SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 4

1:04 pm. Emma Fioravanti ITA FX: Front layout to clean double front, small hop. Double layout, low set, some knee form, hop. 1.5 through to back layout. Double pike, solid landing! 13.450

1:03 pm. Zeynep Kurtulus TUR VT: Tsuk back pike, some form throughout, hop back. 12.050

1:00 pm. Artemisia Iorfino ITA FX: Gets the double wolf turn around with just minor adjustments. 2.5 goes low and long, punches into a front pike, OOB. Front full with little steps back. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Switch half looked a little short from this angle? Double tuck, some leg form, short landing, hop forward. 12.250

12:58 pm. Ilayda Sahin TUR VT: Yurchenko full, could clean up her hip form but otherwise nice! Small bounce back. 12.950

Also does a handspring front pike, big leap out of it.

12:56 pm. Benedetta Gava ITA FX: Full-in with a small hop. Whip to double tuck, a bit wild on that landing, bounce back OOB. Switch ring to switch half. Front double full, some form throughout and a weak landing. Nice Popa. Double pike, small hop. 13.050

12:55 pm. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR VT: Yurchenko full, mostly clean, just pikes it down a bit, bounce in place I think. 13.050

12:53 pm. Sofia Tonelli ITA FX: Clean double tuck with a big bounce back. Small hop forward on the front full. A LITTLE form-y in the leap series but has a stunning Memmel. Double wolf turn. Double pike, slightly deep but not bad. 13.200

12:51 pm. With France’s struggles on floor, Algeria will surpass them and likely take the bronze!

Touch for the second half underway now.

12:48 pm. Alizée Letrange-Mouakit FRA FX: Comes up quite short on the double layout, hop forward. Whippy front layout through to a messy double full, hop on the landing. Pretty good on the double tuck, slight hop back. Switch to switch half. 12.300

12:46 pm. Aitana Pacheco ESP VT: Tsuk full, minor pike in the air, opens up with a nice flair, small hop. Good! 13.300

Idk why I thought Carlota Armenta was on this team and doing a DTY, but she might be the alternate? Still a solid vault rotation for them! And with France now counting a fall on floor, Spain will easily overtake them on the podium.

12:44 pm. Célia Serber FRA FX: Double L to a full turn, lacks a little control, think the latter was supposed to be a double. Front layout through to double tuck, nice. Quick Memmel to full spin. Double pike is good! Switch to switch half, nice extension. 2.5, some form in the air, short on the landing, stumbles it back, hand down. 11.750

12:40 pm. Noélie Ayuso FRA FX: Double L turn was nice. Front layout through to pretty clean double tuck, hop back. Clean switch half. Double full, small hop. Switch leap to tour jeté half. Sat the double pike. Double wolf turn. 11.500

Marina Escudero ESP VT: Looks like she hit the Yurchenko double full, could see it in the background of floor! 13.750

She also did a handspring front tuck for a second vault, hop forward.

12:38 pm. Alba Petisco ESP VT: Yurchenko 1.5, form is pretty excellent throughout! Really pushes forward on that landing, small hop. 13.700

12:37 pm. Lilly Havard FRA FX: Full-in, a bit short, step back OOB. 1.5 to front full, minor form in the air. Hit the leap series well. Double pike, gets it around pretty well, step back. Switch half, minor foot form. 11.650

Leire Escauriaza ESP VT: 13.250

12:33 pm. Touch beginning shortly for the final rotation!

Italy only needs a 33.650 on floor to overtake Algeria for gold. I don’t think Algeria will get on the podium unless France has a disaster on floor? They’re also nearly three points ahead of France right now, and then Spain is just 0.25 back from the French team, and should surpass them going to vault where they have a Yurchenko 1.5 and a couple of Yurchenko double fulls.

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 3

12:29 pm. Zeyenp Kurtulus TUR FX: Slightly short on the double pike, step forward. I think a split full after that, then switch ring to tour jeté half. Full L turn. Front layout full had some form throughout. Switch half. Back layout full with a small hop. 11.750

Sofia Tonelli ITA BB: 13.200

Wow, they didn’t even TRY to show Italy this rotation lmao. Again it’s the issue with floor always starting first, so broadcast jumps right to them instead of waiting.

