8:04 pm. Natasha Lopez FX: Double pike. She has “Sweet dreams are made of these” and Alicia had “Stairway to Heaven” so I’m really feeling this rotation on floor. Front tuck through to double full is excellent on the landing. Double tuck to her hands and knees. 😦
Noella Price BB: Bhs loso, a little wobble. Side aerial, side somi, both good. Hit the dismount.
8:00 pm. Alicia Wendland FX: High double tuck, chest just a little down on the landing. HUGE air on her 1.5, into a clean front tuck. Great 2.5 at the end. HELLO CHAMP!
Kaitlin Roopnarine BB: SUPERB bhs bhs loso. Switch to split jump to sissone. Oof, double tuck starts out super high and she looks like she has it, but then she goes a bit too long with it and ends up stumbling it back and sitting it. 😦
7:59 pm. Ella Mayerhoper UB: Mostly good, just got a little muscly out of one of her handstands and think she had to adjust but the rest was good enough to kind of balance that.
7:56 pm. Anastasia Smolev BB: Nice mount choreo and she had a solid back pike series. A little short on her switch side. Side aerial overrotates too far and she falls. 😦 Front aerial to split jump to sissone, good connection work. Layout full dismount is clean and solid.
Gabriela Berridge FX: Sat her first pass. 😦 1.5 to front tuck.
Aurélie Tran UB: Pak, clear hip tostalder to toe shoot, nice. Blind change to front giant half, nice open double tuck!
7:54 pm. Teagan Shaver UB: Clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, blind full, blind change to front giant half, double layout!! Excellent, step back. She had a fantastic day!
7:52 pm. Lily Sihapanya FX: Double pike slid back into a lunge. Front full to front tuck. UGHHHHH, double tuck just too far forward, rolls forward out of it. Her coach is like wtf? Same. She looked like she had it until the very last second.
Victoria Duchesne BB: I missed the beginning of this…did good work from what I did see, though, and hit her double full dismount super well!
7:50 pm. Evandra Zlobec UB: Stalder to toe-on to clear hip to toe- shot, misses her toes, does it again and gets it. That’s happened to roughly 75% of the gymnasts today. Muscled out of her blind change and couldn’t get the front handstand up, had to hop off. Back on and hit the dismount.
7:47 pm. Victoriane Charron FX: Split jump full. Double tuck, little stumble. Switch to switch half. Second pass into a stag jump, lovely. Double pike with a lunge. She’s fantastic, I don’t believe she’s only 11.
Becca Mitchell BB: Nailed her flight series. Went for a Kochetkova and had a hard fall. 😦
Athena Hutchinson UB: Toe-on to toe shoot, nice, and hit her front layout half dismount.
7:46 pm. Sophie Patterson UB: Clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, blind change to front giant, double tuck stuck cold. Lovely!
7:43 pm. Sofia Spadafora UB: HA I caught the first bars worker this time! Clear hip, missed her toes on a toe-on after that and had to do it again, toe-on to toe shoot, arched over a handstand after and had to come off. Back on for a blind change to front giant half, double tuck with a great landing.
Amy Jorgensen FX: Double pike, step back. Solid switch to switch half. Hit her middle pass. Good double full to finish.
Camille Lefort BB: Good flight series. Front aerial into a jump, little wobble, 1.5 with a step. Good!
7:42 pm. Rotation 7 Standings
1. Alicia Wendland 95.983
2. Amy Jorgensen 92.658
3. Victoriane Charron 90.050
4. Lily Sihapanya 89.966
5. Natasha Lopez 89.566
6. Jenna Lalonde 89.125
7. Jenna Timmons 88.333
8. Aaliyah de Sousa 87.458
7:41 pm. Wendland BB 13.150
7:39 pm. Jenna Timmons FX: Double pike looked nice in the air, just some big steps back out of it. Great leap extension. Double tuck ends up being super low, doesn’t go to her knees at least!
Berridge BB 10.800, Pfister FX 13.375
7:36 pm. Alicia Wendland BB: Lovely flight series and leap series, super clean double wolf turn right into CHOREO OMGGGGGGG WHAT A QUEEN. Side aerial, tiniest wobble, transverse straight jump full, double full with a hop.
7:34 pm. Olivia Pfister FX: Excellent front tuck through to double tuck. Double pike is also fab. 2.5, little stumble forward. Great routine!
