ROTATION 4
11:50 am. Angelina Melnikova RUS FX: Double layout, small hop back. Double L turn to double turn. Just a front layout full for the second pass. She’s like y’all that’s all I need today lol. Double pike to finish, I don’t remember if she did the front tuck into it? I don’t think so actually. Nice easy set and done well! 13.333
11:49 am. Ruby Evans GBR VT: Yurchenko double full, not bad in the air but a really big hop back. 14.100
11:48 am. France with a 159.263, ahead of Germany with a 156.664!
Still waiting on Italy’s final floor score, and Russia still has one to go on floor, one to go for Great Britain on vault but GBR cannot catch up to France at this point.
11:45 am. July Marano ITA FX: Kinda stumbly out of the wolf turn at the start. Full-in with some form and a hop back. Good landing on the 1.5 to front full. Memmel turn. Double pike, tiny bounce on the landing. Switch leap through to switch full, wonky in the air. 13.166
11:43 am. Karina Schönmaier GER VT: Yurchenko double full, form is mostly good, goes a bit crooked in the air, chest down and hop back on the landing and then bobbles a bit as well, looks maybe OOB. 13.733
11:41 am. Elena Colas FRA UB: Inbar half to Endo half to Komova II to stalder full, some form there, to Ricna to Pak, nice overall! Van Leeuwen, inbar full to full-in, a little deep, big hop forward. 14.600!
Alba Petisco ESP BB: 13.600
11:38 am. Anna Kalmykova RUS FX: A bit deep in the full-twisting double layout, think she also had a step OOB? Hit a turn after that and then a whip to double tuck, which looks short at first but she punched into a layout barani so it’s all good. Barani was slightly short with a step back. Hit the leap pass after. Got the wolf turn around. Memmel turn. Clean double pike with a good landing. 13.466
Lisa Vaelen BEL BB: 12.866
11:37 am. Abigail Martin GBR VT: Yurchenko double full, soft knee and crossed ankle form in the air is minor but she has two big steps back. 13.666
Sanna Veerman NED UB: 14.266
11:35 am. Giulia Perotti ITA FX: Triple wolf turn is good. Front full through to double tuck, really forward on the landing with a wild bounce but she saves it from a fall. Front layout through to double pike, really deep with a hop. Lovely Memmel turn. Switch ring through to split ring, very nice. Hit the double full with minor form throughout. 12.800
Lorette Charpy FRA UB: 12.666
Alba Petisco ESP BB: 12.433
11:34 am. Lena Devreker BEL BB: 11.633
11:33 am. Lea Marie Quaas GER VT: Yurchenko 1.5, minor knee form, slightly deep, step forward. 13.466
11:29 am. Lyudmila Roshchina RUS FX: Hit a strong double layout and then 2.5 to front layout! Switch ring to switch half. Double full with some crossed legs. Memmel was kinda stumbly. Chest forward on the double pike, small hop. 13.200
Ruby Stacey GBR VT: 13.400
Naomi Visser NED UB: 14.433!
11:28 am. Lola Chassat FRA UB: Toe-on to blind change to straddle Jaeger, Ricna to Pak, minor form, van Leeuwen, toe full, a bit late, full-out, some form and a step back.
11:28 am. Pauline Schäfer GER VT: Lovely and fully flared handspring front layout half! Pikes down slightly before landing but love this for her. 12.800
Did they downgrade this??? Ma’am, why?? I thought it was pretty stretched until just before the landing?
11:25 am. Manila Esposito ITA FX: Lovely triple wolf turn. Double layout, legs apart, step back, but nice power. Switch full, minor form. Lovely Memmel to illusion. Split ring leap through to tour jeté half, again minor form on both. 2.5 looked really clean from this angle, to front layout. Step back on the double pike. Excellent again. 13.533
Vera Ubbink NED UB: 11.566
11:21 am. Touch warmups underway for the final rotation! France with a lead going to bars, but Germany and Great Britain going to make up some ground on vault…getting exciting!

