Naël Sakouhi FRA HB:
4:43 am. Should be moving to the third rotation touch warmups in a second!
SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 2
4:42 am. Peder Skogvang NOR FX: Front full to piked double front, hop forward, I think maybe toes OOB? Full-twisting double layout with some pike down and a bounce on the landing. Double full down the side. 2.5 to front layout, small hop. Double pike with a step back.
4:41 am. Diogo Soares BRA HB: Tak full, Tak half to Kolman, messy in the air but caught, layout Tkachev, Liukin, a bit scrappy in his form, toe-on, hop full, double double layout dismount with a hop.
4:38 am. Quentin Brandenburger LUX FX: Double front with a hop forward. 2.5 to front layout, minor form. Hit the side pass. Finished with an arabian double front.
Tang Chia-Hung TWN SR: Planche down to Maltese, swing through to Maltese, back giant to handstand, front saltos to handstand had to muscle a bit. Hit the dismount.
They’re cleaning blood off the high bar mat. LORD.
4:37 am. Félix Dolci CAN PH: Had lots of leg form issues early on, again on the Russians at the end of the horse, but he made it through without a fall!
Kevin Carvalho FRA PB: Made it through well enough! Double front dismount.
4:33 am. Jordan Carroll CAN PH: Opening circle work on the single pommels was really strong, amazing hip clearance, everything else I saw was good!
Anthony Mansard FRA PB: Tried to watch this but got side-tracked by the HB drama which was very scary!
Arthur Mariano HB: Layout Tkachev to Gienger, Tak half to Def, fall. Oh no, looks potentially injured? No like dangerously so, he just stumbled off the mat and kinda crashed, something head-related, he’s up and moving away thanks to coaches/trainers.
Adam Steele IRL VT: Looked really nice and stuck!
4:31 am. Adam Lakomy CZE VT: Really deep landing on his vault, I think a Kas 1.5.
The pommels stream is crashing tf out lol.
René Cournoyer FRA PH: Minor form breaks and a little muscle into the dismount.
Leeroy Traore-Malatre FRA PB: Came off on the first pirouette.
Patrick Sampaio BRA HB: Zou Li Min, Cassina, Kovacs, layout Tkachev, straddle Tkachev, all good! Tak was also nice, Tak half, hit the dismount, fab routine!
4:28 am. Sebastian Sponevik NOR FX: Double-twisting double layout, good! Front double full to double front. 2.5 to front layout down the side. Nice open out on the double pike to finish, stunning set.
Sam Zakutney CAN PH: I think this was a hit routine!
Jack Gagamov CZE VT: Didn’t see what he did but hands down.
Naël Sakouhi FRA PB: Hit what I saw!
Vitaliy Guimaraes BRA HB: Hit routine! Hop back on the full-twisting double layout dismount.
4:21 am. Moving on to the second rotation!
SUBDIVISION 1 | ROTATION 1
4:20 am. Quentin Brandenburger LUX HB: Tak full had some leg form, Tak half with leg form as well, straddle Tkachev, hop giant, double-twisting double layout stuck! Nice work.
4:18 am. Isaac Nuñez MEX HB: Really overshot the Kolman and had a fall but hit the rest of his set.
I didn’t see a single rings routine and you know what I’m okay with that.
4:16 am. Félix Dolci CAN FX: Gorg full-twisting double layout. Front full to piked double front, big stumble back and put his hand down. Also crashed the double double down the side. Hit the next pass, then a double pike to finish.
Lee Chih-Kai TWN PH: Everything at the beginning looked good, loved the Sohn basicallyright into the flairs. Aggressive work there, maybe a bit rushed into the dismount, but a hit routine.
Diogo Soares BRA PH: Hit routine from what I saw!
4:15 am. Hamza Hossaini MAR HB: Layout Tkachev, then came back the wrong way out of a handstand and had to cast back before the Tkachev, some stalder work, dismounts with a full-twisting double layout, small hop.
4:13 am. Naël Sakouhi FRA VT: Noooo I missed it but a 14.000!
Patrick Sampaio BRA PB: Had a leg form break out of an underswing to handstand, quick through the Makuts, double pike dismount.
René Cournoyer CAN FX: Hit the double front then I think 2.5 to front layout? A little short on the double double. Full-in to finish.
Anthony Mansard FRA VT: Kas 1.5 with a hop to the side.
Chiou Min-Han TWN PH: Another fall for them so they’ll be counting one sadly!
4:10 am. Leeroy Traore-Malatre FRA VT: Kas 1.5, pushed forward hard on the landing, big hop forward.
Hung Yuan-Hsi TWN PH: Scissors to handstand, a little short, to scissors, lost his rhythm while backwards traveling and came off.
Xavier Olasz CAN FX: Nice double layout and piked double front. Double full down the side. Got the 2.5 to front layout. Think he had a full-in to finish.
Sebastian Sponevik NOR HB: Kolman was a little messy but caught, got the straddle Tkachev, stalder, triple back with a hop. Good!
4:08 am. Sam Zakutney CAN FX: Piked double front, solid landing. Good double front. Hit a side pass and the next pass as well, then a front full down the side. Double pike to finish, minor leg form.
Tang Chia-Hung TWN PH: Scissor work looked good. Had some leg form breaks as he traveled but overall a hit routine!
Arthur Mariano BRA PB: Hit routine!
Peder Skogvang NOR HB: Believe he had a fall, I only saw him remounting halfway through. Triple back dismount was good!
4:06 am. Touch warmups should be wrapping up shortly.
4:04 am. I have every single individual event feed open so we’ll see how this goes for me lol. It’ll be busy, though, so I likely won’t be able to grab scores until we’re between rotations unless they show them on the screen? Will try to focus on the teams but also of course going to try to catch key individuals slash as many individuals as I can possibly see. No offense to rings but if I decide to not lock in on one apparatus to make it easier for myself, it’ll be rings lol.
4:02 am. Athletes are being introduced now!
3:56 am. Good morning! Up bright and early to cover the first day of MAG qualifications in Rotterdam! The first subdivision begins at 4 am my time so I’m still waiting for the streams to kick off.
Subdivision 1 includes Brazil, Canada, France, and Taiwan among the teams, as well as all-arounders from Czechia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Morocco, and Norway.
Among these, I think Canada has the best shot at making the team final, but France could also get close if they have a good day. Taiwan scares me a bit so I don’t see it happening for them, but I feel like they could also surprise us? I’m just nervous that without Chuang Chia-Lung it’ll be difficult.
