The 2021 Summer Universiade WAG Master Team List

The 2021 Summer Univeriade kicks off in Chengdu, China with the opening ceremony this Friday, July 28, while the first day of women’s competition for gymnastics will be held next Wednesday, August 2.

I’ve compiled the below information based on team announcements from various federations. I’ll update these with confirmations as I find them.

ARGENTINA

Confirmed via the Argentinian federation on July 24. Sira Macias was originally named to the team, but has withdrawn due to injury.

AUSTRALIA

Confirmed via Gymnastics Western Australia on May 24.

AUSTRIA

Confirmed via the Austrian federation on June 28.

CHINA

Confirmed by CCTV on July 19. Tang Xijing and Yu Linmin are the alternates.

CZECHIA

Confirmed via the entries list on July 27.

FINLAND

Confirmed via the Finnish Olympic Committee on June 20.

GERMANY

Confirmed via the German federation on June 22.

HONG KONG

Confirmed via the entries list on July 27.

JAPAN

Confirmed via the Japanese federation on June 27. Watanabe Hazuki was initially named to the team, but as of July 23, she has withdrawn due to injury and was replaced by Ushioku.
