Wow that’s big win on floor for Ashlee over the current reigning world silver and bronze medalists from just a few weeks ago.
Floor has always been her best event, the line up of the team just din’t work out in her favor this year.
But her clean gymnastics and floor strength should legitimately keep her in the conversation for next year, even if/when some of the “big dogs” come back. I think the same about Reese Esponda
They both kind of remind me of athletes like Randy Stageberg, Kennedy Baker etc who do good strong gymnastics but are just outside of the top group. Then again I would’ve put Macko Caquatto in that set too and she made worlds and almost made another team.