12:26 pm. Bengisu Yildiz TUR FX: Double wolf turn. Double tuck, little check on the landing. Switch full had some minor form. 1.5 to front tuck, hop forward. Double turn. Double full ends up going low and long, short on the landing, hands down. 10.250

Eleonora Calaciura ITA BB: 12.900

12:22 pm. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR FX: Front layout to front double full, step forward, nice overall! Ooh, did she do a Mustafina?! It was really lovely if so. Could’ve been a Memmel and I’m just seeing things. Split ring leap. Switch to switch half. Solid landing on the double tuck. Finishes with a 2.5, a couple of little steps. Fab job! 13.100

Benedetta Gava ITA BB: Only saw the dismount in the back of the floor stream, which was hit. 12.150

12:19 pm. Ilayda Sahin TUR FX: Front tuck through to double tuck, some leg form in the air. Hop back on the switch full. Double full, some leg form and her chest is slightly forward. Hop. Double pike, really deep landing. Switch to switch half. 11.600

Artemisia Iorfino ITA BB: 12.450

12:17 pm. Touch for the second half!

Spain just a few tenths back from France now and about to go to vault…could get exciting for them knowing they potentially have a few DTYs! And yeah I know it’s Spain’s A team vs. a French B team, but alas!

12:15 pm. Alizée Letrange-Mouakit FRA BB: Hit the mount. Bhs loso is mostly solid! A little wobbly in the double wolf turn. Hit the side somi. Front aerial. Side aerial. Switch leap to sissone. Dismounts with a double tuck, hop back. 12.950

12:13 pm. Alba Petisco ESP FX: Hit the full-in and arabian double front, little stumble on the latter. A little wild in the wolf turn. Switch to switch full. Double tuck is nice in the air but has a bit of a wild bounce on the landing. Switch half. Double pike, small hop back. 12.800

Célia Serber FRA BB: 12.750

Sorry, the timing with the French routines isn’t working out on this stream so we’re not seeing any of them! The floor routines are starting seconds before beam does so they win out for broadcast.

12:10 pm. Marina Escudero ESP FX: Big double layout! Hop back. Double wolf turn. 2.5, comes out a bit high and tight but still is able to connect to the front layout. Clean double pike, nearly stuck. Switch to switch half. Hop back on the double tuck. 12.900

Noélie Ayuso FRA BB: 11.900

12:07 pm. Aitana Pacheco ESP FX: Full-in lands forward and has a big hop back. Popa. Front layout through to double pike, super solid! I think stuck, we had a weird angle. This stream LOVES a weird angle tbh. Tour jeté half to switch half. Clean double tuck, hop back. 12.700

12:05 pm. Romane Hamelin FRA BB: Off on the loso mount. Bhs loso, minor form in the air but lands well. Minor check on the back tuck. Clean side aerial to split jump. Cat leap to switch leap. The stream cut away from her after that, why?! 11.400

12:03 pm. Leire Escauriaza ESP FX: Front layout through to double tuck, bounce back but nice overall! Strong double full, small hop. Switch to tour jeté half. Some nice artistry moments before her switch half. Double pike, chest down, hop back. 12.500

12:00 pm. Touch at the halfway point!

From this group, Italy holds onto its lead now almost two points ahead of France despite a couple of missteps on bars. Spain now about a point back from France as well. 8.850

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 2

11:58 am. Zeynep Kurtulus TUR BB: Off on the loso mount and again on the bhs loso. Hit the side aerial and a handful of skills after that I wasn’t super locked in on watching, I’m sorry! Grabbed the beam on a turn. Wobbled on the switch leap. Back layout full dismount.

11:56 am. Sofia Tonelli ITA UB: Toe full to Chow to Tkachev, very nice! Downie, doesn’t have the swing to take her through to the Pak and has to reset. Hit the rest well, including a double front dismount, shame about that post-Downie mistake. 12.950

11:55 am. Ilayda Sahin TUR BB: Wobbled on the mount but stayed on. Bent legs in the bhs loso, ends up short and grabs the beam. Split leap to switch leap. Side aerial, a little awkward with an adjustment. 1.5 dismount. 11.400

11:54 am. Eleonora Calaciura ITA UB: Stalder to stalder full to Maloney to Tkachev, caught close there but nice control throughout! Pak with some leg separation. Toe-on to van Leeuwen, major leg split and she’s not quite where she needs to be on the catch, extra swing. Blind change to front giant to really coywboyed double front, big stumble back. 12.200

11:52 am. Artemisia Iorfino ITA UB: Toe full was a little rushed, to Maloney to stalder half to Endo half to Ricna to Pak, big leg separation on the latter but wow what a series! Van Leeuwen, hit the double front dismount. 13.800!

