10:42 am. Rings Final Standings

1. Hamlet Manukyan, Armenia, 13.633
2. Tanida Masaharu, Japan, 13.466
3. Riccardo Villa, Italy, 13.433
4. Erik Baghdasaryan, Armenia, 13.400
5. Tsunogai Tomoharu, Japan, 13.100
6. Yang Chunjie, China, 12.966
7. Marcus Pietarinen, Finland, 12.933
8. Kai Uemura, United States, 12.433

10:38 am. Marcus Pietarinen FIN SR: Front pike to pike sit, presses to handstand, a little shaky there, front giant to handstand also had some iffy moments, then the back to handstand did as well, double tuck to double pike to front layout right into a front layout 1.5 dismount, that was fun! Little hop to the side. 12.933 (4.1, 8.833)

10:35 am. Tsunogai Tomoharu JPN SR: I caught it from the pike sit, which he did right before the saltos back to pike sit, press to handstand, front giant to handstand, a little short with some funky elbows, back giant to handstand, double double with a small step back. 13.100 (4.2, 8.900)

10:31 am. Hamlet Manukyan ARM SR: Our pommel horse champion! He’s so tiny. Inverted hang to planche, lovely form, pulls through to a pike sit, then swings through the piked and tucked saltos through to straddle sit, that was GORGEOUS, presses to handstand, super clean and tight, as is the next giant to handstand, got a little shaky on the last one, and then hit the full-in with a tiny bounce. 13.633 (4.4, 9.233)

He moves into first place!!! Unfortunately this pushes his teammate down to fourth, with Masaharu and Villa both ahead of Baghdasaryan.

10:29 am. Yang Chunjie CHN SR: Iron cross, inverted pike to saltos to pike sit, presses that up to handstand, that was nice. Muscles the giant to handstand after, then a big arch on the back giant to handstand, dismounts with a double double, chest is a little short, step on the landing. 12.966 (4.4, 8.566)

10:24 am. Tanida Masaharu JPN SR: Inverted hang with a pike through to iron cross, inverted hang with a back giant to handstand, a bit arched, front giant to handstand, double pikes and tucks, rolls through a layout up through to a straddle hold, presses to handstand, and a double double with a little hop back. Had some weak moments in there but a bit more difficulty than we’ve seen so far, he COULD take the lead. 13.466 (4.7, 8.766)

Ends up in between Manukyan and Villa, currently putting him in second place.

10:21 am. Kai Uemura USA SR: Pike hold, saltos through to pike hold, just like Villa’s routine, presses to handstand, giant to handstand was short and a bit shaky, the next one was even weaker, double double dismount, some leg form in the air and he lands REALLY short, big lunge forward. 12.433 (4.4, 8.033)

10:19 am. Riccardo Villa ITA SR: Inverted hang, L sit through to double tucks and pikes back to L sit, presses to handstand, clean, back giant to handstand, little adjustments, more adjustments on the front giant to handstand, sticks the double double dismount. 13.433 (4.4, 9.033)

He moves ahead of Baghdasaryan by a third of a tenth.

10:16 am. Erik Baghdasaryan ARM SR: L sit to pressed handstand, double pikes and tucks to handstand, a little shaky but not severe, giant to handstand was a little shaky, but he fights through it and sticks the tucked full-in dismount. Great work! 13.400 (4.2, 9.200)

10:11 am. Time for more MAG! Guys are walking out now for the final event of the day, rings.

10:05 am. Uneven Bars Final Standings

1. Caterina Gaddi, Italy, 13.600
2. Helen Kevric, Germany, 13.266
3. Giulia Perotti, Italy, 13.100
4. Nakamura Haruka, Japan, 12.533
5. Yamaguchi Sara, Japan, 12.500
6. Mia Mainardi, Argentina, 12.366
7. Leire Escauriaza,  Spain, 11.333
8. Hezly Rivera, United States, 9.900

10:00 am. Nakamura Haruka JPN UB: Excited for this one! Starts out with a big Def, some leg separation in the twists, toe full to piked Deltchev, inbar half to piked Jaeger, killing it so far! Pak, oh NO, does a half turn and arches over, can’t pull it back up to handstand, comes crashing down and slips onto the mat, then rolls off of it. She really did ALL OF THAT at the beginning and then is off on a half turn, this is killing me! Back on for a toe full, rushed and late, to full-in, good landing. 12.533 (5.7, 6.833)

That puts her in fourth place, thankfully it’s by more than half a point though, not anything wild like a half a tenth or anything.

