The final day of competition at the 2014 Top Gym meet in Charleroi, Belgium concluded on Sunday November 30 with two more gold medals going to Russia’s Angelina Melnikova.

Melnikova was Sunday’s top performer on vault and bars, while Marine Boyer of France had the best score on beam and Olivia Cimpian of Romania took gold on floor. Boyer also picked up a silver medal on vault while Cimpian placed 11th on bars.

Amy Tinkler of Great Britain had a fantastic day, finishing on the podium three times after a rough all-around performance on Saturday. The 15-year-old won bronze on vault, tied Dyonnailys Supriana of the Netherlands for bronze on bars, and won silver on floor. Canada’s Sydney Soloski also had a good deal of success, winning beam silver and tying France’s Juliette Bossu for floor bronze, Belgium’s Nina Derwael won bars silver, and in a nice surprise, Tzuf Feldon of Israel rose to the occasion on on beam, earning a bronze medal for her fantastic routine.

The event finals also featured mixed team competition, with 14 countries pairing up to form seven teams who competed in a two-up, two-count format. Canada and Hungary came in first place with a 103.2, Great Britain and a second Canadian group placed second with a 102.7, and the group from Belgium and the Netherlands came in third with a 101.475.
