10:57 am. Botond Molnar HUN PB: First few swings go without issue, clean Tippelt, lovely pirouette to the single rail but then he gets stuck in the straddle while casting to handstand and kinda sits on the bar. Double front with a hop forward. 11.850 (4.7, 7.150)
10:54 am. Alba Petisco ESP FX: Full-in, a bit low with a hop forward and chest down. Arabian double front, step back. Good with the wolf turn and leaps after. Whip to double tuck, lunge back. Double pike, really low, chest down, pulls it up and back which causes her to fall down unfortunately. 11.400 (5.1, 6.400, -0.1)
10:52 am. Ron Pyatov ISR PB: Everything looked mostly fine, double front dismount had a kind of low landing with a big lunge forward. 13.850 (5.5, 8.350)

10:46 am. Dmitry Patanin KAZ PB: One-arm pirouette was really clean, turns around for a cast to handstand, a little short, transition to the single rail was a little iffy but gets the kip cast up, back to both bars for a Tippelt, pretty smooth there, stuck the double front! Good work. 13.550 (5.0, 8.450, +0.1)

10:41 am. Krisztofer Meszaros HUN PB: Front pike to handstand, turns around before the next element, back tuck, maybe a little low, moving so quickly I can’t keep up, Tippelt was smooth, Makuts makes it pretty well around, pirouette out, double front with a small hop. Good work! 13.900 (5.5, 8.400)
10:38 am. Emilia Acosta ARG FX: Arabian double front, really nice! Tour jeté half. Full-in, small hop. Split leap to switch ring. Double pike, hop back, heels right on the line. Popa, clean. She’s very precise with everything. Unfortunately fell out of her double wolf turn. Double tuck a bit deep with a step forward. 11.800 (5.0, 6.800)
10:36 am. Touch for the second half of the rotation!
10:33 am. Angel Barajas COL PB: Front pike to handstand, clean. Turns around for the Makuts, arches over WAY too far on the single rail and then falls out of handstand when he gets back to both. Another same-bar transition gets arched over and he can’t fight through this one, comes off. Just a little rushed overall, a few more pirouettes went kind of awry. Stuck the piked double front though. Lawd. 13.050 (6.1, 6.850, +0.1)
10:30 am. Denisa Golgota ROU FX: Double layout to punch front, OH OKAY QUEEN???? That was FAB. Leg separation in the double layout but I don’t really care tbh. Switch ring half. Strong full-in. Double tuck. Switch ring to straddle something or other, I couldn’t see the rotations. Fantastic routine! 12.750 (5.5, 7.250)
10:27 am. Caio Souza BRA PB: Controlled in his opening work, double front salto went well, gets the handstand after really smoothly, solid straddle front, stuck the double front half! This was excellent. 14.150 (5.3, 8.750, +0.1)
10:24 am. Shanna-Kae Grant GBR FX: Popa at the start. Strong arabian double front! Little bounce on the double full. Switch to switch half. A little shaky in the double wolf turn but not bad. Tour jeté half. Double tuck, lunge back. 12.050 (4.9, 7.150)
10:22 am. Altan Dogan TUR PB: Front pike to handstand, smooth. A little quick in the transition work but mostly clean. Good straddle front and Bhavsar, clean press to handstand, Tippelt also very solid, double pike ends up a bit low with a big lunge forward. 13.600 (5.1, 8.500)
10:18 am. Lucia Gonzalez ARG FX: Popa. Strong double layout but TOO much power, massive bounce back OOB. Full-in, ends up a bit short with a step forward. Double wolf turn. Front layout through to double pike, hop back. Switch to switch side. Good double tuck, small hop. Good routine! 11.850 (5.3, 6.650, -0.1)
10:16 am. Ferhat Arican TUR PB: Good transitions between the bars at the start, half pirouette was really clean, a little shaky and lost some foot form on a single to double rail transition, and then big leg separation to the single rail, one arm pirouette out was nice, Makuts with a half turn out, double front half looked nearly stuck, chest just a bit down. 14.250 (5.9, 8.350)
10:14 am. Lucy Stewart AUS FX: Double pike with a stumble back OOB and then fall, unfortunately. Hit the front full in the second pass. Double tuck goes well, small hop on the landing. 11.450 (4.8, 6.950, -0.3)

Second vault is a Kas 1.5, some leg form in the air and a hop to the side on the landing. 13.800 (4.8, 9.100, -0.1)
13.650 average. (This later got bumped to a 13.700 – assuming they took away the penalty for his second vault, but it doesn’t change the standings.)
9:48 am. Isabella Ajalla ARG BB: Back handspring mount, lovely on the bhs bhs loso, split ring leap (wobble), switch to split jump, switch ring (slight check), front aerial (check again), Onodi (slight wobble), full turn (wobble), gainer full dismount. 12.750 (5.4, 7.350)
9:46 am. Jonas Danek CZE VT: Yurchenko 2.5, really deep and forward on the landing, has to take a massive lunge forward and ends up entirely off the mat and on the hard floor, knee down. 12.700 (4.8, 8.200, -0.3)
Second vault is a Kas 1.5 which looked really nice in the air! Step forward. 13.900 (4.8, 9.200, -0.1)
13.300 average.
9:43 am. Greta Mayer HUN VT: Hit the punch front mount and the layout series. Side aerial, wolf turn, both solid. Switch half, hit the jump series, strong double pike, step back. 13.100 (5.3, 7.800)