9:57 am. Giulia Perotti ITA UB: Loooong wait for the score. Maloney to bail, some leg separation, back to the high bar, inbar to inbar half to huge straddle Jaeger, Ricna is also pretty high up there, blind full, and a double pike with a hop forward. 13.100 (5.1, 8.000)

9:51 am. Hezly Rivera USA UB: Inbar full, a little late, Maloney to stalder, can’t get it to handstand and has to come off sadly. Looked a little off right away when she re-mounted, the handstand was a bit iffy with a bit of a sway back, and she doesn’t get the turnover she needs for her Ricna, falls. Back on for the double pike dismount with a step. 9.900 (3.2, 6.700)

9:47 am. Yamaguchi Sara JPN UB: Maloney to Pak, stalder half to stalder to toe-on to toe shoot, got a little stuck at one point but it was barely noticeable, blind change to straddle Jaeger, blind full was a bit rushed, double tuck, open and looked pretty stuck! 12.500 (4.6, 7.900)

9:42 am. Mia Mainardi ARG UB: Toe-on to blind change to straddle Jaeger, good handstand before the Pak, toe half was a little short, to stalder to toe shoot, blind full, blind change to double front, clean with a hop back. Really nice work! 12.366 (4.5, 7.866)

9:39 am. Helen Kevric GER UB: I think that was an inbar full to start, to van Leeuwen, nice handstand before the inbar to toe half to big piked Jaeger, Pak is clean, short on the pirouette when she turns herself around on the low bar, toe-on to toe shoot, full-out, comes up a bit short and takes a big leap forward. 13.266 (5.6, 7.666)

9:35 am. Leire Escauriaza ESP UB: She’s had a fantastic meet so far, has done much better than I anticipated. Glad to see her in an apparatus final. Blind change to piked Jaeger, Pak, slightly bent elbows on the catch, toe-on to Maloney to Gienger, ugh, couldn’t hold onto that. Back on for a blind full, and then a clean double tuck, chest down with a small hop. 11.333 (4.6, 6.733)

She looks to be in a bit of pain coming off the podium, I hope she’s okay.

9:32 am. Caterina Gaddi ITA UB: Inbar to inbar full to Maloney to Ricna, lovely! Bail to stalder full to stalder to toe shoot, toe half to front giant to double front, bounce in place but oh WOW. This was beautiful! Most of her handstand positions were glorious, aside from a couple of slightly short pirouettes. Very minor stuff to deduct here. 13.600 (5.7, 7.900)

9:24 am. The gals are coming out again, this time for uneven bars! Back in a bit as the touch will begin shortly.

9:17 am. Pommel Horse Final Standings

1. Hamlet Manukyan, Armenia, 14.633
2. Mamikon Khachatryan, Armenia, 14.100
3. Zeinolla Idrissov, Kazakhstan, 14.066
4. Alexander Yolshina-Cash, Great Britain, 13.600
5. Mostafa Ahmed, Egypt, 13.300
6. He Xiang, China, 12.766
7. Yang Chunjie, China, 12.666
8. Manoah Felicite, France, 10.000

9:13 am. Mamikon Khachatryan ARM PH: Scissors are clean, through to circles on both pommels. Single work is nice, does a one-arm swing, Russians on the pommel, travels well, Russians at the end of the horse before moving into his dismount, another pretty incredible routine for the Armenians! 14.100 (5.4, 8.700)

He moves into second place behind his teammate! I’m crying, their reactions are absolutely beautiful.

9:10 am. Alexander Yolshina-Cash GBR PH: Scissors to circles, one-arm circle, Russians between the handles, solid form on all of this. Loses his leg form completely on a circle element after that and then rushes some of his travels, hip form gets a bit closed as well, but good fight through that. 13.600 (5.1, 8.500)

9:07 am. Yang Chunjie CHN PH: Scissors through to circles, moves well on the single pommel, could open his hips a bit more, has a weird stumble about halfway through where he just looks a bit off and has to hop off, back on for Russians at the end of the horse, circles into travels, clean up to the handstand for the dismount. 12.666 (4.9, 7.766)

