3:33 pm. Camilo Vera COL SR: You already know what I’m gonna say I fear – we didn’t see this routine. 🙂 13.433 (4.9, 8.533)
Edward Gonzales PER PB: Hit routine! Had a half pirouette where he had to adjust a hand, but overall a hit. Double pike dismount with a step forward.
3:32 pm. Angel Barajas COL SR: Aaaaand the stream didn’t show this one either. Love that the direction of this stream is “definitely do not show the top contenders.” 13.266 (4.9, 8.366)
3:31 pm. Yul Moldauer USA SR: They also didn’t show this. 13.133 (5.0, 8.133)
Jose Lopez PUR VT: 13.666 (4.8, 8.866)
3:30 pm. Daniel Chica ECU PB: Really nice air on his Bhavsar! Super smooth at first on the Tippelt but then had to adjust his legs. Pirouette coming out was a bit short and then he sadly sat the double front dismount. 11.466 (4.2, 7.266)
3:28 pm. Elel Wahrmann Baker JAM VT: 12.466 (3.6, 8.866)
René Cournoyer CAN SR: We didn’t see this on the stream. 12.400 (5.0, 7.400)
Argenis Castaneda CUB PB: 11.066 (3.5, 7.566)
3:22 pm. Xavier Olasz CAN SR: Straddle planche to iron cross, inverted hang pressed up to pike sit, rolls forward out of it into piked saltos to handstand, arches a bit but finds his position, back giant to handstand, double double dismount with a hop forward. Pretty good! 12.033 (4.0, 8.033)
3:19 pm. Diogo Soares BRA SR: Pike sit, presses out to handstand well, ooh he’s so still! Piked and tucked saltos to handstand also go well. Back giant to handstand had a little correction. Full-twisting double layout, hop forward to control. 12.266 (4.0, 8.266)
Chame Cumbermack TTO VT: 13.633 (4.4, 9.233)
3:17 pm. Diorges Escobar CUB SR: Pike sit pressed to handstand, minor wobbles, back giant to handstand is a bit wobblier and not held super well, saltos to ….supposed to be pike sit I think but was just kinda hanging. Presses that to handstand and then dismounts with a double double, that looked pretty good. 11.433 (3.6, 7.833)
Mario Taperio GUA VT: 13.066 (4.4, 8.666)
3:15 pm. Santiago Mayol ARG SR: Iron cross, inverted hang to planche, didn’t look held long enough, into a back giant to handstand, a little arched. Piked and tucked saltos to handstand, a little muscling there, full-twisting double layout dismount was a bit short and he had to leap out of the landing. 11.400 (4.3, 7.100)
Jefferson Garcia GUA VT: 13.033 (4.4, 8.633)
3:10 pm. Rotation 2 Standings
1. Angel Barajas COL 26.799
2. Camilo Vera COL 26.233

5. Xavier Olasz CAN 25.733
6. René Cournoyer CAN 25.533
7. Diogo Soares BRA 25.499
8. Daniel Chica ECU 24.866
3:07 pm. Angel Barajas COL PH: Wasn’t typing for this and think I missed the very beginning but he was safely through from what I saw, slight muscle on the dismount but who hasn’t done that today? 13.266 (5.7, 7.566)
3:05 pm. Yul Moldauer USA PH: Beginning was fine, REALLY aggressive into the flairs, love! Stays in flairs for the majority of the routine, but then REALLY has to muscle the handstand at the end, loses steam a bit but pushes up into it and ends up making it safely through. 13.233 (5.3, 7.933)
3:04 pm. Argenis Castaneda CUB VT: Good score for him here! 14.000 (4.8, 9.200)
3:03 pm. René Cournoyer CAN PH: Some leg separation in early circles but regains control. Travels in Russians and then Russians at the end are slow and steady, some notable leg form breaks before and into the handstand for the dismount though. 13.133 (4.7, 8.433)
3:01 pm. Camilo Vera COL PH: Got a little stuck in one scissor to handstand element early on but foguht through into flairs, Russians go well, travels in circles have some hip problems but travels in flairs are stronger. Goes pretty seamlessly into the dismount! Good hit. 13.000 (5.0, 8.000)
