3. Brazil 245.394
4. Argentina 238.995
5. Mexico 234.262
6. Cuba 230.228
7. Colombia 229.661
8. Chile 228.594
9. Puerto Rico 164.129

8:32 pm. Dilan Jimenez COL FX: Double double, hop back. Full-twisting double layout, good landing. Front double full to front tuck full, clean. Front full. 2.5o to front layout, ugh, punched really awkwardly and had a hard fall on the layout. I’m so sad, this was going SO well.

8:30 pm. Curran Phillips USA PB: Oof, fell early in the routine on a pirouette, lord. Back on for a Makuts and a back Makuts I think? Got a straddle salto and a double front, deep with a hop.

Caleb Faulk JAM HB: Thought he was doing a Cassina at the end of his routine but he was doing a full-twisting layout over the bar, I was like that’s WAY too big, he’s never gonna catch, but he didn’t mean to, ALL IS GOOD!

8:27 pm. Arthur Mariano BRA VT: Lovely Kas 1.5, great landing!

Andres Martinez COL FX: Randi to start, good. Double double, really deep, hop forward but saves a fall. 2.5 to front layout is nice. 1.5 to front tuck full, little bounce. Had a kind of wild pass after that, legs fully straddle in the air, still punched out of it, hit the last pass.

Colt Walker USA PB: Makuts, really long pause halfway through. Tippelt was nice. Arched over on a half turn, walked out of it, double front dismount.

8:26 pm. Donnell Whittenburg USA PB: Wasn’t typing for this but it was a hit routine, good full-in dismount.

8:23 pm. Cameron Bock USA PB: Very nice at the beginning, strong straddle salto, big Bhavsar, basically split the bars on his Tippelt, SO weird, just slipped I think? Hit the dismount but oof.

Wasn’t typing for two vaults but both Diogo Soares and Yuri Guimarães hit, I think the latter with a Kas 1.5! Guimarães does a beautiful handspring double front for his second vault!

8:21 pm. Kristopher Bohorquez COL FX: Double front, small hop forward. 1.5 to front full is a success. Arabian double front, sits it. Hit the side pass with a hop. Front full. 2.5 dismount, a little whippy in his twists.

Diorges Escobar CUB SR: Straddle planche, saltos to pike sit, full-in half-out dismount with a big step.

Patrick Sampaio BRA VT: Think he did a Kas full, looked fine from what I saw.

8:17 pm. Rotation 5 Standings

1. Canada 207.228
2. United States 207.195
3. Brazil 202.195
4. Argentina 197.296
5. Mexico 194.279
6. Cuba 193.296

8:16 pm. Caleb Faulk JAM PB: Pike sit, press to handstand with a bit of an elbow adjustment but gets there in the end, pirouette had slight form throughout, basket through to handstand, turns around with slight leg form, double tuck dismount with a small hop.

8:14 pm. Jameel Ali TTO PB: Starts well, he had a million year wait, doing mostly basic elements and is arching a bit but good job getting through mostly cleanly, double pike with a bounce forward and gets lots of applause after the wait he endured!

8:10 pm. Jorge Vega Lopez GUA FX: Randi to start, a little short. Full-twisting double layout, strong. Hop back. Front double full to barani is clean. Think he did a full-in down the side. 1.5 to front full, into the second half a little low and long but gets it around. Clean layout full. 2.5, a little deep, step forward.

8:07 pm. Audrys Nin Reyes DOM FX: Front double full to barani. Piked double front, big hop forward. Front full to front tuck full, good landing. 2.5 with a big hop to the side.

Dilan Jimenez COL HB: There’s always one team that I manage to accidentally ignore entirely and this time it’s Colombia, I feel like whenever I look for them they’re either just about done or fully done! Only saw his pirouette elements, which were pretty good. Full-twisting double layout dismount, good landing.

8:06 pm. Arthur Mariano BRA SR: This is his first rings routine in four years! Thanks to Scott Bregman for inspiring me to search for that stat. Straddle planche, hips maybe a bit high, arches a bit in handstand after, saltos through to pike sit, full-in half-out dismount, good landing!

8:05 pm. Oliver Sons BOL FX: Piked double front, hand down. Got the double front around, but is a bit low. Also low on the next pass, stumbles it back. Hit the last pass with his legs apart.

