4:40 am. Mafalda Costa POR UB: Shaposh to overshoot, toe shoot, clear hip arches over slightly but connects to blind change to piked Jaeger, a little crooked in the turn after, also does a blind full and a tucked toe front half, form in the air and a hop. 11.500

4:39 am. Kaylia Nemour ALG VT: Yurchenko double full, not super powerful but she gets it around with noticeable hip and knee form, chest down and a hop to the side. 13.800

4:38 am. Mariana Parente POR UB: Arched over a handstand at the start and came over the wrong way, fall. Remounts for a Pak with leg separation, Shaposh to Gienger, a bit low with leg separation, clear hip to blind change to piked Jaeger, nice. Double layout, a bit deep in the landing, hop.

4:37 am. Alba Petisco ESP VT: Yurchenko 1.5, really nice in the air, hop forward on the landing. 13.650

4:36 am. Djenna Laroui ALG UB: Toe full to Tkachev, nice. Clean Pak. Maloney to Gienger, minor leg separation but good connection overall. Also caught a straddle Jaeger, toe-on to blind half, and a full-in with a hop. Great quality routine, and didn’t have the mistake from quals where she whacked her feet on the low bar immediately so her score should improve dramatically. 13.300

4:35 am. Sofia Tonelli ITA VT: Yurchenko 1.5, some hip form and knee form but the landing is really solid. 13.700

4:32 am. Touch warmups are underway now. Kaylia Nemour had more than a two-point lead in qualifications WITH a fall on bars, so she’s looking to run away with the title today even if she’s not perfect, and I think Alba Petisco should also be pretty set for the podium.
