2:43 pm. Beatrice Crivellaro BB: Off on her wolf turn just like the girly before her unfortunately. Hit the front aerial, paused before the jumps to collect herself for a sec. Bhs loso was powerful. Side somi and back tuck both hit well. Switch to split leap. Split jump half. Front layout dismount, big hop forward. 10.950 (4.4, 6.550)
Naomi Pazon UB: 12.300 (4.6, 7.700)
2:41 pm. Alessia Marena FX: Really nice double pike! Double tuck with a small hop. Hit a double full after that, went a little wild on one of her leaps. Hopped out of her last pass, I think a front full, I missed the entry! Good set overall. 13.050 (4.8, 8.250)
2:40 pm. Arianna Belardelli UB: Our first look at her today! She’s done the all-around but hasn’t been on the stream. Toe full, a little late, toe-on to Maloney to Tkachev, low, looks like she may have brushed the bar. Toe half was short, to blind change to front giant half, stalder, double tuck, stuck. 11.650 (4.1, 7.550)
2:38 pm. Nina Meraner BB: Straddle press mount was lovely. Off on the full wolf turn. Bhs loso with a break at the hips and significant wobble. Side aerial, chest a bit forward. Switch to split jump, slow to the back tuck after, all pretty clean. Good double full dismount. 10.800 (4.3, 6.600, -0.1)
Angelica Finiguerra VT: 12.800 (4.2, 8.600)
Matilde Ferrari UB: 13.300 (5.2, 8.100)
2:36 pm. Giada di Pietro FX: Clean double pike, large-ish hop back. Had a 1.5 through to double full I think after that. Lovely switch leap. 2.5 with a step forward. 12.400 (4.8, 7.600)
2:35 pm. Alice D’Amato VT: Yurchenko double full, really strong, small hop back. 14.200 (5.0, 9.200)
2:34 pm. Thelma Lapalombella UB: Big Ricna, Pak, toe shoot, stalder to toe half to Endo half, a bit rushed out of handstand, toe full to ljust a layout dismount. 12.150 (4.8, 7.350)
2:32 pm. Eleonora Calaciura FX: SUPER high double tuck, but has a little stumble on the landing. Front double full, powerful! Switch full. She’s a junior, I’d guess she was like 25, she just looks so confident and like she has her life together?! Strong double pike and finishes with great leaps. 13.250 (4.9, 8.350)
Artemisia Iorfino VT: 13.300 (4.2, 9.100)
Marta Uggeri BB: 12.600 (4.6, 8.000)
2:28 pm. Nunzia Dercenno UB: Ricna to Pak I think to start, toe full to Maloney to Gienger, nice! Ezhova, van Leeuwen, arabian double front dismount, a bit wild on the landing with a big hop forward but overall a strong routine! 13.550 (6.0, 7.550)
Chiara Barzasi VT: 13.800 (4.6, 9.200)
2:26 pm. Kaylia Nemour BB: Wobble on the layout stepout mount. Bhs loso loso, nice amplitude! Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump, nice. Switch to switch half, slight check. Slide back after the side aerial. Clean double wolf turn. Double pike, chest down but stuck! 14.550 (6.0, 8.550)
2:25 pm. July Marano UB: Stalder half with leg form to Ezhova, stalder full with more leg form, arches over on the handstand before the Maloney to Tkachev, a bit low but gets it over, Pak, van Leeuwen with significant leg separation, full-out with a hop forward. 13.400 (5.6, 7.800)
Giulia Perotti VT: 13.300 (4.2, 9.100)
2:24 pm. Lara Clerici FX: Whip to double tuck, not bad! Also hit a 2.5 at the end of the routine, nice! 12.650 (5.0, 7.650)
Benedetta Gava BB: 11.850 (5.0, 6.850)
2:23 pm. Asia D’Amato VT: Yurchenko double full, some knee form as she comes off the table, then tucks down a little, but gets the landing with no problem! Big hop back. 14.050 (5.0, 9.050)
2:22 pm. Rebecca Aiello UB: Maloney to Pak, nice van Leeuwen, stalder half to straddle Jaeger, toe full to full-out, deep with a hop back, but nice set overall! 13.600 (5.4, 8.200)
2:20 pm. Caterina Gaddi FX: Jumped into this right at the double tuck, hop back. Front tuck through to double full, hop back onto her toes, keeps from going OOB. Switch to switch half. Clean double wolf turn. Double pike unfortunately to her knees. Looks a little hurt after I fear.