9:04 am. Zeinolla Idrissov KAZ PH: Scissors through to circles, one-arm was clean, moves well on the single pommel and then in transitions, Russians, back to circles, travels well, clean transition up into the handstand for the dismount, fantastic! 14.066 (5.5, 8.566)

8:59 am. Manoah Felicite FRA PH: Scissors to a handstand, gets kind of stuck, and then has to come off when he comes back down. Gets it on the second try. Form is a little loose on the single pommel circles and he has to come off again. Back on for travels back and forth, hits his legs against the horse near the end of the horse and comes off. Doesn’t look too bothered, kind of laughs it off as he mounts again for the dismount. Rough go, but nice that he’s chill about it. 10.000 (5.0, 5.000)

8:57 am. Mostafa Ahmed EGY PH: Scissors through to circles, clean in his travels, really nice form overall, loses some ankle form near the end, but finishes well. A quick and simpler routine, but performed really well! 13.300 (4.4, 8.900)

8:54 am. He Xiang CHN PH: Scissors before going into his first circles, travels well, Russians at the end of the horse, unfortunately loses his form and rhythm while transitioning onto one of the handles for his circles near the end, up to the handstand for the dismount, oh he was so close to finishing, that’s a bummer! 12.766 (4.9, 7.866)

8:51 am. Hamlet Manukyan ARM PH: Really clean on literally everything, does the Russians really well on the handle and between them, hips are really nice, so open and straight, Russians at the end of the horse before his dismount, this was excellent, he is a GORGEOUS pommels worker, what a way to start this final! His coaches and teammates are jumping around, oh, they’re thrilled. 14.633 (5.5, 9.133)!!

8:48 am. Athletes are out for the touch warmup on pommel horse!

8:26 am. Awards time! Back soon.

8:22 am. Women’s Vault Final Standings

1. Mia Mainardi, Argentina, 13.383
2. July Marano, Italy, 13.266
3. Ming van Eijken, France, 13.000
4. Zoe Tsaprailis, Canada, 12.966
5. Abi Martin, Great Britain, 12.849
6. Jayla Hang, United States, 12.833
7. Victoriane Charron, Canada, 12.816
– Mizuno Mika, Japan, DNF

8:16 am. Abi Martin GBR VT: Yurchenko 1.5, the form is a bit iffy in a few areas and she has a big run forward out of it, but hey, she stood it up! 12.766. (4.6, 8.466, -0.3)

Second vault is a Yurchenko full, cleaner, but the landing kind of comes as a surprise and she punches back pretty severely. 12.933 (4.2, 8.733)

12.849 average, that puts her fifth.

8:12 am. Jayla Hang USA VT: Noooo, looked like her hands slipped on the table!! Was going for a double but with the slip, she can only get a full around, at least she’s okay, that was so scary, lands on her knees but is fine when she gets up. Bummer, gold could have been easy for her. 11.700 (4.2, 7.600, -0.1)

Does a Yurchenko double for her second vault, her intended first vault, but since the first was credited as a full, she gave it another try and it was great, powerful and clean, just a big step back. 13.966 (5.0, 8.966)

12.833 average, wild that she’s only a little over a tenth away from the podium with a fall. She seems okay after, smiling and high-fiving everyone, not devastated thankfully.

8:09 am. Zoe Tsaprailis CAN VT: Starts out with a Yurchenko full, pretty aggressive in her run and in her block, large-ish step back, but this was very nice! 13.266 (4.2, 9.066)

Next up is a Yurchenko layout, nice power, great form, she looked fantastic! 12.666 (3.6, 9.066)

12.966 average, oh, SO close to the top three, but she’s like a third of a tenth back in fourth.

8:05 am. Ming van Eijken FRA VT: Tsuk layout full, tiny hop, not a ton of power off the table and a little bit of pike as well. 13.100 (4.4, 8.700)

Second vault is a handspring front pike half, REALLY nice here, she’ll get that to a layout soon I think! Even flares it a bit, but just takes a big step back on the landing. 12.900 (4.0, 8.900)

13.000 average, that puts her in third place.

7:59 am. July Marano ITA VT: Also starts with a Yurchenko 1.5, form in her hips and knees was a bit looser than what we saw from Mainardi, but she lands well enough, just a bit crooked and it looks like her foot is OOB. 13.400 (4.6, 8.900, -0.1)

Yurchenko full for the second vault, a little cleaner than her first vault, but there’s still some hip form and a hop back. 13.133 (4.2, 8.933)

13.266 average, puts her second just behind Mainardi at the halfway point.

