Earlier today, USA Gymnastics announced the athletes set to compete at the 2014 P&G Championships to be held in Pittsburgh, Penn., later this month.

The list doesn’t include any surprises from what we previously reported following the Secret U.S. Classic, aside from the inclusion of Grace Quinn. Quinn competed only two events at the U.S. Classic, but later requested to petition through to Championships due to a nagging injury. Two other junior gymnasts attempted to petition through as well, but Quinn’s was the only one accepted.

The field is headlined by 2013 World Champion Simone Biles and 2012 Olympic gold medalist and three-time 2013 World silver medalist Kyla Ross. The pair just captured the U.S. Classic gold and silver all-around medals while picking up multiple event medals as well.

Other seniors in attendance include 2014 Secret U.S. Classic bronze medalist Maggie Nichols as well as 2013 national team members Alyssa Baumann, Madison Desch, Peyton Ernst, Rachel Gowey, Nica Hults, Amelia Hundley, Madison Kocian, and MyKayla Skinner.

Performances at U.S. Nationals will determine the senior and junior national teams for the 2014-2015 season and begin the process of team selection for this year’s World Championships. In addition, the 2014 Senior Pan American Championships team will also be selected and announced at the conclusion of the competition.

The P&G Championships will be held August 21 through August 24.
