Hezly Rivera
The reigning U.S. national champion, Hezly Rivera, is set to compete again at U.S. Championships in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend after missing out on other meets this summer following a minor injury at Pan Ams in June.
Rivera, a member of the gold medal-winning Olympic team in 2024, also missed out on world championships last year due to an injury, but when she’s been healthy she’s consistently stood out as the strongest U.S. all-arounder this quad, so hopefully the rest of this season will be smooth sailing for her and we’ll finally see her make her worlds debut this fall.
The WAG roster at nationals this year also includes three-time Olympic medalist Jade Carey, 2025 worlds competitors Skye Blakely, Dulcy Caylor, and Leanne Wong, 2026 U.S. Classic champion Reese Esponda, and 2025 junior world vault champion Lavi Crain, who will finally make her senior debut after moving from GAGE to World Champions Centre early this year.
On the MAG side, we’re missing last year’s national champion Asher Hong as well as the 2025 world rings champion Donnell Whittenburg, both of whom are recovering from injuries, but we’ll see Olympic medalists Fred Richard and Stephen Nedoroscik in the mix along with 2020 Olympians Yul Moldauer and Shane Wiskus, both back on the national stage after missing out last summer, 2025 world bronze medalist Patrick Hoopes, and 2025 junior world medalists Danila Leykin and Dante Reive.

In the U.S., all senior sessions will air live on NBCSN and on Peacock, with the exception of the second day of senior WAG competition, which will be on NBC and Peacock. All junior sessions will stream live on the USA Gymnastics YouTube, and viewers outside of the U.S. can watch ALL sessions on YouTube.
