Where’s Flavia Saraiva?

Apparently she’s fine; they just don’t want to burn her out.

Really upset that Titarsolej isn’t even an alternate. I was really hoping she would make it 😔

Titarsolej injured her ankle (slightly). I don’t know what she has exactly but that is my guess why she is not an alternate.

Happy that Rebeca upgraded bars, but she desperately needs upgrades on the other three (especially the Amanar) if she wants to be an individual contender. I feel like if she recovers the difficulty she had before, she’ll be a dark horse for vault, all around and floor as well as the possibility of being a finalist on uneven bars.

Rebeca is training the Amanar and looking great! Georgette Vidor, Brazilian team coordinator, has said that she’ll do the Amanar on the Olympic Games. Also, she’ll add back her 1,5 twist double back on floor.

I hope so! Do you happen to know if she’ll do 2 vaults for the olympics?

Unfortunately not. All the Brazilians are training just one vault.

No, She will not attempt vault finals….

If you add notes the Dutch team (The three best per apparatus) for a total 173,200, 3 points higher than GB in European! Great future for the Dutch team

One must think there’s some sort of domestic inflation though right?

Though the point still stands. The Dutch seem to be on quite the upswing which is exciting since they definitely have a very different approach to the sport.