Amelia Mettifogo UB: 10.400 (4.5, 5.900)
2:19 pm. Emma Fioravanti VT: Handspring front layout with a hop forward, some arch in the air. 13.550 (4.4, 9.150)
Eleonora Zorzi FX: 9.850 (4.2, 5.650)
2:18 pm. Emma Puato BB: Sissone to wolf jump, knee went all the way to her nose! Bhs loso, good amplitude there as well. Front aerial, switch leap, triple wolf turn ALMOST goes well but she has to grab the beam at the end, side aerial, cross straddle jump, clean but has a big wobble on the landing. Slight wobble on the side somi. Good double full dismount, hop on the landing. 12.550 (4.9, 7.650)
2:13 pm. Rotation 3 Standings

2:11 pm. Azzurra Nicosia BB: Hit the acro series, switch to split jump half to split jump, leaps could have more amplitude and split. Gets the wolf turn around. Front aerial to sissone, the aerial was nice, the connection was a bit slow. Side aerial, chest a little low. Dismounts with a layout full, hop back. 12.950 (5.2, 7.750)
2:09 pm. Angelica Finiguerra FX: Starts with a nice switch full. 2.5 to punch front, mostly nice, big step forward OOB though. Double tuck with a hop back, also OOB. Switch ring to split ring leap. Nice split and stretch on the Memmel, little stumble. Strong double full to finish, mostly clean. 12.200 (4.6, 8.000, -0.4)
2:08 pm. Letizia Saronni UB: Toe half to straddle Jaeger, Pak, a bit arched, stalder to Maloney to Gienger, pretty close with some leg form but she catches it. I think she was going for a toe full but only got it halfway around and then had to hop off when she couldn’t get to handstand. Back on for just a layout dismount. 10.950 (4.2, 6.750)
2:06 pm. Giada di Pietro BB: Hit the back handspring mount. Bhs bhs loso was super solid and very clean. Front aerial to split jump to straddle jump, short on the straddle. Switch to switch half, a little slow, short on the latter. Side aerial, tiny check. 1.5 dismount with a hop forward. 12.900 (5.3, 7.600)
Beatrice Crivellaro UB: 11.900
2:04 pm. Artemisia Iorfino FX: Low and a bit rough on the landing for her opening full-in, some form in the air as well. 2.5 looks cleaner but goes a bit low and long and she punches front OOB. Switch ring to tour jeté half, minor form. Clean double tuck, small hop. Lovely tour jeté down to the floor for some choreo. 12.000 (5.1, 7.300, -0.4)
Nina Meraner UB: 10.100 (3.0, 7.100)
Alessia Marena BB: 11.800 (4.7, 7.100)
2:03 pm. Naomi Pazon VT: Just does a Yurchenko half, wow, haven’t seen one of those in a bajillion years?! Big leap forward on the landing. 12.550 (3.8, 8.750)
2:00 pm. Alice D’Amato FX: Memmel turn to full spin, great. Double layout, maybe a little low but she gets it around with minor form and a hop back. Hop to the side on the 2.5. Nice work on the leap series and wolf turn. Really nice front double full! 13.500 (5.3, 8.200)
Marta Uggeri UB: 10.300 (4.2, 6.100)
Arianna Belardelli VT: 12.800 (4.2, 8.700, -0.1)
1:58 pm. Eleonora Calaciura BB: Hit the mount, switch leap to switch half to split jump after that also nice. Clean double wolf turn. Front aerial, break at the hips, fights for it. Side aerial to back handspring, solid. Side somi, break at the hips, can’t save this one, unfortunately a fall. Clean double full with a hop back. 12.800 (5.3, 7.500)
Matilde Ferrari VT: 13.150 (4.2, 8.950)