13.850 average, moves him to first on a tie-break!
9:37 am. Alia Leat GBR BB: Switch leap mount to switch half to straddle jump, small bobble. Front aerial to switch leap, check. Split ring jump, good double wolf turn, nails the bhs loso loso, switch ring, slight check, oooooh, missed her foot on the punch into the dismount, think she went for a 2.5 but had a hard fall off the mat. 12.400 (5.8, 6.600)
9:35 am. Yuri Guimarães BRA VT: Handspring front double full, not bad in the air, big step to the side on the landing, OOB. 13.900 (4.8, 9.200, -0.1)
Second vault is a handspring double front, which he unfortunately sits. 13.000 (4.8, 8.200)
13.450 average.
9:32 am. Julia Soares BRA BB: Triple wolf turn goes well. Little stumble on the bhs loso. Front aerial to split jump to back tuck, good! Switch to tour jeté, angle is slightly off. Hit the jump series. Takes 20 minutes to prep for her dismount, double pike, chest slightly down. 12.700 (5.5, 7.300, -0.1)
9:26 am. Szilard Zavory HUN VT: Superb Kas 1.5! Great in the air and a super strong landing. 14.100 (4.8, 9.300)
Strong Yurchenko double full for the second vault, minor ankle form in the air, small hop back. 13.600 (4.4, 9.200)
13.850 average.
9:23 am. Flavia Saraiva BRA BB: Back handspring mount to split jump. Small check at the end of the bhs loso loso. Switch ring, front aerial, a little slow to the split ring jump, wobble. Side somi. Great double pike! Big smile and a lil dance at the end, the cutest. 13.800 (5.7, 8.100)
9:21 am. Eddie Penev BUL VT: Yurchenko 2.5, big lunge forward but really clean in the air. This commentator called it a “raggedy landing.” It really wasn’t lol. 14.000 (4.8, 9.200)
Kas full with a step back for his second vault, but really clean in the air. 13.500 (4.4, 9.200, -0.1)
13.750 average.
9:18 am. Philippa Busuttil MLT BB: Hit the loso mount right into the acro series, then gets the wolf turn around and…falls off when she grabs the beam for choreo after? LORD. 9:15 am. Enkhtuvshin Damdindorj MGL VT: Kas 1.5, deep landing but stands up pretty quickly out of it, leg form in the air is pretty good for the most part. Kinda looked identical to Armijo’s vault tbh. Oh, and they get the same score! 13.700 (4.8, 8.900)
Yurchenko double full, stuck! That was great, think it’ll push him slightly ahead of Armijo. 13.750 (4.4, 9.450, -0.1)
13.725 avrage.
9:12 am. Diana Lobok UKR BB: Layout stepout mount, lovely! Side aerial layout stepout, some foot form and a check. Front aerial to split ring jump, minor form throughout. Switch ring, back leg is unfortunately very rough. Double wolf turn, switch to wolf jump, both fine. Dismounts with a double full, some crossed ankles but a solid landing. 12.750 (5.6, 7.150)
9:10 am. Josue Armijo CHI VT: Kas 1.5, really deep on the landing, but overall not bad in the air, some minor knee form, hop to the side. 13.700 (4.8, 8.900)

13.600 average.
9:07 am. Alba Petisco ESP BB: Gets the layout stepout mount without any issues. Switch to switch half, double wolf turn got a little sketchy and I thought she was gonna fall but she does a great job to come back from that wobble. Bhs loso loso, hit, side aerial with a minor check, cross split jump half, a little short, double pike, chest a bit down but good landing otherwise. 13.250 (5.6, 7.650)

Yeah, I was shocked at almost every floor E score. Especially Julia Coutinho and Julia Soares? I expected both to be much closer to an 8.0 so for them to be a full mark down was wild to me. I thought Denisa Golgota’s was also a bit low but some of her form was a little messy (like the legs in the double layout) so I was like oh okay, I guess that makes sense? But both of the Brazilians’ scores had me shocked. I think all three athletes on the floor podium should’ve ended up 13+ total.

Yay, DENISA!!! Felicitations!

You said Julia Soares took 20 minutes preparing for the dismount on the BB final, but I actually counted 3 business days lol. She really needs to fix that. And it’s not only on the dismount, it’s everywhere. She takes to long preparing for the next skill, too much arm waving and stuff. Her fans keep on trying to push her into the LA 2028 team, saying that she is a lock, but for me the only locks are Andrade (100%) and Saraiva (99,9999…%), the rest of the girls needs to work really hard to get thair spot in the olympic team, of course, if the Brazilians get to qualify a team, which I think they will. Soares has nothing guaranteed, she is nowhere near a lock, being realistic. The UB is the apparatus that is right now the fast track to the Brazilian team, and she is not strong on it at all, also she is not a good vaulter, and Brazil really needs a 3rd vault. On both UB and VT there are already gymnasts doing better than her as the 3rd gymnast, behind Andrade and Saraiva. Plus she has failed in every big BB final she was present, at least since 2023. Again I am just being realistic; I don’t know how her fans got to the conclusion that she has something guaranteed, I can’t see it. The contrary, she can be easily surpassed by another gymnast, she is not a strong AAer to begin with, and not really that strong on BB and FX. Andrade and Saraiva for example, could easily become 2 apparatus gymnasts and still be LA 2028 locks. Soares has a lot of work to do, specially mental preparation to fight the 10/15 gymnasts that are fighting for the 3 spots (Andrade/Saraiva as locks) available.

Three business days LMAO. Yeah, she definitely thinks too much and takes way too much time with everything. The 10 second warning went off when she was still completing other skills before her dismount prep, which is wild…her routine is way too long and she needs to MOVE. I do think she’s a fantastic athlete, and still has time to fix a lot of things before LA, but hopefully her lower scores on BB/FX in this final show her how much she needs to improve.
