1:31 pm. Yes, it was VERY CLOSE. Lilly gets a 13.35 on bars to finish just a tenth and a half from the podium!

1:25 pm. Lilly Lippeatt UB: She needs above a 13.5 to take the senior bronze here. That’s what she normally scores on her best bars days, so we’ll see what happens! Van Leeuwen, Weiler half to Ricna to Pak, lots of leg form on all of those but gets them! Maloney to bail, short to Ray, nice handstand before her giants to a full-in with a step! It’ll be close I think!

1:22 pm. Charlotte Booth BB: A little shaky on her flight series, front aerial to straddle jump is very nice. The rest that I saw was good.

Levi Jung-Ruivivar FX: Hit her opening pass, and then a 1.5 to front layout with a step into her choreography. Switch ring to switch half. UGH, just comes in low for the double tuck and lands it on her hands and knees. So gorgeous though!

Nola Matthews UB: I missed most of this but she hit!

1:19 pm. Madray Johnson BB: Bhs loso loso, good, full turn with a slight check. Aerial into jumps, then a transverse split jump half, good double tuck with a step back. 13.150

Lexi Zeiss FX: Double tuck and 1.5 through to double full, both good! Front full to front pike with a little hop. Fabulous!

Ella Kate Parker UB: Ray, nice! Pak is clean. Stalder full a little late, toe shoot, almost sticks the double layout! She’s really improved there. That should keep her in a podium position!

1:17 pm. Hailey Klein UB: I wasn’t typing during this but she had some leg separation in a lot of her pirouetting elements, though her releases were HUGE. Jaeger, Tkachev, Pak all good. Stuck the double tuck.

1:16 pm. Ashlee Sullivan BB: Ugh, off on her standing arabian. Then again on her layout series. UGHHHH. Front aerial to straddle jump is good. Onodi. Double pike dismount. So sad about the falls.

Elle Mueller FX: 2.5 with a step forward. Good double pike. Double tuck, step back OOB.

1:15 pm. Autumn Reingold VT: Yurchenko layout, a little piked.

1:14 pm. Katelyn Jong VT: DTY, a bit messy in the air, but the landing was good. 14.3!

1:13 pm. Paloma Spiridonova BB: She came off early in her routine but I didn’t see where/didn’t see much of this at all. Stuck the 2.5 dismount. 12.700, WITH A FALL I’m pretty sure? Unless she didn’t fall and I just thought she did?

Michelle Pineda VT: FTY, I didn’t really see it.

Lucy Tobia FX: I saw all of her passes but wasn’t typing, just remember she had a double pike at the end. The rest that I saw were also strong. Think she had a 2.5 at one point? My memory is GREAT.

1:12 pm. Tiana Sumanasekera VT: FTY with a step back.

Joscelyn Roberson UB: Toe full, Maloney to clear hip, arched over and goes a little wild in her swing, gets back under control for a Tkachev, then a clear hip half, muscled to Ezhova, stuck the double layout. That clear hip will hurt her but I’m glad she stayed on! 10.950

1. Joscelyn Roberson 40.200
2. Ella Kate Parker 40.000
3. Ashlee Sullivan 38.900
4. Levi Jung-Ruivivar 38.600
5. Charlotte Booth 38.050
6. Madray Johnson 38.000
7. Nola Matthews 37.400
8. Paloma Spiridonova 36.900

1:03 pm. Lexi Zeiss BB: Triple wolf turn, perfect, then a double, also excellent. Solid bhs loso. Switch to switch half, tiny check on the front aerial, side aerial, little check in her hips, 1.5 dismount with a hop forward. Fantastic!

1:01 pm. Elle Mueller BB: A little shaky on the wolf turn, switch leap, side aerial loso is solid, probably could just extend her legs a little more, excellent punch front tuck to split jump to straddle jump, no problems with extension there!! Switch half, lovely, high double tuck with a step back. She definitely has shades of Grace McCallum.

1:00 pm. Katelyn Jong FX: Double double! Some leg form but really high and the landing was solid. Tucked full-in with a hop back. Switch to tour jeté half. 1.5 to front full. Double pike, chest a little low, feet apart, small hop.

12:59 pm. Sienna Robinson BB: Off on her flight series. Hit a jump series to back tuck, then a side aerial to split jump to wolf jump, nice. Little check on the full Y turn, but great split there. Double full with a hop back. 12.000

12:57 pm. Michelle Pineda FX: Switch half. Front double full, rotation is a little off and she has a little skid back. Great 2.5 to front tuck. Double pike, solid landing. Memmel turn. Hit the last pass. 12.000

Madray Johnson UB: Lovely first handstand before her toe full, to Maloney to Pak, just leg separation on the Pak, Ray to high, beautiful handstand before the blined chagne to piked Jaeger, very close on that one, super high stuck double tuck. 12.000

12:56 pm. Lucy Tobia BB: I missed most of this but think she stayed on, saw her hit a double tuck at the end that looked really strong!