11:50 am. Ceren Biner TUR BB: Off on the back pike mount and again on the side aerial. Hit the jumps and front aerial, straight jump full with a wobble. Cross straight jump full. Weak in the double wolf turn, starts slowing down about halfway through and ultimately falls. Just a layout dismount, hop back. 8.050

11:49 am. Benedetta Gava ITA UB: Maloney to Tkachev, bail to toe shoot, blind change to straddle Jaeger, some foot form to be picky, mostly good in the blind full, really deep double pike dismount, step forward. 12.300

11:47 am. Sevgi Kayisoglu TUR BB: Hit the punch front mount. Bhs bhs loso had nice extension but goes a bit too far back and she comes off the end of the beam. Front aerial to split jump to a nice straddle jump. A bit short on the cross split jump half. Split ring jump. Mostly clean 1.5 with a small hop. 11.850

11:44 am. Touch for the second half!

11:42 am. Alba Petisco ESP BB: Hit the loso mount and leap series. Double wolf turn. Bhs bhs loso, solid. Side aerial, tiny adjustments. I missed the next series, think it was jumps? Maybe a wobble? I just saw something minor. Double pike, hop back. 13.200

11:40 am. Romane Hamelin FRA UB: Inbar full, crooked, arches over, falls. Back on and does a Chow half, inbar half to straddle Jaeger, inbar to toe-on entry for the Pak OOH! Oh right, she got this named for her earlier this year IIRC? Van Leeuwen with bent knees. Layout dismount. 11.550

11:38 am. Marina Escudero ESP BB: Really wonky and crooked on the bhs mount, doesn’t have a prayer at saving this I fear. Short going out of the roundoff into the layout, falls again there. Hit the side aerial loso and a cross jump. Hit a mixed series and wolf turn, then switch to sissone. Double pike, a bit deep, hop forward. 11.700

11:36 am. Alizée Letrange-Mouakit FRA UB: Toe full with some loose form, to Tkachev, clean Pak and van Leeuwen, clear hip to toe-on to blind change to front giant to double front, knee form isn’t that bad! Small hop. 13.200

11:34 am. Aitana Pacheco ESP BB: Layout mount, solid! Minor form in the layout shape. Hit the bhs loso well. Switch to switch half, a little short, to split jump. Big wobble on the side somi. Double wolf turn hit. Side aerial, a bit short. Double pike, big lunge back. 12.800

Célia Serber FRA UB: 13.350

11:32 am. Noélie Ayuso FRA UB: Maloney to Pak, minor leg separation in the former and major in the latter. Toe shoot, a little low, blind change to straddle Jaeger, also a little low but catches without issue. Blind full, tucked toe front half with a hop back. 11.700

11:30 am. Erika Guindel ESP BB: Off on the loso mount. Went a bit crooked at one point in the triple flight series but held on. Front aerial with a big break at the hips. Side aerial, also a break at the hips and stumble, falls after. Switch leap, wobble. Split jump to straddle jump. Double wolf turn. Double full dismount, some crossed ankles but gets the landing. 10.350

11:27 am. Moving to the touch for the second rotation now! For this group, Italy has nearly a full point lead over France, and then Spain is about a half point back from France.

SUBDIVISION 3 | ROTATION 1

11:25 am. Bengisu Yildiz TUR UB: Toe full to Maloney, tucks her legs, connects to the Pak with some leg separation, van Leeuwen with wild legs, clear hip to blind change to straddle Jaeger, really short on the front giant half but continues into the double tuck dismount, bounce on the landing.