1:56 pm. Elena Ferrari FX: Switch full into the corner before her first pass, a solid double pike, little steps back. Front tuck through to double full, some leg form throughout the latter. Really strong in her leap series. High double tuck, bounces back out of it. Switch ring to finish. 12.300 (4.7, 7.600)
1:52 pm. Chiara Barzasi FX: Love the opening choreo into the double wolf turn position. Gets that around well. Whip to double tuck, good landing there. Memmel to full turn is quite rushed. 1.5 to front full, small hop back. Ooh, think she finished with a triple full? Nice routine overall! 12.150 (4.9, 7.250)
1:51 pm. Nunzia Dercenno VT: Yurchenko 1.5, comes a bit low off the table and sits it unfortunately! 12.200 (4.6, 7.600)
1:49 pm. Caterina Gaddi BB: A little tentative on the bhs loso. Front aerial to split jump was good. Side somi, also pretty solid. Little check on a cross jump and then off on the side aerial. Hit the jump series, maybe a little short overall. Double full dismount, a hair short in rotation, small hop. 11.200 (4.7, 6.500)
1:48 pm. Giulia Perotti FX: Solid full-in to start. Front layout through to double pike, small hop back. Clean double tuck but has a small stumble back. 13.900 (5.4, 8.500)
July Marano VT: 13.350 (4.6, 8.750)
1:45 pm. Elisa Agosti BB: Wobbly on the mount but hit the bhs bhs loso well. Front aerial to jumps, not bad. I wasn’t watching for the rest, sorry! 12.400 (5.1, 7.300)
Tina Novi UB: 10.800 (4.6, 6.200)
1:43 pm. Asia D’Amato FX: Hit the double layout and then stuck the heck out of the arabian double front. Random barani before a double tuck which went a little wild on the landing. Switch to switch full, a little short there with a hop. Short on a switch full at the end. 13.250 (5.3, 7.950)
Rebecca Aiello VT: 12.100 (4.6, 7.500)
1:41 pm. Kaylia Nemour UB: Inbar full to inbar layout Tkachev, misses it! Nooooo. Back on for a Komova II to stalder full to stalder Tkachev in mixed grip to Ezhova to Chow half, toe full to low double layout, hop back. 14.450 (6.7, 7.750)
Carolina Carlucci BB: 12.300 (4.8, 7.500)
1:40 pm. Amelia Mettifogo VT: Yurchenko 1.5, really pushes for that landing and has to take two MASSIVE leaps forward out of it. 13.150 (4.6, 8.550)
Emma Puato UB: 12.600 (4.8, 7.800)
1:38 pm. Emma Fioravanti FX: Super powerful on the double front and double layout! Switch to switch half. 1.5 through to double tuck, ugh, ends up a bit low and has a big stumble forward, no hands down though. Double pike, really deep landing. Such a fun routine. 13.600 (5.9, 7.700)
1:34 pm. Rotation 2 Standings
1. Alice D’Amato 29.100
2. Giulia Perotti 28.750
3. Artemisia Iorfino 27.200
4. Emma Fioravanti 27.100
5. Giada di Pietro 26.650
– Kaylia Nemour 26.550
6. Chiara Barzasi 26.350
7. Asia D’Amato 26.250
1:31 pm. Rebecca Dotti FX: Memmel to full turn and also had a leap that went well at the start. Strong double tuck, hop back. Good front full. Switch ring to split ring leap, good! Double pike is a little deep on the landing but fine overall. 12.000 (4.6, 7.400)
Rebecca Archetti UB: 11.900 (4.4, 7.500)
1:29 pm. Thelma Lapalombella BB: Kinda misses the split in her split leap mount and has a hard fall. Split jump half to Korbut after remounting. Off again on the bhs loso. Front aerial, wobble. Switch to split jump to short straddle jump. Gainer tuck dismount. 10.900 (4.8, 6.100)