12:54 pm. Tiana Sumanasekera FX: Big double layout to start! Solid double tuck. Switch ring to tour jeté half, looked clean on both. Double pike to finish was solid!

Ashlee Sullivan UB: Toe-on to Maloney to Pak, slight ankle separation, van Leeuwen was a little messy, Tkachev between the bars, ugh, catches close and has to take an extra swing. Hit the dismount, I think a double layout but I couldn’t see it because Tiana’s last pass blocked it hahaha. 12.350

Nola Matthews VT: FTY, a little iffy in the air and on the landing.

12:53 pm. Temple Landry BB: Front aerial, good switch to split ring jump, front leg looked low from here but I have the worst angle for splits. Bhs loso, leg form wasn’t fully there, side aerial, 1.5 dismount.

Ella Kate Parker VT: FTY, some hip pike and leg form, hop to control the landing. 13.6, seems high compared to the other FTYs that got this score but I can’t see every detail from where I am so who knows

12:52 pm. Paloma Spiridonova UB: Front giant to piked Jaeger, UGH, fall. Stalder to Pak, very clean there, arched over a handstand and had to take another swing before her toe shoot, blind full to double tuck, stuck.

Hailey Klein VT: Solid Yurchenko 1.5!

12:49 pm. Lilly Lippeatt VT: FTY, decent, small hop on the landing.

Charlotte Booth UB: Hit the beginning, caught a Tkachev and Pak, minor form things, blind change to front giant to double front, cowboyed and squatted but didn’t sit it. Close, but didn’t!

Levi Jung-Ruivivar BB: Came off early on but I missed the skill. Bhs loso with a wobble but holds on. Front aerial to split jump. Good side aerial. Switch leap to split leap, lovely. TOE POINT. 1.5 dismount. Good recovery. 12.150

Autumn Reingold FX: Double tuck, hop forward. 2.5 was very clean. Rudi is good as well. Came short out of her 1.5 at the end and missed the punch into the tuck, sat it. UGH.

Joscelyn Roberson VT: Solid FTY, think she had a step.

1. Joscelyn Roberson 26.650
2. Ashlee Sullivan 26.550
3. Levi Jung-Ruivivar 26.450
4. Ella Kate Parker 26.400
5. Kaliya Lincoln 26.100
6. Madray Johnson 26.000
7. Paloma Spiridonova 25.900
8. Charlotte Booth 25.600

12:41 pm. Ella Kate Parker FX: Piked full-in, some leg separation, but a good landing. Second pass was good, honestly couldn’t tell if it was a double or a triple, she twists so fast, I think a triple? Switch ring to tour jeté half. 2.5 to front pike, some leg form in the twist but good. Split ring leap, not fully there in how the shape should look, double pike with a good landing! 12.800

12:38 pm. Hailey Klein FX: Double layout, just pikes it slightly in the second flip, but good landing. Double tuck with a hop. Switch leap to tour jeté half. Front tuck through to double full is good, just a little soft in her leg form. Finishes with a double pike, solid landing.

12:35 pm. Michelle Pineda BB: Came off a couple of times, I think first on a wolf turn and then on her flight series. Hit a front aerial into a jump to Korbut, missed a foot on her double full dismount and I had a minor heart attack but still got it around. 9.150

12:33 pm. Joscelyn Roberson FX: Stuck the double layout!!! Arabian double front with a step. Stuck the double tuck. Step on the double pike. EXCELLENT!!!!! 12.850

Elle Mueller UB: Toe full arches over and she comes off. I missed the rest.

12:32 pm. Tiana Sumanasekera BB: I missed most of this while watching the routines below, this started like, mid-both of those, but everything I saw was hit! 12.450

12:30 pm. Lilly Lippeatt FX: Piked full-in, whip full to double tuck, casual, switch ring, 2.5 to front tuck, a little short coming out of the 2.5 but still gets to the punch no problem. Double pike with a step back.

Lucy Tobia UB: I missed the beginning, but saw her fall on her Church, ugh, she got so much air there, Pak when she gets back on, Chow to stalder to blind change, double pike with a hop to the side. 9.850 (may have come off a second time that I didn’t see?)

12:29 pm. Ashlee Sullivan VT: Yurchenko 1.5 with a step forward, I didn’t see details super closely. 14.100

12:28 pm. Autumn Reingold BB: Off on something early on and then again on her flight series. Ugh. Hit her jump series and then a lovely front aerial to Korbut. Side somi, maybe could fix her legs on that, transverse straddle jump half, clean side aerial, switch to split leap, double full with a hop back. 10.650

Kaliya Lincoln VT: Big and clean FTY! Lots of power there. 13.600

12:27 pm. Paloma Spiridonova VT: FTY, some piked hips throughout. Not a strong event for her but she gets the landing. 12.750

Levi Jung-Ruivivar UB: Toe full to Maloney to Pak to stalder to van Leeuwen, just some leg separation on the Pak and VL, toe half to piked Jaeger, nice, full-in with a step back. 13.200

12:24 pm. Madray Johnson VT: Lovely clean FTY. Tight legs all the way through. 13.600

Lexi Zeiss UB: Hit a Malony, hop change to Ezhova, nice, toe-on to van Leeuwen, blind full, some leg separation, just a step on her double tuck. Good routine!

