Wonderful to see the Belarus team competing! The Japanese team doing so well too, they will be a force to reckon with in Tokyo. Nice to see Yevgenia Shelgunova getting into the medals too, she has worked so hard to stay in the first team. Congratulations to all the medal winners
Is there a follow-up to the Belarus story in the pipeline? Also, is it possible for you to look into the Azerbaijan Artistic/Acrobatic championship held 3rd-5th Dec? Would make for an interesting comparison. The details are on their local websites. Personally, I think what Yulia Inshina, Marina Nekrasova and co. are doing over there is wonderful
As always, a big thankyou to the gymternet team

Heh I was thinking about the Belarus girls too – good to see that Valeriya hasn’t become disgusted by gymnastics and is still around competing (and medalling!). It would have been kind of funny to see Kylie and Alaina there too but I don’t think that competing for team Belarus outside of Worlds/Olympic Test Events is really on their agenda.
And yay Evgeniya, and yay Anastasia, and YAY MARIA KHARENKOVA who is just so lovely to watch!
