The way Félix Dolci is legitimately coming for this podium with a 9.500 on pommel horse if he can do what he’s capable of on high bar. Of course he’s the final competitor to maximize this ridiculous drama.

The stream weirdly cut away from his landing right to Dolci’s vault, which happened a few minutes ago lmfao. I also love Félix, I get it, they were excited.

8:16 am. Clayton Bell JAM PB: Straddle front, minor adjustments there and on the Healy, and then falls onto the bars after. Bhavsar goes well, pike sit misses the press to handstand at first but he gets there in the end. Sits the Tippelt on the bars for another fall unfortunately. Double pike, hands down. Ugh. 7.950

8:15 am. The medical team has just taken Jovi Loh off of the podium on a stretcher. Heartbroken.

8:14 am. Adam Tobin ENG SR: Maltese rolls through to iron cross, another iron cross, looked good. Tucked and piked saltos to handstand, swinging a bit and some arch. Back giant to handstand is nice. Double double, nearly stuck! Moves a foot slightly I think. 13.050

8:11 am. William Émard CAN SR: Maltese, drop to iron cross, up to planche, back giant to handstand is excellent, piked saltos to handstand, slight arch, double double with a small hop back. 13.750

8:08 am. Jovi Loh SGP PB: Opening goes well, great form in his pirouettes, strong straddle front. Unfortunately crashes the double front half and injures his knee, NOOOOOO!!! That looked very bad. 11.750

8:07 am. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL VT: Kas 1.5, fantastic in the air, a little seated in the landing but not bad, hop forward. 13.750

8:05 am. Félix Dolci CAN SR: Beginning went well, maltese was lovely, planche also very strong, back giant to handstand, some swinging there, piked saltos to handstand with great control, stuck the double double! Great comeback after pommels. 13.850

8:02 am. Marios Georgiou CYP SR: Rolls through to iron cross. Another roll to iron cross. Pike sit pressed up to handstand, nicely controlled. Pike saltos up to handstand also great. Back giant to handstand, kinda falls out of it and has to muscle it back up. Double double dismount, step back. Mostly very strong! 12.350

Jesse Moore AUS VT: Handspring double front, looked excellent! Saw it in the background of rings at first, but they replayed it later on and he stuck it COLD! 13.850

8:01 am. Tapan Mohanty IND PB: Pike sit, clean press to handstand. Bhavsar, pike sit after also pressed to a nice handstand. Lovely Tippelt. Healy out to handstand was superb. Underswing back to pike sit, presses to a lovely handstand once again. Double pike is short with a leap forward but this was so good otherwise. 12.450

Ritam Malik AUS VT: Looked like a solid Kas full! 13.350

8:00 am. Reuben Ward SCO SR: Press up to the handstand was iffy, but otherwise a good set. Double double dismount with a great landing. 12.250

7:59 am. Cameron Lynn SCO VT: Kas 1.5, excellent! Step forward but tons of power! 13.700

7:55 am. Touch underway for the third rotation!

3. Elliot Vernon, Wales, 25.850
4. Ritam Malik, Australia, 25.700

7. William Émard, Canada, 24.950
8. Chane Cumbermack, Trinidad & Tobago, 24.900

7:52 am. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL SR: Hit everything well, handstands looked clean, double double was excellent, maybe stuck! 11.900

7:50 am. William Émard CAN PH: Scissors up to handstand down to scissors, a little muscle in the handstand but nice fight. Circles, travels in Russians, leg separation, but gets into the dismount well. 11.850

7:49 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL SR: Great planche down to iron cross out to inverted maltese. Piked to tucked saltos up to handstand, excellent. Back giant to handstand and a double double dismount with a tiny hop. 12.550

Chane Cumbermack TTO VT: 13.600

7:47 am. Luke Whitehouse ENG PH: Circles across both pommels well, Russians on the single pommel, travles in Russians right into Russians at the end of the horse, more Russian travels, into the circles, hits his leg on the horse as he’s about to push up into the handstand for the dismount, fall. Remounts and repeats it well. Ugh. 10.850

7:46 am. Jesse Moore AUS SR: Wasn’t typing but everything looked solid, double double dismount had a step. 12.550

7:43 am. Félix Dolci CAN PH: Scissors to handstand down to circles on both handles, Sohn, Russians between the handles, hand positions go awry and he comes off. Back on and repeats the Russians but then loses it as he transitions to the circles this time and falls again. Back on for circles, Russians down the horse and at the end of the horse, some leg separation there and going into the dismount. 9.500

Clayton Bell JAM VT: Beautiful big Kas full! 13.450

7:42 am. Ritam Malik AUS SR: Saltos to handstand, a little short at first but gets there. Next handstand is better. Good double double dismount, small hop. 12.400

Jovi Loh SGP VT: Nice Kas full! 13.150

7:41 am. Marios Georgiou CYP PH: Starts off well, circles on the single pommel into a Sohn back to circles, some leg separation but he fights back through it, transitions down to travel, gets into the dismount well but falls out of the pirouette too early. Makes it to his feet but that will likely take his score down a bit. 12.800

