Regarding the French team, Jim Zona was injured during the qualifications of the EnBW team competition in Stuttgart and is off the team.
Julien Gobaux had an arm injury during training and had an operation a couple of days ago. He’s also out.
I don’t know yet if they’ll be replaced or if the federation will send just a team of 5. Maybe Edgar Boulet?

Thanks! I thought I heard about Jim Zona’s injury but wasn’t sure what had happened…didn’t know about Julien though. 😦 Hopefully Edgar gets to go!

For Jim: bad reception on vault and injury to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), just less than a year after a rupture of the Achilles’ tendon. That’s tough. 😕
Julien’s injury seems minor and I hope he’ll recover by Worlds. Edgar doesn’t seem to have been asked to join in, which I don’t really understand because he can have decent results on HB, floor and vault. 🤔
Filip Lidbeck from Sweden got injured in Stuttgart too (on floor) but I don’t know how serious this is.

Thank you! That’s awful about Jim. Thanks for the info about Julien and Filip as well!
