Szilagyi HUN BB: Front aerial to jumps, switch leap, tiniest adjustment at the end of the bhs bhs loso. Side aerial is clean. Double wolf turn gets a little sketchy. Clean side somi. High double tuck, small hop back. 13.067 (5.3, 7.767)
10:10 am. Nazar Chepurnyi UKR VT: Handspring double front half, looked REALLY tight in the air, the height he gets on that is RIDICULOUS, step back on the landing. 14.750 (5.6, 9.150)
Second vault is a kaz double, again massive block, beautiful in the air. 15.050 (5.6, 9.550, -0.1)!
Averages a 14.900.
10:07 am. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR BB: Punch front mount is excellent! Really straight legs on the bhs bhs loso. Switch leap, small bobble. Front aerial, solid. Split ring jump, small wobble. Split jump to wolf jump. Switch half, not quite rotated and a small break at the hips. Solid full turn. Side aerial with a slight adjustment. 1.5 dismount with a small hop. 12.633 (5.0, 7.733, -0.1)
10:05 am. Igor Radivilov UKR VT: Piked handspring double front, a bit deep in the landing, tiny bounce. 14.750 (5.6, 9.150)
Second vault is the tsuk double pike, a bit low there, big leap forward but stays mostly upright, no hands down or fall. 14.150 (5.6, 8.550)
Averages a 14.450.
10:01 am. And we’re back for the second half of the finals! Touch for men’s vault and the women on balance beam is now underway.

7. Yordan Aleksandrov, Bulgaria, 13.600
8. Robert Kirmes, Finland, 11.800
8:43 am. Rose Woo CAN UB: Again they’re showing the PB guys walking around instead of the actual routine that’s going on! You have ONE ROUTINE happening at a time in the arena, it should not be this hard? Caught a Tkachev to Pak I think, based on what I could see in the background of PB, then they went to the close-up for the Maloney to clear hip (nice handstand), toe half to front giant to double front, a little deep, small step back. 13.433 (5.2, 8.233)
8:41 am. Rasuljon Abdurakhimov UZB PB: Nothing wrong at the beginning, just had to correct some sway back in a handstand, also a bit arched in a pirouette after, front pike to handstand, turns around halfway before a salto, one-arm pirouette to handstand was nice, half turn arched over slightly, and dismounted with a double pike, hop back. 14.200 (5.5, 8.700)
8:40 am. Celeste Mordenti LUX UB: We missed the entire first half on the stream, saw from the bail to toe shoot, blind full, and a strong double layout with a small hop back. 12.567 (4.9, 7.667)
8:38 am. Yordan Aleksandrov BUL PB: Back tuck, through to handstand, nice. Kip cast to handstand with some hand adjustments, and then adjustments on a pirouette after. Smooth one-arm pirouette, giant to barani, pirouette out was nice, half turn, double front over-rotates a bit with a big lunge forward. 13.600 (5.7, 7.900)
8:36 am. Sara Sulekic CRO UB: Toe-on Tkachev caught in mixed grip and connected to an Ezhova, mixed grip came a little late, Maloney to Pak, van Leeuwen, some leg separation and the turn is a bit late, stalder, blind full in a nice position, and a layout dismount, clean and stuck. 13.233 (5.1, 8.133)
8:34 am. Robert Kirmes FIN PB: Front pike through to handstand, slight hand adjustment after, kip cast to handstand, pike sit to handstand, catches the one-arm pirouette in a weird position and tries to muscle out of it but can’t manage it and he hops off. Back on, gets the one-arm pirouette really nicely this time, and then does a 1.5 pirouette, which is a little iffy, half turn, front straddle salto, piked double back, over-rotates it and sits it. 11.800 (5.3, 6.500)
8:32 am. Derin Tanriyasükür TUR UB: Clear hip full, ends up having to rush it around at the end, Maloney to Pak, a little low there, but no big problems, good finsihen on the toe full, but the connection to the van Leeuwen makes the van Leeuwen WILD in the air. Shocking she caught it! Straddle Jaeger, but then misses her feet on the toe-on after and has to come off. Back on for the blind change to double tuck, doesn’t get enough height and she ends up sitting it, unfortunately. 10.633 (5.3, 5.333)
8:31 am. Ahmet Önder TUR PB: Front pike up to handstand, cast to handstand, short on a turn onto the single rail but the next couple of pirouettes are nice, Makuts with a slight adjustment, nice catch on the straddle salto, to pike sit up to handstand, muscled on a hop half turn at the end, and then has a tiny bounce back on the double front half dismount. 14.750 (6.4, 8.350)
8:24 am. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR UB: Toe full was a bit late and had some form issues, Maloney to Pak, some leg separation, van Leeuwen, some leg form there, blind change to front giant, muscles it before swinging into the jaeger, short on the half pirouette to front giant, and lands the double front dismount a bit low. 12.767 (5.2, 7.567)
