9:19 pm. Preston Ngai HB: Legs are a bit wonky in the Kolman. Double double layout had a hop.

9:15 pm. Danila Leykin PH: Nice work into the flairs, which have great extension, really quick and his hips are SOOOO high! Like a foot or more above the horse, but then loses his rhythm going into the dismount and kinda flips over and crashes, he’s laughing at himself. UGH that was SO freaking nice. Back on for the dismount and that’s it.

Tate Costa HB: Saw the Kolman, stalder, Tkachev, comes off there.

Jesse Pakele FX: Thought I was catching this at the beginning but it was the end lol. Well, he hit the last pass!

9:12 pm. Shane Wiskus PH: I missed the beginning but moved well in circles, some Russians, started bending his legs a bit on the circles after and then the travels in Russians weren’t great, but he fights through, hits!

9:08 pm. Jun Iwai VT: Think he did a Kas 1.5! What I saw was gorgeous, great landing.

Yul Moldauer FX: Double front to his hands! Nauuuur. Rudi down the side. Hit the next couple of passes, 2.5 to front layout with a small hop, finishes with a triple full.

9:04 pm. Fred Richard SR: Clean planche to pike sitout to maltese, great in all. A little wild on the saltos to handstand, double double layout dismount nearly stuck.

Riley Loos VT: Saw he hit but didn’t see what! Good landing from what I could tell.

Hunter Simpson PH: Scissors to circles, good. Really simple set, that was about it.

9:00 pm. Rotation 5 Standings

1. Fred Richard 70.559
2. Yul Moldauer 68.710
3. David Shamah 66.108
4. Jesse Pakele 64.850
5. Preston Ngai 64.758
6. Kristian Grahovski 64.450
7. Taylor Christopulos 64.225
8. Drake Andrews 63.850

8:58 pm. Shane Wiskus FX: Deep landing on the double layout to start. Front full to double front, deep also but feet kinda don’t move. Clean double full. Hit the next pass, I only saw the front layout punch. Arabian double front half-out to finish.

8:57 pm. I’M BACK AGAIN! Was fangirling over Jackson Harrison’s floor. It was gorg. The presentation! I never need to see another side pass into strength holds.

8:51 pm. Yul Moldauer HB: Tak full with some form, Zou Li Min, Tak half, Kolman, maybe a little low but not bad, rest was good! Maybe tucked his legs a little in the dismount?

8:49 pm. David Shamah SR: Great saltos to handstand! Hit routine.

David Ramirez HB: Lovely big Tkachev! Arched over on the Tak half and came down the wrong way, also caught the Gienger really close. Lunge out of the double double layout.

Landon Simpson PH: Wasn’t quick hitting but this was a solid set!

Alex Nitache VT: Didn’t see what he did but he had a bit of a crash unfortunately.

8:46 pm. Christopher Hiser VT: Didn’t see what he did but his landing was great! So solid.

Riley Loos SR: Maltese, some hip form, minor, pike sit pressed to planche, nice! Hit everything else I saw, double double half out dismount solid!

Fred Richard PH: Really strong work in his flairs. Smooth transition to circles, dismount was mostly good!

Kristian Grahovski HB: Good beginning, caught the straddle Tkachev, Tak was lovely, think he hit the rest.

8:45 pm. I missed basically everyone who went up first in the fifth rotation! Sorry, my flight back to NYC on Monday just got canceled due to the blizzard and I had to rebook my flight lol.

8:38 pm. Rotation 4 Standings

1. Fred Richard 56.607
2. Yul Moldauer 55.810
3. Preston Ngai 53.658
4. David Shamah 53.108
5. David Ramirez 52.550
– Jesse Pakele 52.550
7. Drake Andrews 51.800
8. Kristian Grahovski 51.150

8:36 pm. Brian Solomon HB: Caught the Tkachev, stalder, huuuuuge triple back but doesn’t pull his chest up going into the landing and ends up with his hands hitting the mat I fear.

8:34 pm. Jackson Harrison HB: I caught this from the Weiler, Tak half, piked Tkachev, straddle Tkachev to Gienger, nice, hop giant, and hits the full-twisting double layout! Yaaaay!

8:32 pm. Lincoln Dubin HB: hit routine, no big skills, full-twisting double layout dismount was a bit whipped and piked but overall a hit!

Yul Moldauer PB: Ugh I missed this! I never know what’s happening over in PB Land.

8:31 pm. Alex Nitache SR: Front saltos to piked sit, presses to handstand, some swing but not a ton, giants to handstand and a double double dismount, good!