7:40 am. Cameron Lynn SCO SR: Wasn’t typing but this was a great routine capped off with a massive triple back dismount! 12.650

Georgios Angonas CYP VT: 13.000

7:39 am. Reuben Ward SCO PH: Gets through the scissors well at the start, and Russians on the single pommel, hip clearance is amazing on his circles both on the single pommel and while traveling back and forth, then travels in Russians, seamless into the dismount, minor adjustments in the pirouette, but this was a fantastic routine. 14.100

Tapan Mohanty IND VT: 12.700

7:37 am. Elliot Vernon WAL SR: Front pike up to pike sit down to iron cross, nice. Inverted pike into his piked and tucked saltos up to handstand, slight adjustments there, and on the back giant to handstand. Super clean piked double front dismount, stuck! 12.450

7:36 am. Adam Tobin ENG PH: I did not make it quickly enough to quick hit this but it was a solid hit routine! 12.700

Harry Eyres IOM VT: 10.550

7:31 am. Touch for the second rotation is underway!

ROTATION 1

7:29 am. Standings

1. Félix Dolci, Canada, 13.450
2. Elliot Vernon, Wales, 13.400
3. Ritam Malik, Australia, 13.300
4. Marios Georgiou, Cyprus, 13.150
5. William Émard, Canada, 13.100
6. Luke Whitehouse, England, 12.950
7. Reuben Ward, Scotland, 12.800
8. Adam Tobin, England, 12.550

7:26 am. Luke Whitehouse ENG FX: Noooooo, triple back looks short, pulls back and sits it! Front double full to double front is great. Punch randi down the side. Hop on the piked double front. Good triple full down the side. A little low in the double double but still lands it well. 12.950

Clayton Bell JAM SR: 10.000

7:25 am. Daniel Stoddart NZL PH: Gets through this well, it’s a mostly simple set but he makes it through well up until the dismount with just noticeable hip form deductions, gets up into the handstand for the dismount but breaks at the hips mid-pirouette and has to take a moment to press back up to handstand before dismounting. 10.450

7:23 am. Félix Dolci CAN FX: Front full to piked double front, step forward OOB. 2.5 to double front, excellent! Triple full down the side with a small hop. Small bounce on the double double. Lovely control and extension in the Y scale. Double pike with a small hop back.

7:22 am. Jesse Moore AUS PH: Scissors to circles to flairs, little adjustment into them but gets through them very well. Sohn, moves to Russians on the single pommel but hand work looks a bit off as he goes to transition from Russians to circles and he falls there. Back on for single pommel circles, travels well, good into the dismount. 12.500

7:20 am. Marios Georgiou CYP FX: Front full to double front, excellent landing. Front double full. Lovely 2.5 to front layout. Clean double pike, small hop back. 13.150

Jovi Loh SGP SR: 11.300

7:18 am. Ritam Malik AUS PH: Scissors to circles, nice Sohn, circles and Russians on the other pommel after that, transitions between both and one a few times, then down to the horse to travel, smooth up to the dismount, nothing super difficult at the end but a nice solid set overall. 13.300

Georgios Angonas CYP SR: 11.700

7:17 am. Reuben Ward SCO FX: Front full to double front, little slip and toes are OOB I think. Randi went well. Triple full, heels are right on the line there, maybe OOB. Lovely 2.5 to front layout, small hop forward. Clean double pike with a small hop. 12.800

7:15 am. Tapan Mohanty IND SR: Roll through to iron cross. Press up to another iron cross, to maltese, front saltos to pike sit, press to handstand, clean at first but arches over a bit after. Back giant to handstand is also a bit arched and swingy. Full-twisting double layout with a step. 12.000

Cameron Lynn SCO PH: Had a fall when his legs came apart going into a circle. 11.800

7:14 am. Elliot Vernon WAL PH: Scissors to circles, good single pommel work right away, then transitions to both and back to one, Russians on the single, really nice work! Travels forwards and back, lovely press up to the handstand for the dismount, gets it around cleanly! 13.400

7:12 am. Adam Tobin ENG FX: Really deep landing on the piked double front, takes a huge step back, great save. The next pass was nice in the air and landed well, also had a 2.5 to front layout and triple full IIRC, and clean double full down the side. Clean and stuck double pike to finish. 12.550

7:11 am. Alexander Niscoveanu WAL PH: Didn’t type fast enough to quick hit this but this was a mostly good routine up until the end, had a lot of nice variety, but missed his hands after transitioning from the single pommel circles down to the end of the horse. The rest went well after remounting. 12.450

Harry Eyres IOM SR: 10.900

7:09 am. William Émard CAN FX: Front full to double front, good! Front double full to front layout. Strong triple full down the side, hop forward. Lovely 2.5 to barani. Arabian double front half with a small hop. 13.100

Chane Cumbermack TTO SR: 11.300