8:23 am. Krisztofer Meszaros HUN PB: Nice handstand before the Makuts! One-arm pirouette out, a little muscle up, pike to handstand came up short and slow, back tuck between the bars went well, straddle hop pressed to handstand, clean on a one-arm pirouette and on the straddle salto, double front dismount with a big hop back. 14.100 (6.1, 8.000)
8:21 am. Nikolett Szilagyi HUN UB: Toe full, loses her leg form, Maloney to Pak, some leg separation there as well, Ray back to the high bar, toe half, leg separation, to piked Jaeger, just a layout dismount. She stepped in for Maisa Kuusikko after qualifying ninth, and did a nice job! 12.033 (4.5, 7.533)
8:20 am. Oleg Verniaiev UKR PB: Front pike to handstand, tiny movement with a hand. Next couple of pirouettes/transitions to the single rail are excellent, little muscle up on the Makuts, Tippelt was GORGEOUS, the way he caught was everything, Bhavsar, a little rushed on the handstand out and muscles a pirouette around, also a bit weak on the next pirouette, but sticks the double front half. Oh I’m so happy he’s back! 15.000 (6.6, 8.400)
8:16 am. Lucija Hribar SLO UB: Toe half to straddle Jaeger, some bent elbows before the Ray to Pak, but a strong connection. Maloney came off of the low bar REALLY low and she doesn’t have a chance at reaching the high bar, unfortunately a fall. Back on for a blind full, a little late but not too bad, and a full-in, lunge forward and chest slightly low. 11.000 (5.3, 5.700)
8:14 am. Jesse Moore AUS PB: Kip to handstand, little ankle separation, pike through to pike hold, pressed to handstand, really nice, one-arm pirouette out, and then another one-arm full pirouette, half turn, and a double front dismount with a hop forward. 13.600 (4.9, 8.700)
8:12 am. Anna Lashchevska UKR UB: Inbar to Maloney to Pak, very nice. Great handstand before the stalder to toe shoot, another amazing handstand before the inbar half to straddle Jaeger, lovely! Short half turn before the toe full to full-in, a little underrotated with a step back to steady it. This was mostly GORGEOUS! 13.533 (5.6, 7.933)
8:11 am. Nazar Chepurnyi UKR PB: Arche over slightly on a handstand at the beginning and then comes out of a single-rail transition a bit rushed. Just needs to tighten up overall on those pirouettes. Tippelt and Bhavsar are both better, but he arches the handstand before the on-arm pirouette near the end. Double front with a step back. 14.750 (6.3, 8.450)
8:05 am. Women’s Vault Final Standings
1. Oksana Chusovitina, Uzbekistan, 13.067

Pommel Horse Final Standings
1. Ahmad Abu Al Soud, Jordan, 15.550
2. Oleg Verniaiev, Ukraine, 14.800
3. Oskar Kirmes, Finland, 13.500
4. Jesse Moore, Australia, 13.300

6. Ferhat Arican, Türkiye, 12.350
7. Balazs Kiss, Hungary, 12.200
8. Cameron Lynn, Great Britain, 12.200
8:00 am. Ceren Biner TUR VT: Yurchenko full, could straighten up a bit more in the air, but a solid landing. 13.200 (4.2, 9.000)
Second vault is a tsuk tuck full, again REALLY strong on the landing! And pretty clean in the air, just really loses knee form for a second right after the block. 12.700 (3.8, 8.900)
Averages a 12.950, same as her teammate who is in second place, but Biner will finish third after the tie-break.
7:58 am. Jesse Moore AUS PH: One-arm swing, some leg and hip form, moves well between the handles and hors and then also into his flair work, back to circles, slight form on the transition, a little low to the horse when traveling in circles, really starts to lose hip form near the end and has a kind of wild attempt on the dismount but he gets it around and lands it. 13.300 (6.4, 6.900)
7:57 am. Katrina Jurevica LAT VT: Yurchenko full, some nice form! Small step and maybe a little deeper than it needed to be to absorb the landing, but overall a nice vault. 12.800 (4.2, 8.600)
Second vault is handspring front tuck, too far forward on the landing and she has to punch front into a roll out of it. I feel like she has the power to do a tuck half. 11.500 (3.6, 7.900)
Averages a 12.150.
7:56 am. Ahmad Abu Al Soud JOR PH: Really nice work at the beginning, excellent extension on almost everything, one-arm swing was lovely, just loses some ankle form after, and truly lovely work throughout the rest, just slight hip form near the end. He made his super difficult set look like nothing. 15.550 (6.6, 8.950)
7:54 am. Nazanin Teymurova AZE VT: Handspring front pike half, two steps back on the landing but it was nice in the air. 12.833 (4.0, 8.833)
Next up is a lovely and strong tsuk layout, tiny hop back. 12.767 (3.8, 8.967)
Averages a 12.800.