11:24 am. Emma Fioravanti ITA VT: They didn’t show this! 13.150

11:22 am. Ilayda Sahin TUR UB: Maloney to Pak, some leg separation on the latter. Toe shoot caught a bit close, but gets out of it well, blind full to big Tkachev, too big I fear and she falls. Blind change to straddle Jaeger, another fall unfortunately. Sticks the double pike. 10.250

11:21 am. Artemisia Iorfino ITA VT: Yurchenko full, some hip form throughout, hop back. 13.150

11:20 am. Ceren Biner TUR UB: Maloney to Pak, minor leg separation. Mostly clean in the van Leeuwen. Nice straddle Jaeger and Ray! Minor form in the blind full, double pike dismount with a hop back. Really good work! 12.400

11:17 am. Benedetta Gava ITA VT: Yurchenko double full, knee form is minorly soft BUT she looked like she was able to get this around really easily overall! Good landing, small bounce. 14.100!

Second vault is a Yurchenko half-on front tuck, could use a bit of finessing here, big step forward on the landing.

11:16 am. Zeynep Kurtulus TUR UB: Toe full went a bit wild and was arched, but gets it to the Maloney to Pak, some leg separation in both. Van Leeuwen with wild messy legs. Big Tkachev! Really cowboyed double front, sits it. 11.700

Sofia Tonelli ITA VT: 13.200

11:13 am. Touch for the second half! We’ll get Italy on vault and Türkiye on bars.

11:11 am. Alba Petisco ESP UB: Gets the straddle Jaeger at the start, then a Church to Pak, Maloney to bail to toe-on to toe shoot, good! Clean blind full and a full-in with a small hop to the side. 13.700

11:10 am. Lilly Havard FRA VT: Yurchenko double full, not super powerful, about a quarter shy in rotation and short/forward on the landing, step. 12.900

Just checked the breakdown and they only credited the 1.5 for her, which is fair, that wasn’t close to around.

11:09 am. Erika Guindel ESP UB: Clear hip to Maloney to Pak, big leg separation on the latter and minor things elsewhere. Van Leeuwen gets around, toe-on to blind half with some leg separation to Jaeger, good. Arches over the handstand a bit after, blind full, double layout with a hop forward. 12.600

11:06 am. Célia Serber FRA VT: Yurchenko 1.5, her run looks so slow! Soft form in the air and really tucks her knees as she goes in for the landing, a bit low with a hop. 13.400

Has a second vault as well – Tsuk layout, block is iffy, some form in the air, hop back into her salute, and then has a wobble out of the salute hehe.

11:04 am. Alizée Letrange-Mouakit FRA VT: Yurchenko full, pretty nice stretch in the air! A few steps back. 13.100

Marina Escudero ESP UB: Clear hip to blind change to straddle Jaeger, good! Toe-on to Pak, some form in the air. Maloney was a bit low in the flight and she has to take an extra swing, can’t connect to the Gienger but gets that on its own. Mostly clean double pike, big step forward on the landing. 11.650

11:02 am. Aitana Pacheco ESP UB: Clear hip to Maloney to Pak, minor leg separation on the latter. Short handstand before the toe shoot, toe-on to blind change to straddle Jaeger, really nice! Short handstand before the blind full, some minor form there, double layout, some flexed feet in the air, but gets the landing well. 12.750

Noélie Ayuso FRA VT: Yurchenko full, minor pike in the air, medium hop back. 13.050

11:00 am. Touch warmups are underway for the first half! France will get things started on vault, and Spain kicks things off on bars.

10:55 am. Athletes are being introduced now! We’ll see teams from France, Italy, Spain, and Türkiye in the final round.

9:39 am. The next subdivision starts at 5 pm in Taranto, which is 11 am my time so I’ll see you back in about an hour and 20 minutes!

9:30 am. Christina Zwicker CRO BB: Big break at the hips on the loso mount and she falls. Bhs bhs loso, really nice! Aerial to split jump. Double wolf turn. Hit the switch to side aerial and jump series. Hit the gainer pike dismount. 11.850

9:25 am. Djenna Laroui ALG BB: Switch mount, switch half, small check. Off on the bhs loso. She’s had a rough day tbh. Switch side, short in the split, check. Side aerial to straddle jump to tuck jump half, good on the connections. Hit the side somi. Hit the full turn. REALLY cowboyed double tuck, low/short, hop back. 11.300

