2026 World Championships | Apparatus Finals Day 1 Live Blog

Welcome to the live blog for the first day of apparatus finals at the 2026 World Championships, held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Please refresh your browser every few minutes to see the most recent updates, which will appear at the top of the page.

8:41 am. Not sure what the situation is for medals, like if they’re going to do them after every event, after every couple of events, save them for the end of the day, etc, but if they do them now it’ll probably add a solid 20 minutes to the time before we see WAG on vault so we shall see! Check back in like 10 minutes I guess? Will also post on Twitter when we get started again.

FLOOR FINAL STANDINGS

1. Fred Richard, United States, 14.633
2. Jake Jarman, Great Britain, 14.600
3. Artem Dolgopyat, Israel, 14.466
4. Doi Ryosuke, Japan, 14.366
5. Yahor Sharamkou, Belarus, 14.000
6. Arseniy Dukhno, Russia, 13.666
7. Noam Berkovich, Israel, 13.500
8. Carlos Yulo, Philippines, 13.233

8:35 am. Jake Jarman GBR FX: Triple-twisting double layout, small hop. 2.5 to double front, solid, tiny hop back. 3.5 down the side with a step. Triple double, small hop back. Triple full down the side, another hop back. Not his best landings but not as severe as others. Small hop on the double double to finish. He’ll medal for sure!

8:32 am. Arseniy Dukhno RUS FX: Double-twisting double layout with a small hop. Front double full to double front, big wild bounce forward and stumbles out of bounds. I’m going to scream. Double double down the side is stuck. Hit the next pass, I didn’t see the entry, small hop back on the full-twisting double layout at the end. 13.666 (5.9, 8.066, -0.3 ND)

8:28 am. Carlos Yulo PHI FX: Okay I love his highlights. 2.5 to piked double front, super clean, small hop. Front double full goes low and long into the double front, sits it. UGH. 3.5 down the side. Full-twisting double layout, flared with a hop. Beautiful stuck double layout. 13.233 (5.8, 7.633, -0.3 ND, +0.1 SB)

8:25 am. Yahor Sharamkou BLR FX: Front double full to double front, big hop forward. Double twisting double layout, some form throughout in his hips and knees, but gets the landing. Whip to 2.5 down the side. Full-twisting double layout, big hop back. Double double, chest down, hop back. 14.000 (5.8, 8.200)

8:18 am. Artem Dolgopyat ISR FX: Double double layout ends up slightly short with a tiny hop. Front full to piked double front, feet don’t move but his upper body wobbles. Double double down the side, a little iffy on the landing with chest position and baby hops. 2.5 to double front, super clean I think. Arabian double front half, short with a big hop forward. A little weak for him tbh. 14.466 (5.8, 8.666)

8:14 am. Fred Richard USA FX: Front full to piked double front, good landing. Tiny bounce back on the double-twisting double layout. 2.5 to front layout, looked pretty clean throughout, tiny bounce again. Full-twisting double layout, a bit piked throughout, and…you guessed it, TINY BOUNCE. Half-in half-out to finish. Stuck it! 14.633 (5.7, 8.833, +0.1 SB)

8:10 am. Noam Berkovich ISR FX: Triple back tuck, only minor cowboy throughout, step back OOB. 2.5 to double front, step forward, I think also OOB? 2.5 to front layout down the side, little hop. Triple full, another tiny hop. Double pike, does a pretty and VERY fancy lil kick-out but it makes him end up landing a bit short with a stumble. 13.500 (5.7, 8.000, -0.2 ND)

8:07 am. Doi Ryosuke JPN FX: Triple double, chest down but stuck! 2.5 to double front, a bit low and cowboyed, lands with a foot OOB. 3.5 down the side, small hop forward. I think a 1.5 to randi for the next pass, mostly good, then sticks the double double at the end! 14.366 (5.8, 8.566, -0.1 ND, +0.1 SB)