July Marano ITA BB: Saw her mount in the background was hit lol. And the bhs loso! Didn’t see the dismount but she’s celebrating so I assume this was a hit! 12.766
Lena Devreker BEL UB: 11.700
11:11 am. Angelina Melnikova RUS BB: Switch leap mount to switch leap, very nice. Bhs loso is pretty solid. Front aerial with some knee form to split and straddle jumps, great extension on those. Ruby Evans GBR FX: 13.300
Alba Petisco ESP UB: 13.133
11:09 am. Sanna Veerman NED VT: Yurchenko 1.5, soft hips and knees throughout, not enough block, ends up really squatted without a prayer in the world to save it, similar to Alba Petisco earlier, sits it. 12.166
Karina Schönmaier GER FX: 12.766
11:07 am. Giulia Perotti ITA BB: Switch leap mount. Switch half to Korbut. Hit the bhs loso. Check on the switch ring. Side aerial, little check. Split to straddle jump. Switch leap to split half to back handspring, good! Double wolf turn. Double tuck, hops it back. 13.400

Laia Font ESP UB: 12.733
Anna Kalmykova RUS BB: 13.500
11:02 am. Naomi Descamps BEL UB: Maloney to Pak, some foot form. Short handstand before the van Leeuwen, minor form, blind full, blind change to straddle Jaeger, ankle separation on most handstands and pirouettes. Back layout 1.5 dismount. 12.400
Lea Marie Quaas GER FX: 12.200
Elena Colas FRA VT: 13.800
11:00 am. Manila Esposito ITA BB: Bhs mount to loso to bhs, super solid as always. Switch leap to split jump half to bhs, gorgeous. Front aerial to split jump. Triple wolf turn, makes it look easy. Valdez. Side aerial. Dismounts with a double pike, REALLY buckled landing but overall this routine was fab. 14.200
Vera Ubbink NED VT: 13.033
10:58 am. Lorette Charpy FRA VT: Clean Yurchenko full, basically stuck! Moves one heel slightly and I’m like girl WHY, you had it lol. But so nice, flared, lovely. 13.300
Alia Leat GBR FX: 11.600
10:57 am. Lyudmila Roshchina RUS BB: Hit the punch front mount, little stumble on the switch ring, hit the next series that ended with a split ring jump, okay, I’m caught up. Side aerial, front handspring front tuck, tiny step, wolf jump to sissone, front aerial to split jump to Korbut, so far everything looks pretty strong! Gets the wolf turn, and dismounts with a double tuck, chest forward, step back. Great start! 13.633

Morgane Osyssek FRA FX: 13.200
10:46 am. Anna Kalmykova RUS UB: Hop change to Weiler half to Chow to stalder full, a bit weak and rushed, to Tkachev, Downie with some form, to Pak, Maloney to Gienger, maybe a little close to be picky, full-out looked mostly clean and stuck, just rushed into the salute. Rushed was the theme of today’s routine, I think? 14.366
Floor Slooff NED FX: 12.200
10:44 am. Pauline Schäfer GER BB: Hit the switch mount to leap series! Bhs loso, super solid. Her little hoppy choreo always makes me think she is balking a leap lol. Elisa Iorio ITA UB: Downie to Pak, nice. Maloney to stalder half to Ezhova, minor leg separation. Clean Chow half. Short handstand before the blind change to front giant to front full to double front, a little deep but stuck! 14.333
10:41 am. Elena Colas FRA FX: Piked full-in, then I think the second pass was whip full to double tuck, gets it around. Ring leap to tour jeté half after that? I’m going by memory! Front layout through to double pike, deep with a step forward. Switch half and got through the wolf turn at the end. Not her best but not bad! 13.366
Laia Font ESP VT: 13.500
Ruby Stacey GBR BB: 12.700
10:39 am. Angelina Melnikova RUS UB: Inbar full, a little late, lovely Komova II to Pak to van Leeuwen, big leg separation on the latter. Inbar half with leg separation into the piked Jaeger, short handstand before the messy toe full to full-in, form in the air and a hop. 14.000
I honestly don’t know how this has a 7.900 E score.
Naomi Visser NED FX: 11.966
Lisa Vaelen BEL VT: 13.833
10:37 am. Helen Kevric GER BB: Switch leap mount to switch half, BIG wobble there, hit the jumps after. Bhs loso is solid. Switch leap to side somi, minor adjustment. Double turn, big break at the hips. Double wolf turn goes better. Side aerial, check. 2.5 with a massive hop forward. 12.700

