2:15 pm. Reuben Ward GBR PH: Scissors to circles, Russians on the single pommel, to circles on the pommel, careful and controlled, travels well in circles then in Russians, mostly good extension until the very end, nails the dismount, GOD HE DESERVES THIS MOMENT. 14.433!

2:12 pm. Thomas Mejia COL PB: Missed a handstand and fell onto the bar, ugh. Also got sketchy in a full pirouette with his leg form. Hit the Tippelt, arched over on the handstand before the Bhavsar, press handstand was nice, full-in off the end of the bars, a bit short with a hop. 12.266

ROTATION 1
2:03 pm. Arseniy Dukhno RUS PH: Going back in time to watch this. Had some minor leg sepration on early circles, nice single pommel Russians, travels in Russians, minor hip form, same with the circle travels, rushed the pirouette in the dismount but ultimately a hit! 13.833

1:59 pm. Kameron Nelson USA SR: Had a nice planche, a little wobbly in a giant to handstand but loved the way he lowered down into the inverted cross, to iron cross, fab series. Back giant to handstand had a little bobble, looked like he stuck the triple back! 13.366
1:56 pm. Doi Ryosuke JPN FX: Triple double, step back. 2.5 to double front, tiny bounce. 3.5 down the side, CASUAAAAL. Good landing. Nice on the front full to randi. Wobbles a bit in the Y scale. Dobule dobule with a step, think his heel is either OOB or right on the line. 13.733

1:42 pm. God I hate Peacock broadcasts so much, give me my multiple chaotic individual apparatus streams! We’re of course watching an ad while Hashimoto Daiki is on floor. I think they’re waiting for Shane Wiskus to go up on rings because Murica.
Based on live scores, the comp should be starting now.
1:35 pm. Touch warmups should begin shortly! The final groups of athletes are walking in now.
1:32 pm. Athletes are being introduced now!
If you missed qualifications, I did a quick recap after they finished so you can catch up before today’s competition.
1:26 pm. The team final will begin in about four minutes!
I’m watching on Peacock, which definitely will not show every routine, but I’ll try to share scores for routines that we don’t see.
Full disclosure that I am also working my day job so might need to step away from time to time but I’m also excited to see how good I am at multitasking.
Let’s gooooooooo!
