Who Made It To NCAA Championships?

Screen Shot 2015-04-05 at 12.06.16 AM The NCAA Regional Championships were held earlier today, where 36 teams battled for spots at this year’s NCAA Championships. We watched all eight hours of nonstop simultaneous action and have a big report coming up with all of our opinions about what went down. For now, here’s who made it.

Teams The top two teams from each regional moves up. In order of scores, this includes:

1. Oklahoma 197.625

2. Alabama 197.575

3. UCLA 197.500

4. Florida 197.475

5. LSU 197.175

6. Georgia 197.025

7. Stanford 197.000

— Michigan 197.000

9. Nebraska 196.950

10. Auburn 196.900

11. Oregon State 196.750

12. Utah 196.575

All-Around The top two athletes from each regional who weren’t on a qualifying team goes to Fort Worth, including:

1. Lindsay Mable (Minnesota) 39.575

2. Giana O’Connor (Illinois) 39.475

3. Nina McGee (Denver) 39.425

4. Caitlin Brown (Iowa State) 39.350

— Mary Jane Horth (Illinois) 39.350

6. Taylor Harrison (Ohio State) 39.275

— Kelsey Morris (Boise State) 39.275

— Toni Ann Williams (Cal) 39.275

9. Brittni Watkins (NC State) 39.250

10. Michaela Woodford (NC State) 39.225

11. Cami Drouin-Allaire (George Washington) 39.175

12. Sydney Waltz (Kentucky) 39.125

Events This is the most difficult way to make it. To go as an event specialist, an athlete on a non-qualifying team must win her event at regionals. Difficult, but not impossible. The following athletes are going as specialists:

Uneven Bars: Sunny Kato (Illinois) 9.95, Jaime Armijo (Southern Utah) 9.9

Balance Beam: Ana Jaworski (Southern Utah) 9.9

Results To hold you over until our recap, check out the results from each meet below.