Naomi Pazon FX: 10.700 (4.5, 6.500, -0.3)
1:27 pm. Giada di Pietro UB: Toe full to Maloney to Pak, nice! Chow to stalder half, some leg form, inbar half to straddle Jaeger, toe full to full-in, some form there but gets it around. Take the root entries with a grain of salt because I saw two toe fulls but one may have been an inbar or stalder, this angle is terrible! 13.850 (6.1, 7.750)
1:26 pm. Artemisia Iorfino BB: Layout stepout mount, bhs loso, lovely. Switch to split half, really short on the latter. Hit a double full dismount. 13.250 (5.2, 8.050)
Arianna Belardelli FX: 12.650 (4.9, 7.750)
1:24 pm. Alessia Marena UB: I wasn’t typing for this but it was a hit routine! Had a really clean double tuck dismount. 12.800 (4.6, 8.200)
Beatrice Crivellaro VT: 12.700 (4.2, 8.500)
1:21 pm. Alice D’Amato BB: Clean switch leap mount. Front aerial to split ring jump, solid. Switch leap to switch ring to Korbut, a little slow in the connections but not terribly so. Ring could also use some attention to detail. Bhs loso, wobbles and stumbles back but saves it. Punch front to split jump. Hit the wolf turn. 2.5 with a hop. 14.500 (6.0, 8.500)
Elena Ferrari UB:
1:20 pm. Nina Meraner VT: Yurchenko layout, a bit deep on the landing. 12.250 (3.6, 8.650)
Eleonora Calaciura UB: 11.550 (4.9, 6.650)
1:19 pm. Matilde Ferrari FX: Double pike, big bounce back but good before that. 2.5, comes out of it a bit messy and deep on the landing, attempts to punch front tuck out of it and kinda gets it but then stumbles and puts her hands down. Switch to switch half, a bit short on the latter. Double full, some hip and leg form throughout. 11.050 (4.4, 6.650)
Marta Uggeri VT: 12.650 (4.2, 8.450)
1:16 pm. Angelica Finiguerra BB: Simple mount before a switch leap to split leap, some nice form on both. Super solid bhs loso. Switch ring, back leg is a bit of a mess. Front aerial with a pause before the split ring jump (back foot is messy again) to back handspring I think that series was? Going off of my terrible memory. Hit the dismount. Honestly a great routine minus the feet on the ring elements! 13.150 (5.4, 7.750)
1:13 pm. Nunzia Dercenno FX: Arabian double front, really deep landing there. 1.5 to front full, noticeable leg form on the latter. Hit the leap series. Double pike ends up short with her chest down, punches forward to her hands down on the mat. 11.250 (4.8, 6.450)
Elena Ferrari UB: 12.600 (5.4, 7.200)
1:11 pm. Emma Fioravanti BB: Powerful punch front mount and also looked strong in her jump series. Front aerial, slight check. Bhs loso ended up a bit wild on the landing, chest really far forward, but saves it from falling. Big punch front. Strong triple wolf turn. Big double pike dismount. 13.400 (5.5, 7.900)
July Marano FX: 12.250 (5.2, 7.350, -0.3)
1:08 pm. Elisa Iorio UB: Downie to Pak, Maloney to stalder half, can’t get to handstand, tries to muscle it up but has to hop off. Back on for a van Leeuwen I think? Or Chow half maybe. It’s so hard to see the entries with this angle! Also hit the rest of the routine, front full pirouette and double front dismount. 13.050 (5.7, 7.350)
1:06 pm. Giulia Perotti BB: Hit the switch mount to a switch leap half to Korbut, lovely! Gorgeous triple flight series as well. Switch ring, clean. Front aerial, break at the hips. Switch to split jump half to straddle jump. Wolf turn was clean, think she did a 2.5? Double tuck, hop back. 14.600 (6.1, 8.500)