Someone’s screaming “COME ON BRENNA” and it might be me just cheering in general for Brenna Dowell’s life
Sihapanya BB 13.725, Phillis FX 11.200,
7:31 pm. Gabriela Berridge BB: Full turn, little wobble, super solid bhs loso, clean side aerial, split jump to sissone, nice in the air on her transverse jump but is too far back and falls. Switch leap to back tuck, step back. 1.5 with a big step. She’s not very happy. 😦
7:29 pm. Jordanna Phillis FX: Her music is super quiet. Which is silly because it’s kinda upbeat and fun. Stumbled back a crazy double tuck landing and looks like she’s trying not to cry throughout the next bit of choreo…some facial gymnastics in there tbh. Hits the second pass and she looks better emotionally haha. Double full and a 2.5 to finish, both pretty solid.
7:28 pm. Lalonde FX 12.425, Roopnarine UB 11.500
7:27 pm. Lily Sihapanya BB: Side aerial to back handspring, nice! Just a slight wobble. Front aerial with a little step. Nice amplitude on the switch half. Switch to split jump, clean double tuck, chest just a bit low but otherwise great landing. Good work!
7:25 pm. Jenna Lalonde FX: Double pike to her knees. 😦 Hit her second pass and last pass.
Kaitlin Roopnarine UB: Toe-on to clear hip to toe shoot, a little dead hangy, beautiful lines, front giant work has some bent knees, hit the dismount very well. She’s thrilled!
Smolev UB 10.300, Charron BB 13.475
7:23 pm. Anastasia Smolev UB: Hit routine, I saw all of it but wasn’t typing. Mostly the simple skills with no release we’ve seen for the majority of this meet!
Jorgensen BB 14.175, McLean FX 12.350
7:20 pm. Victoriane Charron BB: Bhs loso, great start, full L turn is lovely and super controlled, side aerial, switch leap to split leap, beautiful extension, front aerial, little bobble, back tuck is perfect, double full with a baby step. BEAUTIFUL.
Ava Lee McLean FX: Big switch side at the start. Nice double tuck, little step. 1.5 to front layout is excellent. Hit the last pass,
Victoria Duchesne UB: Clea rhip to toe on to stalder to Ray, nice. Blind change to front giant half, full-in super close to the bar but done and landed very nicely!
7:19 pm. Mayerhoper VT 13.150, Spadafora VT 13.150, Mitchell UB 10.600, Lefort UB 10.900, Therrien FX 10.525
7:17 pm. Amy Jorgensen BB: Candle mount, I wasn’t typing during the rest, I thought she had a fall on some acro at one point but her score came in pretty high so idk!
Virginie Therrien FX: Lovely double spin. Some truly excellent choreo in there. Hit her opening pass. Front layout, OOF, comes up short and she tries to punch out of it into a full and almost lands it to her head. That was scary. The look on her face was priceless though.
Becca Mitchell UB: Didn’t see this, it was short and sweet. Good double tuck at the end.
7:15 pm. Camille Lefort UB: Clear hip to toe on, a little arched, toe circle and then jumps to the high bar, front layout dismount.
Price UB 10.000, De Sousa FX 12.625
7:13 pm. Natasha Lopez BB: Bhs loso, little bobble. Transverse split jump half is nice. Little bobble on the full turn. Switch to split jump, a little shy with her legs. Layout full with a step.
Aaliyah de Sousa FX: Double pike, good. Hit her second pass with huuuuge smiles. Same with the last pass. Good work.
7:12 pm. Bars started mad early again so I missed the first routine. Believe it was Noella Price.
7:11 pm. Rotation 6 Standings

2. Amy Jorgensen 78.483

7:08 pm. Phillis BB 11.675, Zlobec FX 12.175
7:05 pm. Olivia Pfister BB: Solid bhs loso! Sadly off on her side somi. Stuck her double full!
Teagan Shaver FX: Okay she’s the one with the most extra beam sass ever, I hope her floor is similar. Okay ever her oepning pose is. We’re in luck. Awesome handspring choreo at the beginning. Big double pike. Good work on her leaps. Great front full. Clean double tuck landed with a big smile. Great work.
7:03 pm. Hutchinson FX 12.475, Lalonde BB 12.725
7:01 pm. Jordanna Phillis BB: Got a bit wonky halfway through her double wolf turn, fell. 😦 Bent knees on her bhs loso, hit her leap series, goes for a 2.5 dismount, a little underrotated and she has to take a big step but solid difficulty from her.
