The gymnastics competition at the Olympic Games begins with the men’s qualifications this Saturday, July 27. Trying to figure out when and how to watch? We’ve got you covered here with our athlete rosters, the schedule, and links for tuning in.
Who’s Competing?
Athletes began qualifying for the Olympic Games back in 2022, when the first teams earned berths at world championships, and the process concluded this spring, with the final individual athletes named following the continental championships series and the tripartite quota spot awarded.
We followed this process from start to finish, and our coverage trackers below include the details about every athlete set to compete along with how they got here.

How Can I Follow?
This is really going to depend on where you live. In the United States, where I’m based, NBC owns the rights to broadcast the Olympic Games, so if you’re also here you should be able to stream live on Peacock and a variety of NBC websites and apps (like the NBC Olympics app which I have both on my phone and on Roku TV), while the action will also be televised on NBC. I’ve linked the individual Peacock streams for each session above as well to make it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.
Outside of the United States, Peacock should be available as an option for international viewers, but this Wikipedia page lists all of the rights holders for each country in alphabetical order. Some may require subscriptions and others will have free coverage, so be sure to check into it before the Games begin so you know what to expect!
For live scores, the Olympics website is your best bet, and the FIG also has a live scoring platform.

If you have cable television that includes the E! channel, that along with NBC is scheduled to air a lot of the gymnastics competition live. Here’s a link to NBC’s listings, which gives the start times, along with the current full schedule (with start and end times) for artistic gymnastics. I use “omnibus” to refer to the “some of this, some of that” coverage on the daily NBC prime-time show, or the similar shows on Telemundo or Universo. And I just threw in trampoline because it fills the schedule gap between the WAA and the EFs. All times are Eastern, which is 6 hours ahead of Paris time.

Random question… For EF the -women- after qualifications, and we find out who qualified for each ef, how do they determine the order in which they will compete for each event? A draw? Or First place in qualifications competes, here, etc?

There is a draw! It’s already been completed, so it’s just a matter of seeing the qualification order and then slotting each of those athletes into the spaces that came from the draw.

Oh I see. So question if someone finishes first in qualifications on Vault they compete when? I’m really asking because, lol Andrade’s coach said they will save the attempt for the triple yurchenko in EF ‘if it’s needed’… but if Simone finishes first in qualification, Im wondering when she would compete in the lineup… I wanna see that triple. But if Andrade goes before Simone, how will she know if its needed. lol

Can we see the draw anywhere? Is it on the FIG website?