Rebecca Aiello FX: 11.600 (5.1, 6.500)
1:05 pm. Caterina Gaddi UB: Inbar to Maloney to Tkachev, good! Bail to stalder full to toe shoot, toe half to front giant to double front, kind of has a weird and powerful punch out of that landing and flies right to her hands. 12.250 (5.2, 7.050)
1:04 pm. Kaylia Nemour VT: Yurchenko full, very clean in the air, step back. 13.250 (4.2, 9.050)
1:01 pm. Asia D’Amato BB: Off on the back handspring mount. Back on for a bhs loso, fine there. Front aerial, slight wobble. Switch to switch half, a little slow to connect. Big wobble on the side somi. Dismounts with a double pike, chest down, step to the side. 11.900 (4.8, 7.100)
Amelia Mettifogo FX: 13.000 (5.0, 8.000)
Emma Puato VT: 13.750 (4.6, 9.150)
12:59 pm. Martina Maggio UB: Stalder full to Ray to Pak, very nice! Short handstand before the toe full (a bit rushed) to Maloney to big Tkachev. Toe half, a little short, blind change, some form, just a layout dismount. 13.800 (5.3, 8.500)
12:58 pm. Chiara Barzasi BB: Off on her layout stepout mount. Bhs bhs loso goes really well, though! Solid and clean. Side aerial, tiny check. Switch leap slow to the split ring leap, some form on the latter. Switch ring to split jump, much better connection there. Good double full dismount. 12.500 (5.1, 7.400)
12:55 pm. Rotation 1 Standings
1. Alice D’Amato 14.600
2. Asia D’Amato 14.350
3. Sofia Tonelli 14.150
4. Giulia Perotti 14.150
5. Artemisia Iorfino 13.950
6. Manila Esposito 13.900
7. Chiara Barzasi 13.850
8. Emma Fioravanti 13.700
12:54 pm. That’ll do it for the first rotation!
12:52 pm. Naomi Pazon BB: Back handspring mount. Hit the bhs loso series. Switch leap to switch side, a pause between them and the split on the side leap is very short. Had a cross jump as well. Front aerial, a little shaky, split to straddle jumps, short again I think. Layout full dismount, steps into the salute. 12.450 (4.8, 7.650)
Sofia Tonelli UB: Toe full to Chow to big Tkachev, Downie, Pak, Maloney to bail to Ray, blind change to front giant to double front, deep with a hop forward. 14.150 (6.0, 8.150)
Angelica Finiguerra UB: 12.550 (4.8, 7.750)
12:50 pm. Beatrice Crivellaro FX: Clean double pike to start. Front full with a small hop forward. Had some nice control on her leaps after that! 12.700 (4.9, 7.800)
Arianna Belardelli BB: 11.550 (4.6, 6.950)
Giada di Pietro VT: 12.800 (4.2, 8.600)
12:47 pm. Alice D’Amato UB: Toe full, a little late, Maloney to Tkachev, I believe a stalder piked Tkachev to Pak, van Leeuwen, minor ankle separation, blind change to front giant to front full pirouette to mostly clean double front. 14.600 (6.2, 8.400)
Nina Meraner FX: 11.800 (4.0, 7.800)
12:46 pm. Eleonora Calaciura VT: Yurchenko full, good power, big hop back. 13.150 (4.2, 8.950)
Artemisia Iorfino UB: 13.950 (5.9, 8.050)
12:44 pm. Manila Esposito BB: Back handspring mount right into two layout stepouts, wobbled at the end but fought to stay on. Switch leap with a wobble. Front aerial to split jump to sissone. Side aerial with a wobble/break at the hips. Clean double wolf turn. Basically stuck the double pike! 13.900 (5.6, 8.300)
12:43 pm. Alessia Marena VT: Yurchenko full, really nice landing! Minor pike down but nice overall. 12.950 (4.2, 8.850, -0.1)
Matilde Ferrari BB: 12.100 (5.0, 7.100)