Carson Eshleman FX: Sat the double front at the beginning.

Jun Iwai PH: I only saw this from halfway through, looked fine, dismount got a bit stuck in the handstand and had to be tentative to get it around to his feet.

8:28 pm. Fuzzy Benas VT: Strong Kas 1.5!

Kiran Mandava PH: What I saw was good, muscled the dismount then rushed the pirouette around but made it.

Landon Simpson FX: Had a wild landing on the double pike at the end, that’s all I saw unfortunately!

Joshua Karnes HB: Think he had a Gaylord II? Then caught a release after that looked a bit wild, idk how he stayed on, Kolman was a little better but still some form, layout Tkachev, the rest hit, double double layout with a big hop forward.

8:26 pm. Fred Richard FX: Nailed the double double layout to start. Front full to double front, so fast, hop forward. Front double full. Hit the next pass, I missed what it was. Arabian double front half-out, excellent routine.

David Shamah PH: Missed his legs right before the dismount and had to come off mid-handstand, NOOOOO. Remounts and does it again successfully.

8:23 pm. Charlie Larson FX: Big piked double front, hit the second pass, double double layout was strong, also hit the side pass. Full-twisting double layout is strong. Front double full to front layout. Double layout with a hop forward to finish. I love him!

Danila Leykin HB: Caught the Kolman, Quast was good, double double layout with a solid landing, great set!

8:20 pm. Shane Wiskus HB: Tak full was late, Zou Li Min, layout Tkachev was a little low I think, then he’s off on the Kolman, nooooo. Looks like he grabs the bar for the Kolman the second time but then hops off. Back on, Kovacs, Quast, double double layout, deep but stuck with a wobble.

Crew Bold FX: First pass was a bit bouncy. Double double was strong, hop back. Huge piked double front. Good 2.5 to front layout! Landed with feet apart. Hit the last pass.

Max Odden SR: Hit routine, strong double double dismount, had a hop.

Tate Costa VT: Kas full with a small hop.

Preston Ngai VT: Good Kas 1.5 with a step.

6. Shane Wiskus 39.400
7. Jun Iwai 39.255
8. David Ramirez 39.200

8:13 pm. Kai Uemura FX: Hit the double front then front double full to layout barani. Nice double full down the side. 2.5 to front layout, hop forward. Clean double pike but a little oomph on the landing gives him a bounce back.

8:12 pm. Maksim Kan PH: Pretty basic routine, circles went well though, got a little stuck in the dismount but turned it out.

8:10 pm. David Shamah FX: SUPER high front double pike half, WOW. Front full to double front, also gorg. Clean layout down the side. Lovely arabian double front half-out but lands a bit wonky and has to take a big step to the side.

8:08 pm. Riley Loos FX: Hit the first pass, something to double front, I missed the entry, then a randi with a hop to the side. 2.5 to front layout, small hop forward. Arabian double front half-out with a great landing!

8:06 pm. Fred Richard HB: Big Cassina, Liukin was solid, Kolman maybe a little late but he caught it, Tak half with minor form, straddle Tkachev caught close, really noticeable bent arms there, Quast, double double layout, hop back.

8:05 pm. Preston Ngai SR: Iron cross, drops to hang, inverted hang to front saltos to handstand, pretty controlled, back to handstand is pretty solid, double double dismount with a step.

Zach Green FX: Started out well but his last pass ended up deep with a bunch of steps and hops back.

8:04 pm. Crew Bold HB: Hit his first release but I didn’t see what it was, also had a Cassina and a couple of Tkachevs, close to a stick on the triple back, wobbles a bit.

Shane Wiskus PB: Oh naur I missed this one.

8:02 pm. Nathan Roman SR: Straddle planche swings a little, pulls down to iron cross, good, inverted hang front giant to handstand doesn’t hold enough before going into the saltos which are SUPER swingy, back giant to handstand is super arched and has a muscle up, hit the dismount. Iffy routine but hit.

Cooper Kim FX: Ugh, sat the 2.5 to double front. Deep double layout after that as well.

8:00 pm. Yul Moldauer VT: Kas 1.5 was nice in the air, just a little low and he had to stumble it back.

Jun Iwai FX: Great full-twisting double layout. 2.5 to GORG floaty front layout. Clean double pike, almost stuck but had to hop in the end.