9:21 am. Lena Khenoun ALG BB: Off on her mount. Some form in the bhs loso, a bit deep on the landing, check. Switch, wobble, tries to jump out of it and it’s a little awkward. Side aerial. Front aerial, split jump, wobble. Side somi. Full turn, check. Switch, wobble on the jump out of it, deep landing there as well. Back layout full, hop back. 9.750

9:16 am. Kaylia Nemour ALG BB: Loso mount into loso loso, so nice! Bhs bhs layout, almost connects to the split jump, gorgeous. Side aerial, slight wobble, switch leap, switch half, meant to connect all of those but was too slow I think, front aerial to jump to Korbut. Double wolf turn. Sissone to wolf jump. Step back on the double pike. 14.450

Georgia Charalampous CYP UB: 11.100

9:15 am. Eva Dionysiou CYP UB: Had a Ray to the high bar and a back layout dismount with a hop back. 9.050

9:14 am. Louna Hamames-Moallic ALG BB: We jumped in at the side somi on the stream. Switch to switch half, some foot form and slightly shy of 180, little check. Layout full dismount with a hop back. 11.250

9:12 am. Kalypso Papaioannou CYP UB: Not really any elite-level skills in this set, had a hip circle and a layout half dismount. 5.050

9:09 am. Moving into the final rotation now!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 3

9:07 am. Christina Zwicker CRO UB: Toe-on to toe full, toe shoot, blind change with a slight adjustment as she goes into the Jaeger, fall. Back on just to dismount, does a solid back tuck from handstand.

9:06 am. Danie Ferris MAR VT: Yurchenko 1.5, super solid landing! Yay, a hit for her after a rough start to this meet. Form is mostly good, legs just come apart on the latter half in the air.

Idk why live scores are showing her vault as a zero! Looks like she maybe went before the scoring system gave her the green light which is wild.

9:03 am. Sihem Hamidi ALG UB: Maloney to bail, leg separation and a bit short, toe shoot, toe half with some form and had to muscle the handstand with the half turn out of it, leg form in the full pirouette, hit the layout dismount. 10.350

9:00 am. Kaylia Nemour ALG UB: Short handstand before the inbar layout Tkachev in mixed grip to Ezhova to Maloney to stalder full to Downie, FALL! Noooooo. I mean she’ll still make the final. Back on for the Pak to Chow half, clean double layout with a hop in place. 13.950 (6.6 D)

8:59 am. Eva Dionysiou CYP VT: Tsuk back pike, deep landing with a hop back/side. 11.800

8:58 am. Djenna Laroui ALG UB: Hit her legs on the low bar on her opening swing and had to cast again, toe full to Tkachev, Pak, Maloney to Gienger with some leg separation, blind change to big straddle Jaeger, short handstand on the half turn before the dismount, full-in with a hop. 12.100

8:57 am. Georgia Charalampous CYP VT: Tsuk back pike, step back. 11.950

8:56 am. Kalypso Papaioannou CYP VT: Tsuk back pike, gets it around well! 11.950

8:55 am. Lena Khenoun ALG UB: We jumped in a bit late on the stream but think she hit her Pak at the start? Had a straddle Jaeger, came up short on several handstands, layout dismount. 11.650

8:50 am. Touch just started for warmups at the halfway point!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 2

8:46 am. Danie Ferris MAR FX: Clean Popa at the start. Big double layout, super solid landing! Unfortunately comes up short on the tucked full-in, hands down. Tour jeté half was a bit short, to switch side. She’s giving absolutely nothing in her expression during the choreo, it’s surprising to watch knowing she’s a UF girly? Usually the NCAA gals who transition to elite for other countries are the ones having fun and/or serving face and artistry. Maybe needs the NCAA crowd or her teammates or something, it’s hard going from that environment to a solo performance in front of like 20 random Italians. Hit the 1.5 to front layout. 10.450

8:45 am. Christina Zwicker CRO VT: Yurchenko back tuck, good in the air, hop back. 11.550

8:43 am. Seema Tello SYR FX: Good on the back layout full, step back. Front layout. Switch to split leap, a little short/low there. Switch half looked better! Wolf turn. Clean back layout. Nice and solid set! 8.650

8:39 am. Sihem Hamidi ALG VT: Handspring front pike half, kind of weak in the air and SUPER deep on the landing, her knees come very close to touching the mat but she’s able to somehow stand up out of it. 12.400

They’ll be able to toss Djenna Laroui’s score at least! Up by half a point.