Anthea Sisio ITA UB: 13.300
Marina Escudero ESP VT: 13.700
10:36 am. Ruby Evans GBR BB: 12.633
10:34 am. Maïana Prat FRA FX: Double L, tiny bobble. 1.5 through to double tuck, clean, chest down, hop back. Switch ring through to split ring full, iffy shape at times but this angle was MUCH better than the floor final angle, which made it look really awkward. Front layout full to front layout full. Split ring half, also minor form. 2.5, pretty good landing. Double wolf turn. 13.333
Lyudmila Roshchina RUS UB: 14.000
10:33 am. Alba Petisco ESP VT: Yurchenko 1.5, ends up REALLY deep, doesn’t have a prayer of standing up out of that squat, stumbles it back and sits it sadly. 12.066
10:31 am. Giulia Perotti ITA UB: Inbar half to Endo half to Maloney to Downie, very nice! Clean Pak. Great handstand before the van Leeuwen, toe full, slightly late, and clean, nearly stuck full-out. Lovely! 14.166

Karina Schönmaier GER UB: 13.000
10:15 am. Vera Ubbink NED BB: Wasn’t typing at the beginning but she hit everything. Double wolf turn was nice. Also had a clean side somi and a 2.5 dismount, some form in the air but a good landing. 13.100
Ruby Evans GBR UB: 11.966
Lisa Vaelen BEL FX: 12.900
10:14 am. Russia with a 42.166 on vault, while Italy is two points behind with a 40.132.
No vault from July Marano – she apparently got injured while warming up as a reserve for floor for yesterday’s finals.
10:12 am. Helen Kevric GER UB: Inbar full to Chow half, really high lift, inbar half to piked Jaeger, Downie to Pak, minor leg separation while catching both, van Leeuwen, full-out with a step forward. Lovely as always! 14.700

Elena Colas FRA BB: 13.866
Elisa Iorio ITA VT: 13.066
10:10 am. Angelina Melnikova RUS VT: Yurchenko double full, looked better than it did in finals I think? Legs are a bit cleaner, though still some crossed ankles, still a bit forward on the landing as well, small hop back. 14.066
Abigail Martin GBR UB: 13.600
10:08 am. Naomi Visser NED BB: Oop they just showed the dismount lol. Well, that was hit! 13.133

Mie de Wilde BEL FX: 11.166
Lea Marie Quaas GER UB: 13.066
10:07 am. Anna Kalmykova RUS VT: Handspring rudi and it actually looks pretty good today?! The most stretched I’ve seen it in a while I think! And a step back. 14.100
Ruby STacey GBR UB: 13.433
10:06 am. Lyudmila Roshchina RUS VT: Yurchenko double full, some hip and knee form throughout, not a ton of power, gets the landing with a step.
10:05 am. The stream definitely will not show us everything so I’ll try to add scores when I can!
Giulia Perotti ITA VT: 13.166
10:02 am. Maïana Prat FRA BB: Falls over on the layout stepout mount, grabs the beam. Bhs loso, splits the beam and has a hard fall. Hit the next two mixed series well and then a double wolf turn. Switch ring, check. Double tuck, chest down, hop forward. 11.600
10:00 am. Touch warmups are just wrapping up. The Russians and Italy will be starting on vault.
9:56 am. Athletes are being introduced now! The action should begin right around 10 am my time.

Not sure what feed you watched but they just interviewed the GB team on BBC. Distraught and crying Becky said tough times in warmup and she was managing a few body parts so decision made to look after her and pull out. Said she’s sad as feels like she lost the team a medal at which point Ruby E leans in with a side hug and says she hasn’t 😭 Ugh this woman has to have a fairytale end, cheering so hard for her 😭

Oh no! I didn’t have this on my feed, I had Eurovision and didn’t have sound on – that’s a shame for Becky! I was wondering why she was out and just assumed it was planned and more for prevention like Sanne, didn’t realize she was warming up and that it was a last minute decision. So sad!

Definitely. It sounded more caution rather than a big injury so taking the positive but sheesh. 4th Queens at these champs. Alice Kinsella will be proud. Hope you enjoyed it all and can get some sleep now!

Yes, definitely better to play it safe even though I’m sure she was desperate to be out there on the floor!
And thank you! It’s 2 pm now and I’m like “…is this too early for bed” lol. I have a busy work week so have to get back on a normal schedule but I’m like, can I just keep pretending I’m in Zagreb and work from home???

It is hard to believe how clean Russia went through on this with just 3 athletes in the team final. 165.43!
Consider if you took the top 3 all arounders from US Nationals last week, averaged their scores, they would have come up with 166.65 and that’s with questionably credited skills and very generous execution scores.
Worlds is going to be so exciting this year!
