The roster is out for next month’s Doha world cup, the second in a series of four that will determine the apparatus specialists who will qualify to world championships later in the year, and like the roster for Cottbus, it’s full some of the sport’s most legendary athletes currently competing all the way down to the newest senior athletes hoping to get some experience in early.

In the men’s field, we’ll see a number of 2020 Olympic medalists, including floor champion Artem Dolgopyat of Israel, rings champion Liu Yang of China, and parallel bars champion Zou Jingyuan of China, along with their teammate, all-around silver and floor bronze medalist Xiao Ruoteng, pommel horse silver medalist Lee Chih-Kai of Taiwan, vault bronze medalist Artur Davtyan of Armenia, parallel bars bronze medalist Ferhat Arican of Turkey, and high bar silver medalist Tin Srbic of Croatia.

In addition, we’ll see 2022 world pommel horse champion Rhys McClenaghan of Ireland and rings champion Adem Asil of Turkey, pommel horse silver medalist Ahmad Abu Al Soud of Jordan and bronze medalist Harutyun Merdinyan of Armenia, vault silver and parellel bars bronze medalist Carlos Yulo of the Philippines, and vault bronze medalist Igor Radivilov of Ukraine, along with a number of other world class contenders that will make this a super competitive field on pretty much every apparatus.

The women’s field isn’t quite as star-studded, but will be led by 2022 worlds vault bronze medalist Coline Devillard of France and European beam champion Emma Malewski of Germany, and will include a number of athletes who stunned in junior competition last season, including European vault champion Sabrina Voinea of Romania, national beam champion Qiu Qiyuan of China, European beam champion Anna Lashchevska of Ukraine, European and EYOF apparatus finalist and Nordic bars champion Elina Grawin of Sweden, national all-around, vault, beam, and floor champion Ruby Pass of Australia, and European and EYOF vault finalist Nazanin Teymurova of Azerbaijan, all of whom are capable of reaching finals here.

The competition will begin with qualifications on March 1. A full list of all competitors who have registered is below.

  1. Love that Chuso going to these things is so common now that she doesn’t even rate a mention in the preview anymore [LOL] #justretiredgymnastthings