Diorges Escobar CUB PH: Had a fall.

Andres Martinez COL HB: Rybalko, Tak full with lots of leg form, Tak half is much better. Quast, good full-twisting double layout.

8:03 pm. Yuri Guimarães BRA SR: Pike sit, rolls through to saltos to pike sit, clean, presses to handstand, arches over but fights through, arched over the back giant to handstand, full-twisting double layout with a small hop.

8:02 pm. Yohendry Valaverde CUB PH: Had a decent set going until the dismount, legs came apart as he went into handstand and he couldn’t quite get there, crashes down onto the horse. Tries the sequence again and gets it this time.

Colt Walker USA VT: Beautiful Kas 1.5!!!

8:01 pm. Curran Phillips USA VT: Strong Kas 1.5, small bounce.

Diogo Soares BRA SR: Straddle planche to pike sit, mostly nice stuff until the back giant to handstand which starts getting a bit wild, corrected though and dismounted well, full-twisting double layout.

Donnell Whittenburg USA VT: Kas 1.5, big lunge back to control it. He stuck it in the touch!

7:59 pm. Cesar Lopez ECU FX: Had a strong pike double front! Finished with a clean double full.

Cameron Bock USA VT: Excellent Kas 1.5!

Alejandro de la Cruz CUB PH: I only saw the end, hit the last like 10 seconds based on what I saw!

7:55 pm. Rotation 4 Standings

1. Canada 166.129
2. Brazil 163.696
3. United States 163.596
4. Cuba 158.063
5. Argentina 157.730
6. Mexico 156.347

7:49 pm. Diorges Escobar CUB FX: 2.5 to double front, sat it. Front double full to front layout. Double double was excellent. 1.5 to front full, hand down. Arabian double front, looks like he has the landing but then he slips and puts his hands down. Arabian double front half-out with a scoot back.

Cesar Lopez ECU HB: Hit routine, nice double double layout dismount!

7:47 pm. Arthur Mariano BRA PH: Starts out well, hip form could be cleaner, legs come apart in the Russians at the end of the horse but he quickly pulls them back together and gets into the dismount.

7:44 pm. Yuri Guimarães BRA PH: Lots of really nice flair work, gets stuck going into the handstand before the dismount but fights through and gets the landing, hit routine!

Jose Escandon CUB FX: I caught this from the double double, hands down sadly. Good piked double front. Sits his last pass.

Andres Martinez COL PB: I caught it from the nice Bhavsar. Pike sit with a press to handstand, comes up a little short on the layout full dismount, and has to put his hand down.

Donnell Whittenburg USA SR: Wasn’t typing but this was a hit!

7:42 pm. Sergio Vargas COL PB: Started watching this but turned away, everything I did see was nice, step on the dismount.

Diogo Soares BRA PH: Strats off confident in his circles to Busnari, little hesitation before going down into his flairs, but he’s doing lovely work there, Russians across the horse, legs come apart and he is unfortunately off. Hit the rest after remounting.

Alejandro de la Cruz CUB FX: Big piked double front! Clean front full to front layout. Arabian double front half, small hop. Front tuck full down the side. Clean double full. Floaty back layout. Strong arabian double front to finish.

Vahe Petrosyan USA VT: Kas full, big lunge back.

7:40 pm. Pablo Pozo CUB FX: Hit the first couple of passes and a lovely 2.5 to front layout. Front full down the side, small hop.1.5 to front tuck full, little bounce. Triple full at least a quarter short in rotation but he lands it.

Cameron Bock USA SR: Hit routine! Wasn’t paying close attention but the guys sounded very excited about it lol.

Pablo Velasquez ESA VT: Kas full, big lunge forward.

7:35 pm. Rotation 3 Standings

1. Brazil 126.064
2. Canada 122.930
3. United States 121.930
4. Cuba 121.764
5. Argentina 118.298
6. Mexico 117.531

7:30 pm. Vahe Petrosyan USA SR: Planche to pike sit, through to salto elements to straddle sit, swinging a bit in handstand and muscles the next one but gets there in the end, clean double double with a wobble with his arms on the landing.

7:27 pm. Stephen Nedoroscik USA PH: Good scissor work, goes up into handstand for the Busnari but loses his rhythm and crashes it to his chest on the horse. Back on for circles, Russians on the single pommel, one-arm circle, Russians across the horse, makes it through to the dismount. Shame about the beginning.