Evandra Zlobec FX: Double tuck is good, just a step. 1.5 to front tuck is also solid. Lunges back on the double full at the end. Nice!
7:00 pm. Patterson FX 12.950, Sihapanya UB 11.700, Berridge UB 11.275, Smolev VT 13.100, McClean BB 11.225
6:57 pm. Gabriela Berridge UB: Bail to nice stalder to clear hip to toe-on…trying to get a half turn out of it but she is a bit arched, gets it back under control though and finally gets that half piroutte in. Toe shoot, blind full, double tuck a little low and close to the bar.
Athena Hutchinson FX: Double tuck, chest a little low. 1.5 to front tuck. Hit the last pass, a double full I believe.
Jenna Lalonde BB: Lovely press mount. Nice bhs loso and Onodi! Had a wobble on a leap, and then goes for a side aerial to jump series, really nice. 1.5 with a big hop to finish, great work.
6:56 pm. Charron UB 12.900, Mayerhoper FX 12.150, de Sousa BB 12.050, Spadafora FX 13.375, Duchesne VT 10.950, Mitchell VT 13.100, Therrien BB 11.150,
6:54pm. Sophie Patterson FX: Hit her opening double pike. Rebecca Bross’ 2010 music. Good double tuck at the end.
Lily Sihapanya UB: Had some form breaks early on but got back in the swing of things to finish well. Solid double tuck dismount.
Ava Lee McLean BB: Had a fall on a wild full turn but I think she hit everything else.
6:53 pm. Victorianne Charron UB: Okay her attempt just now was real, I wasn’t typing though. But she hit it!
6:49 pm. Sofia Spadafora FX: Really excellent 2.5 at the end!
Virginie Therron BB: I think she had two falls sadly.
I can’t tell if bars is going or warming up…they’re doing full routines but like, not saluting? No idea. I think the last one who actually went was Jorgensen.
6:47 pm. Lopez UB 12.150, Tran FX 13.025, Roopnarine VT 12.150, Timmons BB 13.050, Price VT 12.200, Lefort VT 10.000
6:45 pm. Aaliyah de Sousa BB: Wobbled out of her ambitious bhs bhs loso series. Switch leap to split jump. Big wobble and then a fall on her back tuck. Solid 1.5 dismount.
Ella Mayerhoper FX: Short on the double pike, big hop off the sting mat. Hit the rest very well.
Amy Jorgensen UB: Hit the opening sequence, nice stalder, full-out dismount, sadly crashed it.
6:41 pm. Jenna Timmons BB: Candle mount, full turn, side aerial, all nice. Excellent bhs loso! Little wobble after a transverse element. Beautiful extension on her switch leap. Stuck double full. THIS WAS A FREAKING BEAM ROUTINE!
Aurélie Tran FX: Really nice double pike. Lovely leaps.
Natasha Lopez UB: Stalder to bail to toe-full, a bit wild and late, and then it goes crooked…has to hop off. Back on for a toe shoot, toe half with messy ankles to front giant to front giant half, double tuck stuck. Shame about the low bar mistake but that was overall promising.
I apparently missed Alicia Wendland’s bars?! She got a 13.650. Idk how they started on bars so fast.
6:34 pm. Evandra Zlobec BB: Candle mount, bhs back tuck, a little underrotated, steps and then has a fall. Hit the leaps, and then fell again on the side somi. 😦 Transverse split jump, nice in the air. Ugh, off again on the side aerial. Finishes with a 1.5 dismount with a hop. Looks mad at herself but is also like, low key laughing through it which is so rare for this age.
Hutchinson BB 10.875, Sihapanya VT 13.900
6:32 pm. Lalonde UB 13.475, Patterson BB 13.150, Mitchell FX 9.800, Phillis UB 12.175, Duchesne 12.525
6:29 pm. Victoria Duchesne FX: Hit her opening double back and then nailed a 2.5! Good front tuck through to layout full. Her leaps were all a little short but this was very solid overall.
Athena Hutchinson BB: Back handspring mount, very nice. Off on her bhs loso. Switch to sissone, little step out of her front aerial, layout full dismount with a little hop back.
6:28 pm. Jordanna Phillis UB: Clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, piked Jaeger!! Nice. Double tuck stuck to finish. She had the weakest form in terms of how legs should look and her back was a little arched throughout but she was at the same time super confident and on the attack, which I LOVE. Get it.
