What the heck happened with Filipa’s second vault? A 2.0 in neutral deductions?! What does that mean?

It’s because she didn’t do two from different families! You’ll see that a lot at smaller nationals…they want to allow girls the chance to compete in the vault final because so few have two different family vaults, so they just let them do two of the same family but then have to take the 2 point deduction. This was also the case at Australian nationals, where only 2 gymnasts had different family vaults and yet I believe 6-8 or something like that were still in the final and all had to take the 2 point deductions.