Arthur Mariano BRA FX: Hit the first pass, then a front double full down to front support, and a 2.5 to front layout, nice landing. Good arabian double front at the end.

Diorges Escobar CUB HB: Zou Li Min, Tak full, maybe a little late but not bad, layout Tkachev, big clean straddle to piked Tkachevs, dismount was weird, kind of does a double tuck/layout? His first flip was pretty much an open tuck, then he stretched out, maybe meant to do a DLO and just kind of lost himself.

7:25 pm. Donnell Whittenburg USA PH: Wasn’t typing but this was hit, not the cleanest, but fought through a couple of leg separations and made it through with nothing major.

Yuri Guimarães BRA FX: Hit the first pass then a front full to piked double front, step forward. Barani down the side. Clean double full. Small hop on the 2.5 at the end.

Pablo Pozo CUB HB: MASSIVE Kolman, big layout and straddle Tkachevs as well. Good landing on the full-twisting double layout.

7:23 pm. Diogo Soares BRA FX: Didn’t see the beginning of either of his first two elements but the landings were strong. Clean front full to front tuck full. Stuck double full. Really pulled that triple full around, not perfect but got it!

Jose Escandon CUB HB: Nice layout Tkachev! Straddle as well. Got everything else but unfortunately after all that, he puts his hands down on the full-twisting double layout.

Juan Larrahondo COL VT: Great Kas 1.5! Second vault is a handspring double front, rotates TOO hard and has to put his hands down.

7:21 pm. Audrys Nin Reyes DOM PB: I saw the Tippelt and…that was it. Really tried for this one but failed! The Tippelt was nice!

Andres Martinez COL VT: Nice Kas full.

Colt Walker USA PH: Scissors through to circles. Came off as I was watching vault. Back on, more circle work with kind of closed hips, legs start to go a bit wild before his traveling elements, but he fights through it, gets the dismount.

7:19 pm. Patrick Sampaio BRA FX: Hit his first line. Arabian double front had a big leap forward OOB. 2.5 to front layout stuck. Front full to front tuck full. Hit the last pass.

Cameron Bock USA PH: Hit routine! Didn’t see any major or costly mistakes.

Alejandro de la Cruz CUB HB: Wasn’t typing but this was a hit routine!

Jameel Ali TTO SR: Tried to muscle up a handstand but kind of fell out of it. Pike hold out to planche, some body line positions. Next handstand up was really arched. Full-twisting double layout, slight hop.

7:15 pm. Rotation 2 Standings

1. Brazil 84.298
2. Cuba 83.398
3. United States 82.131
4. Canada 81.664
5. Chile 79.832
6. Argentina 78.332

7:14 pm. Oliver Sons BOL VT: Very nice Kas full, small hop back.

7:13 pm. Johnny Valencia ECU VT: Kas full, bounces back on the landing but he had some nice air.

7:12 pm. Cesar Lopez ECU VT: Believe he did a Kas full? Hands down.

Kristopher Bohorquez COL SR: Had some nice work early on, got a little muscled on the front giant to handstand, and arched on the back giant to handstand, double double dismount was stuck.

7:09 pm. Jorge Vega GUA VT: Handspring front double full, great landing. Then sat the handspring double front unfortunately.

Arthur Mariano BRA HB: Liukin to Endo, Tak full, hips were wild, into the Yamawaki, layout Tkachev to straddle Tkachev, good. Quast, stalder, nailed the landing on the dismount.

Diorges Escobar CUB PB: Saw most of this, looked pretty solid, just a bit bouncy on the dismount landing.

7:06 pm. Yuri Guimarães BRA HB: Think he started with Yamawaki to Endo. Layout Tkachev, nice stalder work, clean full-twisting double layout.

Donnell Whittenburg USA FX: Something twisty, I missed the entry, to double front, layout double double, and front full to double front I think? 2.5 to front layout, double double, and an arabian double front half-out to finish, a little scrappy at times but good that he made it through!

7:05 pm. Jose Escandon CUB HB: Had a nice straddle salto. Bent in half kind of in a handstand before the Tippelt but corrected well. Double front rotated pretty slowly but he got it around.

