Any reason given why Sae only did vault and not floor?

Guessing they didn’t want to push it? She looked tired at worlds (slash all season long) so not really worth it to keep doing it at this point in the year. She even downgraded vault, so yeah, probably just holding back so she can focus on next year.

Queen SANNEEE WINS GOLD AT LAST! Also, how tf did MDJDS beat Eremina on bars? I love her but Elena is a far superior bar worker.

My guess is that Eremina tried to do the nabieva + pak + chow 1/2, but had a major error on the pak + chow 1/2 (like worlds). Her e-score being 8.466 probably suggests a sizable error. that said, MDJDS is actually amazing on bars. Her form is excellent and her d-score is going up.

I didn’t see the competition but that sounds likely as to why Elena came in second. Melanie has really good form and rhythm so that gives her an advantage against bar routines with risky combinations. I’m happy for her!

That combo is mighty impressive but it’s a bit too complicated for her to do without deductions. I hope she forgets the tenth in D and goes for execution.

How is there NO footage of this yet? So many A-list gymnasts at this meet, kind of surprising.

What is going on with Helene Schäfer of Germany? So Germany is losing what I thought would be huge talent, such a shame she got really bad (sorry for the word but I don’t know how to describe it, English is not my first language). I’m suprised with Voss though, she was great!

Unfortunately Helene was sick last weekend, she had a bad cold! Bars went well, but she had a fall on beam and a fall on floor!

But her last competitions weren’t that great either.. Not as desastrous as this one but still not great.. I wonder if they do something wrong with her training or she had a growth spurt or anything like that.. It’s weird she was so great at age 13/14..

She has back pain during the whole year and therefore couldn’t present all her difficulties. I hope that 2018 will be a better year for her.
Also Sarah Voss finally cold show what she is capable of, I hope all the best for her in 2018.

Sae Miyakawa did a 5.8 D vault? The only vault with that difficulty that I know is the Amanar.

A rudi also has a 5.8 d-score, which is Sae’s normal first vault.