8:35 am. Louna Hamames-Moallic ALG FX: Yurchenko full, a bit piked down, short on the landing, big hop back. 12.950

Eva Dionysiou CYP FX: 9.650

8:31 am. Georgia Charalampous CYP FX: Rudi to start, a little unsteady on the landing but nothing severe. Hits the Popa, then double full for the second pass, minor form and a bounce on the landing. Stumbled at the end of her leap series. Back layout full at the end is a bit piked but she gets it around. 9.900

Djenna Laroui ALG VT: Looks like a fall based on the score. 11.900

8:30 am. Kaylia Nemour ALG VT: Yurchenko double full, gets it around really well! Minor form in the air and a lunge back to control it. 14.000

8:28 am. Kalypso Papaioannou CYP FX: Back layout 1.5, form a bit weak in the air and she ends up short, puts her hand down. Hit the leap series well. Punches into a barani for her second pass, slightly short, hops up. Just a back tuck for her third pass. 9.100

8:26 am. Touch warmups now underway!

SUBDIVISION 2 | ROTATION 1

8:23 am. Antea Sikic Kaucic CRO FX: Front layout through to double pike, a bit short with a stumble. Double full, a bit deep. Double wolf turn. Double tuck, also slightly short and forward on the landing, hop. Switch ring to tour jeté half.

8:20 am. Danie Ferris MAR BB: Hit the punch front mount. Switch to switch half, really short on that in her split and falls. Front aerial comes up short and she falls again. Split jump to straddle jump, both also slightly short. Bhs loso with slight knee form and a check. Full turn. Off again on the side aerial, oof. Wobble on the switch side. 1.5 with some weak form and a hop. 7.650

8:18 am. Christina Zwicker CRO FX: Step back on the mostly clean double pike. Popa was clean. Front tuck through to double full, a little deep in that landing but again mostly clean. Switch half. Double wolf turn. Switch leap to switch ring, didn’t look QUITE right but we also had a weird front angle for it so I won’t judge her. Lovely overall! 11.550

8:14 am. Lena Khenoun ALG FX: Double tuck, some leg form in the air, step backwards OOB. Tour jeté half. Front tuck through to back layout full, minor form in the air but landed well. Switch to split ring leap, nice. Memmel not super controlled at the end, but another hit routine for Algeria! 11.400

8:12 am. Kalypso Papaioannou CYP BB: Hit the cross split jump to start, then a side aerial. Steady on the back handspring. Switch leap + sissone, maybe slightly slow to connect but she looks good so far! Grabs the beam and comes off on the side somi. They cut away after this. 8.600

8:10 am. Kaylia Nemour ALG FX: Double layout, some leg separation in the air and slightly short but not bad! Whip whip to triple full, WHAT is this camera angle lmao, but from what I could see it was hit. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Front tuck through to double pike, chest down but feet planted. Switch full was wild/not cute but overall a hit! 13.400 (5.3 D)

Georgia Charalampous CYP BB: 9.750

8:06 am. Djenna Laroui ALG FX: Double L was a little iffy. Full-in was a bit messy in the air and short, hop. Front layout front full not bad! Small bounce forward. Mostly good Popa, maybe a hair short in rotation. Double wolf turn finish was super uncontrolled but she covered it up with some “choreo.” Double tuck, not super powerful but gets it around. Leap series also a little short. LOTS of little things throughout but overall a hit! 11.900

8:03 am. Eva Dionysiou CYP BB: Switch leap to sissone with a little stumble in between. Off on the standing back pike. Side aerial hit, full turn a little overrotated, front aerial, little bobble. Front pike dismount with a little hop. 8.800

Louna Hamames-Moallic ALG FX: 12.350

8:01 am. Touch warmups are underway!

7:57 am. Jumping in for the second subdivision because I did not want to wake up at 4 am!

Lucija Hribar of Slovenia leads the all-around with a 49.250 ahead of Athanasia Mesiri of Greece with a 48.900, and Portugal leads the team competition.

This subdivision will see Algeria, Cyprus, Morocco, Croatia, and Syria.