2:55 pm. Diogo Soares BRA PH: Scissors to circles, Sohn, good so far! Muscles up for the Busnari with a pretty noticeable struggle, but gets through it into the flairs, hit the dismount. 12.366 (4.7, 7.666)
2:53 pm. Diorges Escobar CUB PH: Had a bit of a leg form break and correction as he swung up around into the dismount handstand but I think otherwise this was fine from what I saw (I missed the beginning), good control throughout. 11.466
2:51 pm. Santiago Mayol ARG PH: One-arm circle was nice. Overall circles look good but loses his hip form significantly a few times. Slight muscle up into the handstand for the dismount. Solid enough hit! 12.933
2:48 pm. Xavier Olasz CAN PH: Wasn’t typing but this was a good hit routine! Only minor things throughout, solid overall. 13.000
2:44 pm. Rotation 1 Standings
1. Angel Barajas COL 13.533
2. Camilo Vera COL 13.233
3. Diogo Soares BRA 13.133
4. Jefferson Garcia GUA 12.966
5. Mario Taperio GUA 12.833
6. Yul Moldauer USA 12.833
7. Xavier Olasz CAN 12.733
8. René Cournoyer CAN 12.400
2:41 pm. Yul Moldauer USA FX: Toes out on the arabian double front, hit the randi with his chest a bit down. Triple full down the side was a little messy, step back OOB. Hit the 2.5 to front layout. Now WHY would the on-the-fly editors change camera views halfway through a pass? Insanity over here. Arabian double front half with a hop.
2:39 pm. René Cournoyer CAN FX: YAY, a routine. Front full to double front, and front double full to front layout both went well! Ugh, came up short on the double double, hands and knees down. Think he had a tucked full-in at the end. 12.400 (5.0, 7.400)
2:37 pm. Angel Barajas COL FX: WELL WE MISSED THIS. Looks like a hit at least! 13.533 (5.5, 8.033)
Camilo Vera COL FX: We also missed this. 😦 13.233 (5.5, 7.733)
2:35 pm. Some scores while we wait for the stream to stop sucking…
Jefferson Garcia GUA PH: 12.966
Mario Taperio GUA PH: 12.833
Stefano Romero ECU SR: 12.266
Jameel Ali TTO SR: 12.100
Jose Lopez PUR PH: 10.900
Chane Cumbermack TTO PH: 10.766
2:30 pm. Think we’re on a mid-rotation touch right now thus the break!
The stream is now buffering a lot as well. SIGH.
2:27 pm. Diorges Escobar CUB FX: 2.5 to double front, ugh, so close but too far back on his heels and he sits it. Lovely front double full to front layout. Double full down the side was good. Strong double double! Wraps up with a full-in, lunge back and chest down. 11.433 (4.9, 6.733, -0.2)
2:24 pm. Santiago Mayol ARG FX: Starts with a punch randi down the side, good. Front full to piked double front was too low, though, and he sits it. Front double full to front layout, ALMOST doesn’t get that layout around but arches it a bit and it goes high and short but gets it to his feet. Double full down the side. Lovely form in the double pike at the end, small hop back. 11.566 (4.9, 6.666)
2:22 pm. Xavier Olasz CAN FX: Double layout, small hop, then a double front with a hop forward. Double full down the side. Hit the 2.5, minor form in the air. Nice kick-out on the arabian double front half-out but lands with his chest a bit forward. 12.733 (4.7, 8.033)
2:20 pm. Diogo Soares BRA FX: Double double, small hop back. Front full to double front, hops forward, almost OOB but pulls back just in time. Lovely landing after the 2.5 to front layout! Arabian double front half-out had a stumble back. Mostly solid stuff in here! 13.233 (5.1, 8.133)
2:19 pm. Touch warmups should be wrapping up shortly!
2:12 pm. Athletes are being introduced!
