Tabea Alt is fantastic. Do you think she could be a serious contender for a podium ?
At recent national competitions, scores seemed inflated (Romania, Russia, USA, even China). In some cases, E scores were incredibly high, and in other cases, the estimation of D scores seemed very permissive (the example of Ponor expecting a 6.5. and obtaining a 5.6 at Szombately is enlightening).
Without any reliable benchmark, it’s very difficult to say who, other things being equal, would win a medal between ten or so girls.