12:41 pm. Marta Uggeri FX: Memmel turn to double spin, loses a little control at the end of the latter. 1.5 to front layout, some leg form in both. Switch half. Double tuck was pretty deep but she gets it around. Switch leap to tour jeté half with a bounce on the landing. 12.100 (4.4, 7.700)
12:37 pm. Emma Fioravanti UB: Some sort of Tkachev to Pak, I missed the entry of the release. Maloney to Tkachev, blind change to front giant, turns back around for a toe full, some hip form, to a low double layout but gets it around with some pike and a hop. 13.700 (5.9, 7.800)
Nunzia Dercenno BB: 11.800 (5.0, 7.300, -0.5)
12:35 pm. Kaylia Nemour FX: Front tuck through to double pike. 1.5 through to triple full, really short on the rotation and has to hop it around quite a bit, OOB. Switch ring to switch full. Clean double tuck, small step and chest position could be better. 13.300 (5.2, 8.200, -0.1)
12:34 pm. Giulia Perotti UB: Inbar half to Endo half to stalder to Maloney to Ricna, nice work throughout! Mostly clean Pak and van Leeuwen. Toe full and a nice full-in, small hop. 14.150 (5.9, 8.250)
Benedetta Gava FX: 12.950 (5.0, 7.950)
12:32 pm. July Marano BB: I missed the beginning, caught up at the wolf turn which was a little shaky near the end. Had a little wobble on a leap and then on the split jump half. Double tuck with her chest down and a hop forward. 12.300 (5.2, 7.100)
12:30 pm. Asia D’Amato UB: Nabieva to Pak, nice! Toe full was a bit rushed/late but recovers well, Maloney to Tkachev, a little low on the latter. Blind change to front giant half, front full pirouette to double front dismount, a little deep with a lunge back. 14.350 (6.0, 8.350)
Rebecca Aiello BB: 12.250 (5.1, 7.15)
12:27 pm. Rosanna Ercolano VT: Solid Yurchenko full, good power, hop back but overall nice. 13.250 (4.2, 9.050)
Amelia Mettifogo BB: 11.800 (5.0, 6.800)
Caterina Gaddi VT: 13.050 (4.2, 8.850)
12:26 pm. Chiara Barzasi UB: Stalder full to Maloney to Ricna, some form but mostly minor. Ray to Pak done well. Van Leeuwen also! Clear hip half to front giant half and then a full-out to finish, small hop back. Good work! 13.850 (5.9, 7.950)
12:24 pm. Emma Puato FX: Full-in, gets it around with her chest down and a small hop forward. Great front full to stag. A little rushed throughout both her leaps and her turns, but the triple wolf turn went well. Ugh, sat the double tuck in her last acro line. Also came up really short on a Popa at the very end. 11.150 (4.8, 6.650, -0.3)
12:22 pm. Touch warmups are underway!
Sorry for the closed-eyes screen grab but great to see Angela Andreoli and Giorgia Villa in the house!

12:17 pm. Athletes are marching out! I’d guess about 10 or so minutes before the action begins since we still have introductions and the touch warmups.
12:15 pm. Excitedly waiting for the action to begin! And so thrilled I have a day where I can sit back and follow some gymnastics. This is so rare in my life right now and I miss it!
I’m streaming the competition on SPORTface and following live scores on LiveGym.
For reference, the women’s competition includes two days of the all-around, with today being the first and Sunday being the second, which is when the national champions will be determined. The men will compete in the all-around tomorrow and then in apparatus finals on Sunday.