Andres Martinez COL SR: Got REALLY wild in one of his handstands, really thought he was gonna fall. Held on and struggled through it.

Audrys Nin Reyes DOM VT: Really nice Kas 1.5! Second vault was a GORGEOUS handspring double front.

7:04 pm. Colt Walker USA FX: Handspring double front, hop forward. Front full to double front was good. Went OOB on the third pass. Good landing on the last pass.

Diogo Soares BRA HB: Caught this from the Tak half, went over a little in handstand but corrected into the layout Tkachev, hit straddle to piked Tkachevs after, stalder, Quast, got the dismount!

7:03 pm. Leandro Peña DOM VT: Handspring double front right to his back, that looked painful af. Hit his second vault, I didn’t see what it was, came really low off the table and was surprised he got it around.

7:01 pm. Cameron Bock USA FX: Hit the piked double front and the second pass. Hit the rest.

Juan Larrahondo COL SR: Got a little shaky and muscled and arched in most of his handstand work. Full-in half-out dismount with a step back.

Bernardo Miranda BRA HB: Wasn’t typing but this was a great routine!

Vahe Petrosyan USA PH: Wasn’t typing, hit routine!

6:58 pm. Rotation 1 Standings

1. Cuba 42.166
2. Brazil 41.999
3. Chile 41.599
4. Canada 41.032
5. United States 40.899
6. Argentina 39.366

6:53 pm. I’ve seen like nothing of pommels or rings this rotation, unfortunately! It’s so hard sitting in the middle of the arena instead of at one end where I can see everything. In the middle you have to constantly turn your head back and forth and you miss everything!

6:52 pm. Richard Atencio PAN FX: Saw the beginning, he stuck one pass! Was really nice, a double back, maybe full-in? 1.5 to front full had a hop forward. Unfortunately hand down behind him on the arabian double front at the end.

Arthur Mariano BRA PB: I missed this one sadly!

6:49 pm. Yuri Guimarães BRA PB: Wasn’t typing but this was a hit routine!

Caleb Faulk JAM FX: Arabian double front with a step OOB. 1.5 to front layout with a hop forward. Had a strong 2.5 near the end.

Curran Phillips USA HB: Full twisting layout Tkachev, Cassina, Kolman, straddle to piked Tkachevs, damn! Quast got scary and then he arched over the handstand after and turned around the wrong way. Double double dismount with a big hop forward.

6:47 pm. Jameel Ali TTO FX: Flew forward into a somersault OOB on the double front and put his hand down on the second pass as well. Hit the third. Put his hand down on another pass near the end.

Donnell Whittenburg USA HB: Legs a little crazy on the Tak half, got the layout Tkachev, Quast, blind change to front giant to Tak full, some leg form but not severe, caught something but I didn’t see what it was. Stuck the double double layout dismount.

6:46 pm. Yohendry Villaverde CUB VT: Beautiful Kas 1.5! Small hop forward.

6:45 pm. Diogo Soares BRA PB: Hit everything at the beginning, Makuts with a pause in the middle but got out of it well, nice Healy, arched over on a half turn after and had to correct, double pike with a small hop.

6:43 pm. Vahe Petrosyan USA FX: Piked double front, small hop to the side. Double front was really low and he ultimately sat it. Arabian double front to his knees in the last pass.

Colt Walker USA HB: Caught the first release and then came close to a wild Kovacs but caught it, both Tkachevs caught as well, one-arm giant, hit the dismount!

Alejandro de la Cruz CUB VT: Kas 1.5, hop, but lots of power! Also did a handspring double front, big lunge forward.

Andres Martinez COL PH: I saw him come off at one point.

6:42 pm. Bernardo Miranda BRA PB: Slight leg separation on an early pirouette but the next few elements were clean. Double front dismount was stuck!

6:41 pm. Pablo Velasquez ESA FX: Opens with a double tuck. Hit the rest, but a very low D routine.

Cameron Bock USA HB: Layout Tkachev was good. German giants after and then lots of pirouette work, nothing major to report, hit the double double layout dismount well.

Diorges Escobar CUB VT: Hit the Kas full well.

Pablo Pozo CUB VT: Another solid Kas full, just a small hop back.

6:36 pm. Touch is about to be underway. Lots of athletes in the delegations section watching, just saw Daniel Villafañe come in, and Tyesha Mattis is seated.