7:53 am. Usukhbayar Erkhembayar MGL PH: Legs went straddled on his one-arm swing, but brought it back together without any problems, Russians on the single pommel, loses some hip form while traveling in circles, also starts losing leg form, Russians at the end of the horse into the dismount, a hit routine! 12.700 (5.5, 7.200)
7:51 am. Anastasija Ananjeva LAT VT: Handspring front pike, a bit deep, but no major problems. 12.333 (3.8, 8.533)
Second vault is a tsuk layout, really solid actually! Just not a ton of power. 11.967 (3.4, 8.567)
Averages a 12.150.
7:50 am. Oskar Kirmes FIN PH: Scissors through to circles, loses some ankle form for a split second but quickly brings it back, his rhythm is SO on, nice hip extension on most skills, Russians at the end are solid, and he dismounts from the Russians, not the most difficult routine but a good hit! 13.500 (5.3, 8.200)
7:44 am. Tara Stefanovic SRB VT: First is a handspring front pike, big leap forward. 12.467 (3.8, 8.667)
Next up is a tsuk back pike, big bounce backwards. 11.800 (3.4, 8.400)
Averages a 12.134.
7:42 am. Balazs Kiss HUN PH: Scissors to handstand, doesn’t quite have it, has to walk forward a couple of steps on his hands but ultimately can’t bring it under control and he hops off. Back on for circles, lots of work on the single handle, transitions well to the horse, travels well, begins piking his hips more at the end, but goes up well into the dismount. Shame about the beginning, it was otherwise nice. 12.200 (5.2, 7.000)
7:41 am. Tijana Korent CRO VT: Handspring front pike half, some form in the air, a tiny bit short, and a hop on the landing. 12.800 (4.0, 8.800)
Second vault is a Yurchenko full, some leg separation coming off the table, decent landing, steps into the salute. 12.967 (4.2, 8.767)
Averages a 12.884.
7:40 am. Oleg Verniaiev UKR PH: Scissors to handstands down into his circles, one-arm swing, needs a bit more hip extension on the circles in general, single handle Russians, Russians between the handles, travels in Russians, loses some leg form there on the first travle, but is great on the second and continues into Russians at the end of the horse, really smooth into this dismount, massive hit! 14.800 (6.5, 8.300)
7:37 am. Bengisu Yildiz TUR VT: Yurchenko full, nice in the air, solid landing. 13.233 (4.2, 9.033)
Second vault is a tsuk tuck full, bounce on the landing, not super powerful, but a good run for her and she should get on the podium after qualifying in the top three. 12.667 (3.8, 8.867)
Averages a 12.950.
7:36 am. Ferhat Arican TUR PH: Scissors are really sloppy, into his circles, the transition isn’t quite there. Some leg separation on Russians on the single handle. Circles on the single handle as well, up to Busnari, accidental dismount after his hand work gets messy and he kind of slips, but the camera people and the audience think he’s finished with his routine which is hilarious. Gets back on for flair work, travels well, Russians at the end of the horse, some bent legs in the circles before rushing into the handstand for his ACTUAL dismount. 12.350 (5.5, 6.850)
7:33 am. Oksana Chusovitina UZB VT: Handspring front pike half for her first vault, some form in the air but she gets the landing pretty well. 12.900 (4.0, 8.900)
They’re showing Ferhat Arican standing around instead of Chusovitina’s second vault, so annoying. Okay, here she goes just coming off the table, literally only showed the post-flight but I’m going to assume it’s a tsuk full. Some pike down but another solid landing! 13.233 (4.4, 8.833)
Averages a 13.067.
7:32 am. Cameron Lynn GBR PH: Legs came apart on his circles early on and before his Russians, but he corrected both times. Could open his hips more and he had a massive struggle to muscle the handstand into the dismount, but all in all, it’s a hit routine. 12.200 (5.4, 6.800)

7:16 am. Eddie Penev BUL FX: Double-twisting double layout, steps back OOB. Randi with a little hop back. Double double, small hop back there as well. 1.5 to front full down the side, a little unsteady on the landing. Whip to 2.5 to front layout, love! Last pass is a front double full, doesn’t really get the set into it, tucks it a bit in the air, and then sadly sits it. 12.150 (5.7, 6.750, -0.3)
7:13 am. Abdulaziz Mirvaliev UKR FX: Piked double front, two little hops forward. Randi, really deep landing with a big step forward. Arabian double front half-out, big hop forward. Layout down the side. Front double full to front layout, really solid there. 1.5 to front full, little bobble on that landing. Love that he does SIX passes before taking a break for the strength holds. 2.5 to finish, big hop back. 13.500 (5.6, 7.900)
7:09 am. Ricards Plate LAT FX: Front double full to front layout, tiny hop. Double front, sat it unfortunately. Double full, chest a bit forward. 2.5 to front full, a little iffy with the form. Triple full, really low, ends up having to put his hands down. 11.100 (5.2, 5.900)
7:06 am. Ahmet Önder TUR FX: Front full to piked double front, step forward. 2.5 to front layout, great landing there. Double double, hop back. Double full. Full-in I think after that?