7:55 am. Mia Mainardi ARG VT: Yurchenko 1.5, strong in the air, small hop to the side. Some weird hips in the last half twist but overall this was great. 13.633 (4.6, 9.033)

Has a mostly clean Yurchenko full for the second vault, slight hip bend and she unfortunately takes a massive hop back, so much power! 13.133 (4.2, 8.933)

13.383 average

7:52 am. Victoriane Charron CAN VT: Yurchenko full, has to pike it down a bit on the landing, and had a small hop that looked like it took a toe OOB. 12.966 (4.2, 8.866, -0.1)

Second vault is a Yurchenko layout, kind of rushes the landing right into the salute. Pretty clean overall though! The shape is so straight. 12.666 (3.6, 9.066)

12.816 average

7:47 am. Mizuno Mika JPN FX: Oh no, she went for a Yurchenko double, but her block was very weak and she came up very short in both height and rotation, lands it without getting it fulling around and looked like she jacked up her knee in the process of twisting into the floor. Falls over and clutches her leg, oh no. 11.666 (4.6, 7.366, -0.3) – they only credited her with the 1.5 in addition to the fall adding insult to literal injury

7:44 am. Touch warmups are underway…

7:41 am. Athletes marching out now for the women on vault!

7:36 am. Men’s Floor Final Standings

1. Angel Barajas, Colombia, 13.900
2. Timo Eder, Germany, 13.500
3. Tommaso Brugnami, Italy, 13.333
4. Anthony Mansard, France, 13.200
5. Tanida Masaharu, Japan, 13.100
6. Yang Chunjie, China, 12.933
7. Tsunogai Tomoharu, Japan, 12.800
8. Maxim Kovalenko, Germany, 12.333

7:33 am. Tsunogai Tomoharu JPN FX: Piked double front, big hop forward. May have gone OOB, it was hard to see. Front full to front double full, a little iffy in that pass. Double full, hip form is weirdly not good? 2.5 to front layout. Triple full, chest really far forward, big step forward. 12.800 (4.9, 8.200, -0.3)

7:29 am. Anthony Mansard FRA FX: Double double with a small hop. Randi winds up a little deep. Good 2.5 to front layout. Double full, solid. Rudi with a little bounce. Triple full, also good. Nice work, not the strongest here but he was pretty great. 13.200 (4.9, 8.300)

7:25 am. Yang Chunjie CHN FX: Front full to double front, leans forward on the landing, small hop. Front double full with a bigger hop. Lovely layout down the side. Strong double full to finish. 12.933 (4.3, 8.633)

7:22 am. Angel Barajas COL FX: Double double half-out, awesome! Double double, stuck that one. Whip to 2.5 to front layout, a bit arched at the end but really cool series. Punches into a rudi down the side. Triple full, stuck. Excellent routine! 13.900 (5.1, 8.800)

7:21 am. Touch warmups for the second half!

7:18 am. Tommaso Brugnami ITA FX: Double double, tiny bounce. Randi with a hop back. Front layout to front double full, step forward. 2.5 down the side, nice. Good triple full, feet pretty far apart on the landing, but gets it around really well. 13.333 (5.1, 8.233)

7:15 am. Maxim Kovalenko GER FX: 2.5 to double front, comes in really short there and ends up sitting, sadly. But what a pass for this level! Double double, stuck. Front full to front double full with a hop forward. Clean double full. Full-in, slightly deep, hop forward. 12.333 (5.0, 7.333)

7:12 am. Tanida Masaharu JPN FX: Piked double front, knees could be tighter, little hop. Double double with his chest pretty far down. Front full to rudi I think? The camera was super zoomed in. 2.5 to front layout, looked like his toes landed OOB. Triple full, a bit deep with a big hop forward. 13.100 (5.0, 8.400, -0.3)

7:09 am. Timo Eder GER FX: Double double, a little crooked on the landing, but he stuck it! Arabian double front half. 2.5 to front layout, good landing, tiniest little hop. Double full down the side with a small bounce. Strong triple full. This was really nice! 13.500 (4.8, 8.700)

7:05 am. Athletes are out and heading to the touch warm-up. Should be back in a couple of minutes!

7:00 am. Just starting the stream now, which you can find here!
