  1. Update on Seda: I only know about VT and FX because there were no videos currently on her bars or beam.
    VT: She did her DTY and basically landed with her knees touching but stood up super quickly.
    FX: She didn’t do her DLO or her Whip Whip Double tuck, but she did prepare for the front tumbling rule, with a 2.5 front layout, and a front full to front double (?).
    Pretty sure she fell on beam or was just suuuper downgraded. Probably same with bars.

    • To be fair to Seda this is just after the olympics, so her training has probably been minimal to off & on. Plus, my guess is that this competition wasn’t for experience since she now has plenty, but rather to try routines that abide to the new code. Nerves probably aren’t the problem because this is a pretty low profile meet and there were no stakes at hand. If seda doesn’t make it to worlds next year it won’t be because she didn’t perform well at this meet. I don’t think we could ask anything more of Seda this year after what she did for her team in Rio. Seda hit 8 for 10 in Rio, and the only one she hurt was herself in the AA which was sad, and I was really thought and hoped that she would make beam final at some point, but she has done a lot of justice for herself after the olympics, and proved everyone who said that her selection on the team would be detrimental to the teams success wrong.