6:27 pm. Charron VT 12.600, McClean UB 11.300, Spadafora BB 11.200, Lefort FX 10.225
6:24 pm. Becca Mitchell FX: She has the same name as John Lithgow’s daughter on Dexter! Crashed her opening double back. Big double full at the end.
Sophie Patterson BB: Nice switch leap, doesn’t connect to switch half but does them both on their own. Good full turn. I missed some stuff in there but no big mistakes that I saw…hit the dismount with a little step.
Jenna Lalonde UB: Missed her Jaeger. 😦 Ugh, she got it in warmups!! Back on for a nice Pak, toe shoot, and super high double tuck.
6:22 pm. Ava Lee McLean UB: Short handstand before clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, blind change to front giant, bends her knees halfway through, into a double front, which she sat. 😦 BUMMER. First fall of the day, though! Rare for a novice meet.
Lopez VT 14.600 (D bonus, my guess is she did an FTY), Mayerhoper BB 12.775, Jorgensen VT 12.500, Price FX 12.050, Therrien UB 11.400
6:20 pm. Sofia Spadafora BB: Nice full turn! Bhs loso, big wobble but good fight. ALL of these kids have had amazing fight! Switch to sissone, front aerial with a big wobble, split jump with THE BEST TOE POINT EVER into a back tuck, pause between the two. Little bobble on her side aerial. Double full, chest down and a bit of a step.
Camille Lefort FX: 1.5 into a slightly low front tuck. Hit her second pass and had a really nice switch half in her leap series. Hit her last pass.
6:19 pm. De Sousa UB 12.650, Roopnarine FX 12.575
6:17 pm. Ella Mayerhoper BB: Bhs loso with a little shuffle. Transverse straddle jump half is great. Switch leap, low back leg and a little stumble. Good control when the full turn starts to get a bit wild. Front aerial, 1.5 dismount. Good!
Noella Price FX: Got a low set into her double pike but still gets it around no problem. She has some little balletic flairs here and there. Front tuck through to layout full with two little steps. Big step on her last pass.
Virginie Therrien UB: Short handstand before clear hip to clear hip half, toe shoot ends up a little close, arched handstand before her blind half to front giant, double tuck with a lunge back. Good fight through that!
Wendland VT 13.900
6:16 pm. Aaliyah de Sousa UB: Clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, nice handstand before her blind change to front giant half, high double tuck with a tiny bounce. Very nice work!
6:15 pm. Reminder that they use some bonuses for the novice competitors!
Tran BB 12.025, Timmons UB 11.450
6:13 pm. Kaitlin Roopnarine FX: Double pike, good, hops it back. Very nice extension on her leap series! Good on the front tuck through to double full. Chest is quite far down on the double tuck at the end but a solid set overall.
Berridge VT 13.700, Shaver 12.5 BB, Pfister 12.3 UB, Smolev 11.850 FX
6:11 pm. Aurélie Tran BB: Side aerial is nice. Switch leap, low back leg, to split jump, good. Big wobble after her bhs loso but a solid save. Front aerial, and a double full dismount with a bounce back.
Jenna Timmons UB: Clear hip to Pak, nice! Caught her toe shoot in a dead hang and has to restart her swing back in the kip cast to handstand. Blind change to front giant half, double tuck with a hop.
6:07 pm. I’m gonna skip vault for this one since I can only get three streams to work at a time without everything going haywire but spoiler alert literally everyone does a Yurchenko layout.
Teagan Shaver BB: Beautiful press mount with some fancy leg work and THEN SHE DID A SNAP AND THE SASSIEST HEAD MOVE EVER DEAR LORD. BLESS. Good jump series. Side aerial with a little bobble. Solid on the bhs loso. Front full dismount.
Anastasia Smolev FX: Good double pike to start. Comes out of the 1.5 a bit low into the front tuck but good cover. Hit the last pass.
Olivia Pfister UB: Clear hip to toe-on to toe shoot, nice. Clean lines. Blind full, high double tuck with a step.
I can’t find a stream for free for this event, do you know were to find one?

What are the novice women? Is it the Canadian equivalent of either JO Nationals or Hopes? Or is it just Jr elite?
LikeLiked by 1 person
It’s the age group below junior elite, so like espoir in most other countries. Junior elite is technically age 14-15. Only the U.S. really has junior elites at any age under 16 (as young as 10). Most other countries have a level below juniors because internationally, the age limit for juniors is 14-15 so they have junior elite for 14-15, and then hopes or espoirs or youth or novice for those about age 11-13.