7:54 pm. Rotation 2 Standings

1. Fred Richard 28.402
2. David Shamah 27.858
3. Yul Moldauer 27.305
4. Alex Nitache 27.200
5. Shane Wiskus 26.900
6. Preston Ngai 26.808
7. Jun Iwai 26.500
8. Zach Green 26.150

7:47 pm. Fred Richard PB: Pike hold pressed to handstand, nice and smooth. Hop half turn before a one-arm pirouette, double back salto, turns around for a barani to straddle salto, Tippelt was muscled a bit, REALLY clean double front, chest forward and a wobble to hold it.

Preston Ngai PH: wasn’t typing but his Russians were sooooo clean and smooth, lovely routine overall!

7:46 pm. David Shamah HB: Yamawaki to Endo, German giants to stalder, full-twisting double layout looked clean and stuck.

7:44 pm. Taylor Christopulos FX: Strong piked double front and full-twisting double layout. Clean double full down the side. Good double double to finish, maybe a little short.

Zach Green HB: Triple back dismount!

Crew Bold PB: Had a fall at some point.

7:41 pm. Fuzzy Benas PH: I only saw the dismount which was nice! But he only scored a 9.800 so god knows what happened before that lol.

Cooper Kim HB: Had a kind of wild handstand that he felt out of early on but recovered well. Kolman was REALLY high and close to the bar but caught it, double double layout dismount with a hop.

Shane Wiskus VT: Solid Kas 1.5!

7:39 pm. Alex Nitache FX: Piked double front was lovely. Full-twisting double layout had a good landing.

Jun Iwai HB: Cassina was really nice and clean! Everything else hit, small hop back on the full-twisting double layout.

Yul Moldauer SR: Wasn’t paying close attention to this but was a hit, hop on the dismount.

7:36 pm. Kai Uemura HB: Tried to watch this but missed, hit routine though!

Maksim Kan FX: Nice front full to double front and then triple full down the side.

David Ramirez SR: Hit routine, great double double dismount!

Jackson Harrison VT: Yurchenko 2.5, good landing! Also hit his second vault.

7:31 pm. Rotation 1 Standings

1. Parker Thackston 15.325
2. David Shamah 14.808
3. Fred Richard 14.050
4. Landon Simpson 13.800
5. Arun Chhetri 13.752
6. Joshua Karnes 13.602
7. Garrett Schooley 13.600
8. Alex Nitache 13.500

7:30 pm. David Shamah PB: I came into this late so wasn’t quick hitting, saw a one-arm pirouette go slightly awry but everything else looked good from what I saw!

7:28 pm. Shane Wiskus SR: Invert pike up through to straddle planch, drops his hips slightly before going into the maltese, arches over the back giant handstand a bit, then short on the front to handstand, front pike saltos to straddle sit, presses to handstand, swinging a bit, stuck the double double! A little deep but solid.

Tate Costa FX: I wasn’t typing but everything I saw was hit! Some bounces and steps but a hit routine.

Jesse Pakele PH: Strong circle work into the dismount, I think I only saw the last 5 seconds of that.

7:26 pm. Brian Solomon SR: His teammates are here and are loving life. Good routine from what I saw, a little shaky in the handstand before the dismount, double double with a deep lunge forward.

7:23 pm. Yul Moldauer PH: Russians into circles went well, really nice aggressive flair work, ooh, great extension, easy transition to circles but has to then muscle the dismount a bit, gets it around.

Fuzzy Benas FX: Think he started with a 2.5 to double front, then had a strong double double. Triple full down the side, good!

Alex Nitache HB: saw the Cassina and the triple back dismount, fab dismount!

7:22 pm. Charlie Larson VT: Noooo, sat the Yurchenko 2.5.

7:20 pm. David Ramirez PH: Got a little clunky with some scissor work but moved well into the circles after.

Maksim Kim HB: HB: Nice stalder Tkachev. Legs apart on the Kolman and then off on the Kovacs. Tucked double double dismount.

Garrett Schooley FX: Double front to start then I think a full-twisting double layout, great! Rest of the routine was really strong.

7:18 pm. Fred Richard VT: Kas 1.5 with a lean and hop forward.

Sasha Bogonosiuk FX: Saw the 2.5 to front tuck, which was really nice. Also saw a full-in, chest down and a hop forward, that was the end.

7:16 pm. My best views are rings, floor and kinda high bar I think? Oh and vault. So I may forget pommels and p-bars exist occasionally but will try to get what I can!

7:13 pm. Touch underway for the first rotation!

7:09 pm. Athletes are marching out now! Big cheers for comeback boys Shane Wiskus and Yul Moldauer.
