Top one should be senior all around

Are Eremina’s scores accurate or does the meet generally give out higher points? It seems odd to me that she gets such a high score on uneven bars with the form issues she has. Although I’m happy that she kind of redeemed herself after Nationals and DTB.

She upgraded her UB rotine a lot

Tbh I love Riley McCusker but in no way her bars deserve a 15.05 🤔 What’s up with the judges in this meet.

I’m not surprised, Jesolo scores are almost always inflated.

Wow, the juniors scores are so high! #1 senior girl wouldn’t only made #3 in the junior field. Is that normal?

All of the seniors from last year either retired, took a break (all of the final 5), or went to college (Maggie, Maddie, Mykayla, etc.) All of the major senior contributors left and now the only real experienced person the team has is Ragan Smith, who wasn’t present at this meet because she was injured after the olympics and used this time to work on upgrades. Still, the juniors are REALLY strong this quad and I can see this quad being more similar to the 2009-2012 quad where most of the olympians ARE girls who turned senior in that quad. Who knows, though…
In response to the question, it really does depend. I can’t say the senior team lived up to their potential.

Does anyone knows what happened with Giorgia Villa?

She was sick so her first three scores are just a bit lower because she wasn’t totally at her best, and then she got injured on her first pass and had to stop so she lost tons in ND for not competing enough skills and then had a super low D.

But is she ok

Ah sorry I thought you meant why her scores were so low. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any information about what exactly the extent of the injury is yet… fingers crossed she’s ok!

yes, nothing too serious, she got injured and had a little surgery (achilles tendon, I think). She’s gonna be back in few months.

I’m desperate, I feel dumb … its like I don’t understand the scores now … I see a lot of 13s on podium I mean, the gold medal went to a 12 , what is good and bad? Did Rebecca fall from bars?

Dont think so, looking to the new code i would say a 13 is kind of normal

The main difference is removing .5 CR from all the routines right? I’m just mentally adding +.5 to each routine to get an intuition for how good they are.

Yeah, it’s not an exact science but that works well enough.

That’s amazing how well the jr did. I can only hope they will improve and not regress.