Katelyn Jong BB: Had a couple of wolf turns but I didn’t see the rotations, both landed well. Came off on something after that but I missed the skill. Double pike also landed low and forward, pulls back and sits it. 11.400

Nola Matthews FX: Triple full to start was great! 1.5 to front full was clean as well. Double tuck, just slightly forward. 12.350

Charlotte Booth VT: Yurchenko 1.5, mostly good, just a step forward and some leg form in the air. 13.850

12:23 pm. I feel like it’s impossible to figure out the senior standings folding in these seniors with yesterday’s results.

1. Joscelyn Roberson 13.800
2. Ella Kate Parker 13.600
3. Levi Jung-Ruivivar 13.250
4. Paloma Spiridonova 13.150
5. Lucy Tobia 13.050
6. Autumn Reingold 12.950
7. Kaliya Lincoln 12.500
8. Ashlee Sullivan 12.450

12:17 pm. Kaliya Lincoln FX: I may have missed her first pass, caught from a front tuck through to double tuck, which was solid. Tour jeté half was lovely. Double pike with a hop back. Everything I saw was very good. 12.500

12:15 pm. Hailey Klein BB: She had a great double pike dismount in warmups. Good full turn. Side aerial loso, little adjustments, great punch front, transverse straight jump full, switch to straddle jump, transverse split half I think, maybe a little short, but it’s hard for me to see split angles from here, nails the double pike with just a small step back. Great! 12.700

12:14 pm. Paloma Spiridonova FX: Stuck her double pike to start. Triple spin. Hit her second pass, I wasn’t watching what it was, then a leap after, full wolf turn, clean 2.5 at the end. I’m sad I missed all of her leaps!!! 13.150

12:12 pm. Joscelyn Roberson BB: Loso mount, Onodi, front aerial to straddle jump to split jump, solid. Switch leap, transverse split jump half, transverse straight jump full, very nice work. Full turn. Nails the side aerial loso loso, awesome to see after she struggled with that in warm-ups. Excellent double pike! 13.800!

12:10 pm. Charlotte Booth FX: Full-in, skidded the landing a bit, may have gone OOB, just a rough pass in general. Front double full was better, double tuck after that but I don’t remember how it looked (love that for me), and then finished with a 2.5, which was very strong! 11.750

Tiana Sumanasekera UB: I missed all of this, I hate being so far away from bars, I never know when they’re happening! 10.550

12:09 pm. Autumn Reingold UB: Blind change to huge piked Jaeger, very clean, blind full to Pak, also gorgeous, lovely handstand before going up to the high bar, double layout with a hop. 12.950

Lilly Lippeatt BB: bhs loso, some knee form. Hit a leap series and an aerial, transverse straight jump full, then another transverse jump, a split half I think, double pike, chest low but doesn’t move her feet! 13.250

12:08 pm. Madray Johnson FX: I saw a clean double tuck and a 1.5 to front full. Double pike with a lunge back. 12.400

12:07 pm. Nola Matthews BB: Candle mount. Dropped her leg on her wolf turn and came off on her bhs loso. Clean double full. 12.100

12:06 pm. Katelyn Jong UB: Stalder full to Chow, also had a Pak, toe shoot, inbar to inbar half to piked Jaeger, caught close, may have hit her foot? But didn’t phase her. Hit the full-in dismount. 11.500

Lucy Tobia VT: FTY, I didn’t see details but she landed it. 13.050

12:05 pm. Levi Jung-Ruivivar VT: FTY with a step back. 13.250

12:04 pm. Lexi Zeiss VT: Yurchenko 1.5, maybe slightly soft in the knees for part of it, but an excellent landing! 14.100

Ashlee Sullivan FX: Tucked full-in with a small step back. Front tuck through to double tuck for the second pass, stuck! Then a double pike with a super clean landing, tiny hop. Beautiful double full to finish. This was excellent! 12.450

12:02 pm. Elle Mueller VT: FTY, clean and solid. 13.550

Michelle Pineda UB: Toe-on to toe full, then hops off right after. Hit the rest that I could see. 10.550

Ella Kate Parker BB: Hit the bhs loso, side aerial, solid on both. Everything else has looked good, just crossed ankles in her double full dismount, she’s thrilled! 13.600

12:00 pm. I said it on Twitter, but I love that this is the first junior competition basically EVER where a frontrunner isn’t super clear. There are some really strong gymnasts here – like Kaliya Lincoln, Katelyn Jong, Levi Jung-Ruivivar – but when we last saw them, none were so far ahead that they’d be dominating a meet like this.

11:58 am. The touch warmup is beginning for rotation one!

    • There were multiple seniors competing in today’s session which was a combination of seniors and juniors.

Similar to have a few years ago there were so few seniors that they added the top juniors to the senior meet.

The junior field is severely depleted due to not adding any new juniors last year when the 2004 girls were supposed to be debuting as seniors.
